Chapter 47 : I'm cringing at myself inwardly.
******************************************
I groaned slightly when I felt something soft stroke my face.
I don't want to open my eyes.
Why is there something trailing on my face?
I opened my eyes slowly, noticing the immense sunlight shining through the room.
The last thing I expected was to open my eyes on a Friday afternoon and see the most beautiful green eyes staring back at me.
Aaron's eyes...
And that's when I realized what the soft thing stroking my face was. Aaron's hand.
Aaron sucked in a quick breath and pulled his hand away immediately, having just gotten caught by me.
"Uh.." Aaron spoke nervously, "Good morning."
I smiled a little, "Morning."
"God, I sound so ugly when I wake up." I added quickly after making a disgusted face.
"Shut up." Aaron glared at me and I just nodded.
"Cool okay." I said, pulling the duvet over my head to fall asleep again.
"No enough sleep, get up." Aaron scolded me, pulling the blanket away from my body making me gasp.
"You don't get to decide how much I sleep."
"You don't get to sleep more than seven hours in the morning and ruin your sleeping schedule." Aaron said to me sternly and I scoffed, pretending to be upset.
In reality my heart is screaming in joy, because Aaron actually gives a shit about me sleeping well, and also he's very hot when he's scolding like a dad.
He's a daddy.
I did not just think that.
My daddy though.
I'm cringing at myself inwardly.
After that, I got up and went to the bathroom without saying a word, purposely, and Aaron laughed at that.
After panicking about my slim chances of being with Aaron becoming even slimmer because I look fucking ugly when I wake up, I washed my face and made my way to the empty living room.
Frowning as I found both Aaron's room and the living room empty, I called out for Aaron.
"Right here." Aaron called back from the kitchen and I made my way over there.
I walked in to the next best sight of the day, besides Aaron's eyes, waffles.
"You know how to make waffles?" I gasped in shock as I sat down happily at the table.
"Yes I do." Aaron smirked at me and sat across from me as he set the nutella jar on the table.
I immediately grabbed a hold of it and used almost half the jar on my waffle.
Great, so not only is my crush attractive, he also makes waffles.
"Are we supposed to be having breakfast, during like, dinner time?" I said, chuckling, as it is four thirty in the afternoon.
"Yes, yes we are." Aaron shrugged and I nodded along.
I took my first bite out of the waffle and held myself from moaning in pleasure to avoid Aaron's snarky remarks.
"I don't know how you do this shit man, but congrats, one of the best waffles I've ever had." I said and then proceeded to clap my hands as Aaron laughed and rolled his eyes at me.
"My pleasure, Ellie Rosell, just tell me what you like and I'll make it for you." Aaron said, smirking at me and I giggled like a damn school girl.
"Pancakes.." I answered shyly.
"Stop acting all shy, like you have any manners." Aaron said, crossing his arms, and I dropped my fork as my jaw dropped.
"Excuse me? I do have manners, hence the fact that I just clapped for you because you can make what everyone else can make!" I exclaimed, flipping my hair over my shoulder.
"You can't make waffles." Aaron fired back and I lowered my eyes.
"Yeah, but alot of people do.." I replied, still holding my ground and trying to win the argument.
Aaron suddenly stood up and walked over to me making me raise my eyes at him curiously.
My hands started actually sweating when Aaron's head lowered until his face was at the same level as mine.
"You have chocolate here." Aaron whispered huskily as his thumb patted the corner of my mouth and I sucked in a sharp breath.
It's getting too hot in here.
Aaron's voice in itself is sexy.
"Hmm it's not going away." Aaron said, smirking at me and I wanted to smash his face because I know he is teasing me.
But I couldn't do that because my heart won't stop beating too fast and my mind can't stop imagining stuff.
Like making out with Aaron on this damn table.
"Here, all gone." Aaron pulled back his hand and slowly stood up again. I was finally able to breath again.
I thought this was only real in books, but now it's a shocker when I actually feel the electricity on the spot his touch just left.
Aaron walked back to his chair and sat down all smugly, looking satisfied as I blushed greatly and pouted.
"So you were saying?" Aaron said, picking up his fork again.
"Hm?" I hummed quietly, clearing my throat.
"How alot of poeple make waffles, and I'm not special?" Aaron continued enjoying his damn waffle while I sweated in my place.
"Oh uh, it's uh," I stuttered awkwardly, "never mind, it's nothing." I chuckled, casting my eyes downwards to avoid Aaron's.
I heard Aaron chuckle as I tried mastering the skill of hiding behind my hair when needed, "You're so damn cute, I try to stop saying it all the time, but you're the cutest, I swear to god."
God please stop, I'm gonna throw up.
"Oh I," I replied trying to stop the heat on my face, "thank you."
Aaron only smiled in response and I took another bite silently.
"So when is Christmas break starting, exactly?" I asked, trying to change the subject.
Why can I never be one of those bad girls who got everything under control and can make cute boys blush? Instead, I'm stuck being awkward as hell.
"It's two weeks before Christmas every year, Oreo." Aaron replied laughing and I rolled my eyes.
"So I just have to power through this damn week." I groaned.
"It will be fine, unless you fail English again." Aaron shrugged and I widened my eyes.
"Excuse me?"
"No one fails the easiest subject, Oreo." Aaron pointed out cockily and I narrowed my eyes at him.
"I told you, I didn't see the entire last page when I handed in my paper!" I said, explaining the same story for like the fifteenth time.
"Well next time, be more careful." Aaron responded.
"Well next time, we're not gonna be friends so you won't know whether or not I failed." I fired back.
"I always knew you wanted us to be more than friends." Aaron said, placing his hand on his heart.
"Ughh, you're so frustrating!" I exclaimed, getting up to get away from Aaron as he just laughed behind me.
"Uh, Ellie?" Aaron called out for me and I turned around.
"Yeah?"
"You know that I love spending time with you, I mean I invited you here in the first place," Aaron said and I nodded for him to continue, "but mom's gonna be here in two hours, you can stay if you want, it's up to you."
I sighed feeling bad for Aaron, "Oh Aaron, it's okay, I understand," I said before adding, "I mean I better get home, because mom's gonna kill me otherwise."
"I'm gonna drive you there." Aaron said as we entered his room to grab some of our stuff before leaving.
"I know, do you even have to inform me anymore?" I said and Aaron and I both laughed.
I changed out of Aaron's shirt to my clothes and then followed him outside to his car while he started the car.
After sniffing that shirt for a good three minutes....
"You really can stay if you'd like, you know I want you to, right?" Aaron suddenly said the moment he started driving.
I sighed, "Yes, Aaron, I know that, stop overthinking."
"You know, I really want you to, but there's just something going on with mom, and I don't want her to lash out at you like the previous time." Aaron said and I raised my eyebrows.
"Why, what's going on?" I asked, not out of curiosity, but out of care and worry over Aaron.
"I don't know really, she's like, hiding something." Aaron replied and I furrowed my brows.
"Really, like what?"
"You're gonna think I'm being delusional." Aaron chuckled, shaking his head.
"Don't let me punch you." I said and Aaron looked at me, laughing.
"Okay, well um," Aaron started to explain, "I think she's sick, maybe pregnant, I don't know."
My jaw dropped, "Pregnant?"
"I wouldn't doubt that," Aaron sighed sadly, "I don't know, she's not drinking all the time as usual, she gets dizzy alot, she even had a good conversation with Mason the other day."
"Woah, Aaron, I'm so sorry." I replied and Aaron laughed.
"What are you sorry for, I don't know anything for sure yet." Aaron replied, stopping at a red light.
"Yeah, but, I'm sorry either ways. I mean," I started to explain, "Pregnant? That's horrible, sick? Even worse."
"I'm so done with her, y'know? Like, I just want a normal mother, I just want the old version of her." Aaron said and my heart clenched.
I didn't know what to say so I just responded curtly, "You have every right to think that way."
"Are you hungry?" Aaron suddenly asked and I giggled.
"We just had waffles!"
"So? I love feeding you." Aaron said and I grinned.
My crush is also a keeper. Great.
"And I love gaining back all the pounds I worked hard to lose last week." I said as I crossed my arms.

A/N
There's been a question going on in my mind recently !!
Who's everyone's favorite character in this book besides Aaron and Ellie (if they're your favorite) ??
I can't answer because they're all my babies. But I relate to Ellie and Ethan on a spiritual level.
Love you guys so much, always rememeber that:'))
