"See that girl over there." Zoey leaned against the counter and pointed at a girl dressed in a tight red dress, dancing along her friends. "Go dance with her."

"I am not dancing with any girl." Travis replied, looking over towards that girl.

"Yes you are. Because that's what guys of your age do. They dance with hot girls." Zoey said and pushed him forwards.

"You are so annoying." Travis rolled his eyes and hesitantly made his way towards that girl. Zoey felt amused as she watched him trembling with fear while talking to that girl. After some conversation, they both started talking and Zoey looked away because of the strange pang she felt in her stomach.

"Very brave of you to send the guy you like to dance with a hot girl." She heard a voice. Angling her neck, she found a chubby blonde man sitting by her side, playing with the ice cube in his glass.

"First, I do not like him." She said and he smirked as if he didn't believe her. "And second,  that girl isn't his type. He will get annoyed soon."

"It doesn't look like that." He motioned towards them. Travis was laughing at something that girl was saying and she had placed her stupid hand on his arm. They both were standing too close for Zoey's liking.

"Damn it." She muttered under her breath and made her way towards both of them. "That's enough." She glared at the girl and took Travis to another corner by gripping his arm.

"What was that?" He asked.

"That girl was too much trouble for a fun night." She said and then started dancing along the beat of the music.

"But I liked her." He said, matching her rhythm and tapping his feet on the floor.

"You didn't. That was the alcohol talking." Zoey said and Travis rolled his eyes at this.

They both danced side by side, observing their surroundings and very subtly observing the person in front of them. The alcohol was showing its effect; Travis was becoming less conscious and more confident in his skin.

"So are we going home after this?" He asked, stepping closer to her because of someone pushing him from back.

"No. There are still some places to go." She replied, staring into his eyes. They were so beautiful, like warm honey dripping over melted caramel.

"Like?"

"You will find out soon." She smiled and stepped closer until there were very few inches between them. There were a lot of people on the dance floor and maintaining a reasonable distance was next to impossible.

Their fronts touched together and the heat of Travis' body seeped through the thin layer of Zoey's top. A slight hint of blush appeared on Travis's cheeks and he looked away from her face.

"I can't believe I let you take me to a strip club." Travis said as they drove past their second destination.

"You ran out of there as if you had seen a ghost." Zoey chuckled.

"More like a vampire, a blood sucking vampire." He replied.

"So we have been to a club and a strip club. What's next?" Zoey kept her hands on the steering wheel while her eyes kept diverting to Travis.

"There is a next?" He asked.

"Yes there is." She said and drove towards her favourite ice-cream shop. There, they both ordered mint chocolate chip ice cream and after eating it, she once again revved the engine.

For Travis, the last few hours were a blur. He had done so many thing for the first time, like dancing with a hot stranger or entering a strip club or drinking alcohol voluntarily. All because of a certain girl who had made up her mind to make tonight fun for him.

He turned his head to look at her. Her hair was falling over her face because of the wind. She had her right hand tightened around the steering wheel while her left hand was busy shielding her face from her brown waves.

Travis extended her hand and slowly tucked her free hair behind her ear. His finger glided over her earlobe and a faint smile appeared on Zoey's lips. He retreated his hand before he could be tempted to do something else.

"Where is the next stop?" He asked.

"Fifteen minutes." She said and kept driving.

Travis leaned back in his seat and looked out of the window. The alcohol in his system definitely helped clear his mind from a lot of extra stress. He was living in the moment and it was a nice feeling, instead of spending every minute mapping out the rest of the day.

He closed his eyes for a minute and the next moment, he felt someone shaking him. He opened his eyes and looked around in confusion, expecting to find himself in his own room. But instead, the sight of Zoey's warm brown eyes staring at his face greeted him.

"Wake up. We are here." She said and walked out of the car.

Rubbing his eyes, he looked around and found himself near the Caval Lake, one of the usual picnic spots in their city. This place is usually populated in day but there was hardly anyone at this time of the night.

He followed Zoey to the lake and they stopped at the edge. The moon was hiding behind the thick clouds so there wasn't any light in the lake.

"What are we doing--- Zoey!" His eyes bulged out of sockets when he found Zoey stripping out of her skirt. "What are you doing?"

"We aren't here to appreciate the nature, Travis; we are here for skinny dipping." She replied and then took off her shirt, leaving behind a pair of nude bra and panties. The sight of her caused a very uncomfortable feeling in his pants and he looked away.

"I... What if someone catches us?" He asked.

"So what?" She said. "Now turn around."

"Why?" He asked.

"It's skinny dipping, not undergarments dipping." She replied in a 'duh' tone.

When Travis finally understood what she meant, his eyes widened even more.

"Now turn around. I am not your personal stripper." She glared at him and he nodded.

He felt some movement behind him and he couldn't help but imagine what was going on behind his back. His body warmed up at his vivid imagination and he shook his head to clear his vile thoughts.

Hiding her boobs with one hand, Zoey dived into the lake, splashing some of the water towards Travis. The cool water calmed her skin and she ordered Travis to turn around.

"Take off your clothes and hop in." She said.

"Close your eyes first." He said.

"Fine." She said and then muttered under her breath, "Prude."

Few seconds later, Travis dived into the water and Zoey opened her eyes to stare at him, only to find him already staring at her. Thankfully, there was darkness all around and all they could see was each other's faces.

"How is it?" She asked.

"Liberating." He said and went under the water for moment, only to resurface closer to Zoey.

"Travis!" She screeched and swam backwards. If anyone had told her in the morning that by the end of this day, they would be naked in a lake, she would have laughed.

"So is this your first time skinny dipping?" He asked, swimming around. His wet hair was falling on his forehead awkwardly, making him look like a cute kid.

"Not really." She said and followed him, making sure to keep her chest under the water. "I have tried out pretty much everything. I don't think I have many firsts left now."

"There are. See, first love, first heartbreak, first wedding, first child, etc." He trailed off.

"What makes you think I have any intentions of falling in love or marrying someone?" She laughed.

"These things don't need any intention. They just happen." He replied calmly.

When she didn't say anything in return, Travis stopped swimming and turned around to look at her. She stopped in her tracks as well and they both came face to face.

"What?" He asked.

Zoey took a long sigh and then plastered an uncomfortable smile on her face. "Let's race back to the shore, shall we?"

"I'll win." She heard him say after which he swam past her.

"Not so fast, Anderson." She picked up the speed.
