29: Alive?

But, wait, Eve's alive?

"Eve, she's alive?" I asked.

Gerald looked at me confusion visible in his eyes.

"Yeah, of course she is. She's been Raven's best weapon and pet, he would never let her die." Gerald who still looked confused explained.

"T-Then that incident? It was planned? The fight? The broken plates? Eve was all in it? She didn't die?" I feel something inside me, I don't know what it is, I just feel my tummy turning upside down.

Gerald looked at me worried.

"She's having an anxiety attack." Gerald's worried voice echoed through my ear as everything went black.

Amellia passed out, fortunately I caught her before she hit the floor.

"Bring her to her room. I'll get my medical kit." Lorenz said.

Like what Lorenz said, I carried Amellia to her room, our family followed.

I gently laid her on her bed, Dad, Grandpa, Gerald, Lorenz, Enzo, and our Uncles and Aunts are inside the room while our cousins and other brothers stayed outside, guarding, and making sure that everything inside the house is alright. Nothing like what happened to dad should happen again.

Lorenz checked her and it was indeed an anxiety attack, she was already panicking when she heard that Evelea was alive, she was already shaking. No one stopped her, we were just ready to catch her if she fell. No one will be able to stop her, she won't listen, at a panicking point it's impossible for someone to listen to anyone.

"It's better to let her sleep for a while." Lorenz suggested. We all agreed and left the room, I was last to leave, I made sure that I opened her lamp before leaving.

We all proceeded to go downstairs, well most of us. Xavier, Xander, Xandrix, and Xendric decided to stay near our Bambina's room just incase she need anything or if she panics.

"We need to know everything you know, Gerald." I said as soon as we sat down.

"Yes, of course. This is based on what Raven was planning before. His plan was simple, annihilate the whole Hara and Ruscov family so that he could take over the mafia and yakuza. He took Amellia, not for bait, but to make her his wife once she turns 18." Everyone almost snapped their heads when they heard that.

"His WIFE? Un dannato maniaco pedofilo!" Dad said with such anger.

(Trans: A damn pedophile maniac!)

I looked at Gerald, "That simple? That was all his plan?" I asked.

Gerald looked me in the eye before sighing.

"That was his plan after Fian died. His original plan is to kill all of you and force Fian to marry him. Before we even got adopted, they would bring Fian with them at the orphanage, they often go there to give out toys and foods for us. When Raven saw her, that's when he started being nice and clingy to our adopted parents. I didn't know that he was attracted to her at first, all I know is that he tried to..." Gerald stopped as if a cat bit his tongue. He looked like he's going to cry any moment now.

I could see how he gulped all those saliva down his throat before finally saying the horrifying truth that I wished I never heard.

"He tried to rape her. That incident caused the huge crack in this whole family. Our adopted parents wouldn't believe a word that she said, they believed that Raven wouldn't do such a thing. I also did, Raven was my brother, and I'd known him my whole life, he was the only family left to me. It was when he tried to kill me that he told me everything. It was then that he admitted every little crime he did."

Dad's eyes has no emotions on it, he was looking at Gerald blankly. Everyone was looking at him blankly. I mean Gerald really is a replica of Raven, the only thing to separate them from each other is a beauty mark under Gerald's lips.

"Di' alla nostra gente di localizzare Raven. Papà, è ora di rendere giustizia a tua figlia." Dad commanded.

(Trans: Tell our people to locate Raven. Dad, it's time to give your daughter justice.)

"Hai. Demo ojīchan, reivun wa sō sugu ni wa mitsukaranai to omou yo." Toshi explained.

(Trans: Yes. But Grandpa, I don't think Raven will be found that soon.)

"Sonotame, hina wa reivun o sagasu yakuwari o ninatte imasu." Ojīchan said.

(Trans: Therefore, Hina is tasked with finding Raven.)

"Dad!" A loud shout made us look at the stairs where Amellia came running down.

"Slow down!" Dad shouted worried.

Fortunately she got down safely and went to our father.

"Why? What is Mia Figlia?" Dad asked our trembling sister.

"I-I woke up in a dim lighted room, and my phone kept on vibrating, I checked it, a-and... A picture of mom's body cut into pieces w-was there!" Amellia's trembling voice explained.

I looked at Dad. It was true that mom's body was later found chopped, weeks after she was buried. Someone dug our mother's grave and decided to chop our deceased mother's body. We were so sure it was Gerald, but now, for sure it's Raven.

"Bambina, give us your phone." I said.

"Drix have it with them, they're checking for something." She answered.

"Okay, stay here with Dad, okay? I'll go up and talk with Xandrix is they found something." I said.

I walked upstairs to Xandrix's room, he's a computer freak, he would be able to locate the location of the sender.

I knocked before going in.

"What did you find?" I asked.

"An address near a somewhat abandoned building." Xandrix answered.

"Might be an alibi." Looking at the place, it really seems like a place used to lure your enemy into your trap.

"I'll go and check it then." Xander suggested.

"No. No one will be going anywhere near that place. Raven was once a Hara, he knows every each of us so well, he knows that Xandrix is someone who is good with computer. It's better to search more before doing anything. We have lives to protect here, not only ours, but our little sister's. Don't make hasty decisions. Inform us once you get anything." I said.

"Yeah."

"Hina will be contacting you. She will help you under Ojīchan's order." I added.

"Yeah, sure." He continued typing in his computer while the three kept looking on files and places while analyzing more the picture sent to our Bambina.

I went downstairs after that.

They're calm as usual, Amellia's drinking a cup of milk.

"Anything?" Dad asked.

"A place that might be an Alibi. Xander suggested going there by himself." I answered.

"No, definitely not." Dad and our uncles immediately disagreed.

"I know. I already said no. I'm not risking loosing anyone here." I said.

I looked at the clock, it's already past midnight.

"Amellia, are you not tired? It's already late, you won grow at that point." I jokingly said trying to ease up the tension.

"Nope, and hey, I am tall!" She even stood up and went near me which is a mistake.

She just reached my chest, not even the shoulders.

"Not fair! You're wearing that shoes!" She pouted.

I'm wearing a Clarks Bampton Rhodes Black Leather shoes together with my Navy blue Armani suit.

I wasn't able to change into something as the punishment happened as soon as I got back from a meeting.

I removed my shoes and nothing changed. I'm still taller.

"How tall even are you. It's unfair! How come all of you are so tall while I'm not! All of you are at least six feet tall."  She said sulking.

We all laughed with what she said.

"Alec, you should go change you know. You probably smell by now." She smirked.

"Oh really? That's the best you got?" I teasingly said and she just playfully glared at me.

Like what she said I did change, I also took some shower.

We then stayed awake until 4 playing board games and watching movies, then we just saw Amellia sleeping peacefully at Aldren's arms. We put her to bed with Aldren by her side in case she wakes up.

While walking down stairs the two sets of twins came running to us.

"We found something useful! And jt's urgent!" Xavier shouted then run towards the third floor stairs probably going to dad's office.

We all looked at each other for a second before running to Dad's office.
