The ceremony hall is filled with applause. A nervous young researcher, Orzic, steps up to the stage.

"Next award goes to Orzic, for revolutionizing weather prediction."

The spotlight hits Orzic. His hands shake. He drops his speech notes.

A soft laugh echoes from the audience.

"Mr. Orzic, prepare better next time," the announcer mocks.

Orzic stands frozen, humiliated.

His voice echoes in his mind.

"At the top of my career, but why does it feel like I'm falling off a cliff?"

The scene shifts to black.

FADE IN:

INT. ORZIC'S APARTMENT - NIGHT

INT. CANDLELIT ROOM - NIGHT

A baby’s cry fills the air. A woman, Vanilla, holds her newborn in her arms.

The midwife looks worried.

"He's... different."

The camera zooms in on the baby’s wide, fearful eyes.

Orzic’s voice echoes again.

"This can’t be real..."

FADE TO BLACK.

INT. COLLEGE CLASSROOM - FLASHBACK

Kira, full of energy, slams a game case onto the desk.

"Fantasy is amazing, Orzic!" she says excitedly.

Orzic adjusts his glasses, uninterested.

"Fantasy? It’s all made-up nonsense," he replies.

HARD CUT:

INT. MEDIEVAL WORLD - DAY

Unicus, the child, stands in awe as a dragon takes flight.

His voice echoes in disbelief.

"What... is this?"

FADE TO BLACK.

EXT. COTTAGE - DAY

Mellona teases Unicus, who glares at her.

"Why are you here? Go away," he demands.

Mellona smirks.

"Feisty little brat," she teases.

Unicus huffs.

"Someone has to care about hygiene around here," he grumbles.
