Chapter 61 : how did we get here?

I sigh in content, snuggling further into Aaron's chest. This is our official first cuddle as a couple!

My legs are draped over Aaron's and he has his arms around me. We are watching Friends, as we usually tend to do, and having pizza.

Aaron is in my house for the day, since my parents are out. They're going somewhere two hours away for dad's job, and they'll spend at least nine hours outside the house today. Fine by me! I told them I'd invite Aaron over and they agreed.

We told everyone in school today about us dating, and I must say, their reactions were priceless. Especially when they heard Aaron and I saying I love you to one another and the whole table went into utter silence. But then they said they weren't surprised because we're in love, they apparently already knew, they were just shocked at how fast things happened. I get where they're coming from.

The girls forced all the details out of me, and their reactions made me melt inside! Everyone is so supportive of our relationship and believes in it. Aaron is just amazing, and I'm gonna make him mine forever if I can.

It's crazy to think that I look at it this way, because I never really believed that high school love lasts, but with Aaron, I turn into a fool and believe we'll move in together one day. And then everyday after that.

"Can you pass me my phone, Oreo?" Aaron's voice said above my head, as his phone piped with a notification.

I pushed my body a little away from Aaron and grabbed his phone that was lying on the couch next to me.

As I was handling Aaron his phone, the screen was still on because he had just received the text and what I saw made me super happy.

Aaron's wallpaper was a picture of me, sleeping on the couch in his hoodie, earlier today! When he first got here, I accidentally fell asleep, and when I woke up I found he had ordered the pizza and prepared everything for us to watch.

He treats me like a princess and I'm here for it.

"Awwwww, I wanna call you baby but I can't, but awwwww!!" I said and Aaron laughed.

"Why can't you!" Aaron said and I blushed.

"Because.." I murmured, "I feel weird saying that.."

"You can call me that whenever." Aaron stated and I grinned.

"Let me see the picture again!" I said, changing the subject and Aaron gave me his phone.

I want to call Aaron baby, but I'm still too shy for that, we've just started dating, it hasn't even been a week.

I inspected the picture and cringed at how bad I looked.

"Ew, I'm so ugly when I sleep!" I exclaimed and Aaron narrowed his eyes at me.

"I took the picture because you looked too fucking cute and precious, I dare you to say that again." Aaron said, glaring at me and I smiled.

"Okay, I'm sorry. I love you." I replied and Aaron's frown ceased at the mention of that.

"I love you too. I love going on my phone and seeing something as beautiful as that first thing. You're everything." Aaron said and I threw my hands around him and straddled his lap, happiness consuming me at his words.

Friends was still playing in the background but we completely forgot about that.

I pulled my head from Aaron's shoulder and rested my forehead against his.

I could actually feel the tension and Aaron broke it. His hand was slowly moving up and down my bare thigh and I had to take a breath to calm myself down.

Aaron must have sensed my frustration and swiftly placed his lips on mine.

I kissed Aaron back immediately, our lips passionately molding together, making me go crazy. Aaron came on too fast and urgent, plunging his tongue inside my mouth, and I complied, just as desperate for the kiss as Aaron is.

Aaron cups the side of my face in his right palm as his left is still trailing on my thigh, and he tilts my head back, gaining himself more access. I slowly moaned against him and he kissed me harder.

Aaron pulled back from my mouth and left soft kisses on my jaw and onto my neck, and I felt fireworks and explosions go around my entire body.

For some odd reason, I still haven't thought about having sex with Aaron, but right now the thought of it entices me. We're both not virgins, so it only needs both of us getting into it.

I pulled Aaron's head back from my neck and to my lips again, and we kissed softly, sighing against each other.

When Aaron pulled back, we were gasping and a little out of breath as we tried to compose ourselves. Jeez, how did we get here?

You were practically straddling him, what did you expect?

I awkwardly pulled my leg from the side of Aaron, and went back to our cuddling, next to his side. Aaron sensed my shyness and laughed, kissing my forehead.

Aaron is consuming me. And there is no stopping it.

"Okay, you promise you're not gonna get mad?" Nathan said, for the third time and I banged my head against the table, frowning.

"Yessssss." I replied, and Nathan sighed.

"So.... Kathrine?" Nathan said, and upon hearing her name, my head jumped from the table and I raised my brows at him.

"What about her?" I replied and Nathan scratched the back of his head, nervously.

"You kissed again?" I asked and Nathan nodded.

I gasped, getting ready to throw profanities and Nathan realized that as he quickly shut my mouth with his hand.

"But." He said and I nodded, not saying anything as he pulled his hand back.

"I kissed her as her soon to be date partner, since her boyfriend broke up with her." Nathan continued and I was too shocked to understand.

"Wait hold up, she broke up with her boyfriend? Since when?" I furrowed my brows.

"He broke up with her, I made her tell him we kissed like you said and now I'm hoping I'll never stumble upon him." Nathan said and I chuckled at that.

"And you asked her out?" I asked, knowing the answer but now knowing how to feel about it at all.

Nathan shrugged, "It was more like both of us, when she called me to tell me about it, she was saying she feels bad but she cares about me too much."

"Should I awww or should I hate her?" I cringed, and Nathan pouted.

"I want you to meet her someday and stop hating her! Our date is later this week, maybe the week after she can meet all of you guys!" Nathan said.

"But she doesn't know that you know anything about her so please just act that way." Nathan reminded me and I nodded.

"Yeah, yeah, ofcourse." I replied.

"I don't want you to take the wrong idea of her, but I know you have the full one. I've known her for a couple of years now, she's so kind and respectful, y'know? What she did was an honest huge mistake. And she'd realized upon that kiss that she doesn't love her boyfriend the way she thought she did, but before that, she wasn't faking it with him, I don't know if you'll get my point but-" Nathan said, unable to find words to further explain himself.

"I get it, I really do. I'm not going to judge her until I meet her, and I'll get to know her as your girlfriend hopefully," I wiggled my brows at that, "not a cheater or whatever." I continued.

Nathan smiled, "Thank you, Ellie."

I smiled in return.

"So, how's things between Aaron and you?" Nathan asked and I grinned at him before he continued.

"I mean, I know it's hard dating a douche but you'll manage, for the sake of love." Nathan said and my head fell back laughing.

"Things are good, really good, I'm happy." I answered, blushing a little as I talk about my relationship and Nathan smiled.

"You two have always been so perfect for each other, Aaron was freaking out when Ethan told him you'd join us for lunch." Nathan said and my interest peaked at the mention of that.

"I've wanted to ask you about that and how it came about!" I exclaimed and Nathan shrugged.

"It's honestly just how you know it. Aaron always told us he has a crush on you but we thought he was playing, you know how him and Steve used to act," Nathan said and I nodded, the thought of Aaron and Steve's past with girls making me cringe inwardly, "but when it went on for two years, and you're the only one he was too scared to confront and speak to, but only admired from afar, we knew he was being genuine."

"And then fast forward this year, after he saw you in his car, he thought he blew up all his chances by acting like an asshole." Nathan said and I nodded, laughing.

"He definitely did that day." I replied and Nathan chuckled.

"He asked one of us to befriend you and make you come over for lunch with us, and then you guys became super close out of nowhere, and we told him it was destined and he should stop being a pussy about it." Nathan said, and my heart warmed up as I imagined Aaron being all cute and scared to ask me out.

"You told him that?" I pouted and Nathan gave me a disgusted look.

"You told him that." Nathan repeated, mocking me and I laughed.

"Is she coming today?" A student who I don't know the name of but he sits in front of Nathan's and I's seats, turned around and asked us, referring to our teacher.

"She's probably just late." Nathan answered him but my head was wrapped somewhere else. Somewhere with Aaron, what class he has, whether or not I'm going to see him after school today and if I'll kiss him.
