Chapter 54 : The wanting look.

Here's the double update of the week babies, hope you enjoy:

***************************************

I walked into school Monday morning feeling as though I might throw up because of how miserable I feel.

School is back again, all the fun days are over and gone until next year. To top it off, it's freezing as hell, I've literally been shivering in cold all morning long. Leaving my bed was like torture.

I found everyone standing outside of school and huffed as I made my way towards them.

"What the fuck are you doing out in the cold?" I said to them the moment I reached them.

"What are fuck are you so angry about?" Ethan replied and I rolled my eyes.

"The fact that I can't feel my buttcheeks due to the cold?" I replied and Joey laughed.

"You seem well dressed up, why are you so cold?" Steve asked and I narrowed my eyes at him.

"We have emotions Steve okay, not everyone is like you, I can practically feel the cold in my bones today." I said and Steve gasped.

"Bitch." He muttered and I ignored him.

"Come here," Ethan laughed at me, opening his arms for me, "I'll warm you."

I laughed and walked into Ethan's arms, and we hugged each other.

I couldn't help but compare this hug to Aaron's. Aaron is taller and I always feel small and safe in his arms.

"Oh my god," I said, "It's warm in here!"

Ethan and I laughed after we pulled away from each other and then we all started conversing in other stuff.

"Why are you so silent today?" I chuckled at Aaron, who was standing next to me.

Aaron literally rolled his eyes at me, "I'm fine."

I raised my brows, but didn't question him anymore.

"Guys, I have something I need to tell you." Ethan suddenly said and we all looked at him.

"Well, girls only. Everyone else knows." Ethan said, chuckling nervously.

His face started going red and I was growing more and more confused by the second.

Laurel nodded at Ethan comfortingly to keep going and he sighed.

"I uh," Ethan began, "I don't know if you know this because Steve kind of knew and Joey," Ethan started rambling and the girls and I glanced at each other in confusion, "maybe you don't, it doesn't matter."

"Ethan." I said, stopping him. "It's only us, you can tell us."

Ethan looked at me silently for a second and then nodded.

"It's just that I.." Ethan said, "I'm bisexual."

Oh.

I did not see that coming.

I don't know how to react, I'm kind of shocked, but the last thing I want is for Ethan to think that this isn't okay.

"Aww, I'm so happy you're telling us." Rose said and I feel like we all lowkey got emotional but didn't wanna show much, because we didn't know what to say.

Ethan just nodded in silence and I went in to hug him.

"We love you, always, this literally doesn't change a thing." I said and Ethan nodded, his head on my shoulders.

We pulled back and Laurel hugged him next.

"Do you guys really just, don't care?" Ethan asked glancing at us.

"Ofcourse idiot, that literally doesn't matter and doesn't change anything at all, we love you because you're Ethan, not because of your love life and dates!" I replied cheekily and Ethan laughed.

"I love you guys." Ethan said and we all muttered the same thing back.

"Why are you being so grumpy?" I huffed, crossing my arms at Aaron.

"I'm not, I just wanna go home." Aaron replied, rolling his eyes, and then he opened his car door.

I stepped forward and closed it, glaring at him.

"Why are you acting so weird towards me today! Seriously!" I asked Aaron for what felt like the millionth time.

I genuinely don't understand why is he acting so cold towards me today, he's never been like that before.

"Why do you care? Just go hangout with Ethan." Aaron told me, his eyes zooming away at something behind me.

I raised my brows in confusion, "What the hell are you talking about?"

"Ask yourself." Aaron said, giving me a sarcastic smile and I shook my head.

"Don't play games with me Aaron, just say what's really going on already." I crossed my arms sassily.

"You hugged him today, for like twelve times." Aaron stated and I stared at him with a bored expression.

"I hugged him because he literally came out to us today but go off." I scoffed, disappointed that something as stupid as that is what's bothering him.

"You hugged him five times, and two of them were because of the cold, don't lie." Aaron replied and I actually laughed.

"You seriously kept track of that?" I said in disbelief.

"Whatever Ellie, I'll just go home now." Aaron said and I laughed even more.

"It's not funny." Aaron huffed and I nodded, my laughter finally dying down.

"You're an idiot." I said and Aaron didn't reply.

"You ought to know by now that you're the best guy in my life." I told Aaron, smiling sheepishly and Aaron's eyes found their way back to mine.

Aaron's eyes seemed to light up at that, his whole demeanor changing really.

"You're right, Oreo, I'm stupid." Aaron replied and I nodded my head in agreement.

"You're jealous." I smirked and Aaron rolled his eyes, laughing afterwards.

"Yes, that's me, always jealous when it comes to you, anything else?" Aaron replied, glancing at my lips quickly, but not quick enough for me to miss the look in his eyes.

I have the same look when I stare at him. The wanting look.

A cold breeze flew past us and I shivered for the tenth time today.

"Jeez, I guess I need someone to hug me and warm me up." I said and Aaron grinned at me.

"Where's Ethan when you need him?" I shook my head, teasing Aaron and his smile dropped.

"Come here." I whispered and Aaron and I walked into a hug at the same time.

Aaron wrapped his arms around me instantly and rubbed my back, as I snuggled my face in his chest, feeling the rhythm of his heartbeat underneath his jacket.

"Do you feel warm now?" Aaron whispered, his face resting on my head.

"Always." I replied, hoping Aaron would understand what that meant. How every time I see him, I'm all warm.

I don't know if he did because he didn't say anything further. We just stood there, in each other's arms, in front of the school's gates.

You always keep me warm Aaron Owens. With and without a hug.
