(Y/N)'s P.O.V
Kristoff cracks the reigns as Sven runs fast through the snow, making me yelp as I hang onto the back of the front seat.
Anna was riding up front with Kristoff, and I was in the back with his items since there was no other room.
"Hang on, we like to go fast!" Kristoff warns me, and I hang on tightly with a laugh as the wind rushes through my hair.
"I like fast!" Anna starts to get comfy, placing her feet on the dashboard of his sleigh.
"Woah, woah, woah, woah! Get your feet down! This is fresh lacquer." Kristoff scolds, making me snort. "Seriously, were you raised in a barn?" Anna looks back at me in slight annoyance at being yelled at, making me grin in amusement.
I swiftly duck as he gathers spit in his mouth, spitting it out on the part Anna dirtied.
"Ugh!" Anna yelps, and I peek back up and cringe, offering my handkerchief as she wipes the saliva off her face. "No, I was raised in a castle." Anna cringes out, and Kristoff simply hums in acknowledgement, not caring.
"So, uh... Tell me," Kristoff starts, "what made the King go all ice-crazy?"
"Oh. This should be good," I snort, making Kristoff and Anna look back at him. "Tell him about how you fell in love," I dramatically pause, "... Right after meeting him."
Kristoff's mouth drops and he faces forward as Anna scoffs.
"That's not all that happened!" She huffs with an embarrassed scowl, shaking her head and focusing on Kristoff, "see, well... It was my fault. I got engaged but then he freaked out--"
"Because you just met--"
"Then he said he wouldn't bless the marriage, and--"
"Wait. You fell in love with this guy at first glance, and got engaged to him?! To someone you just met that day?" Kristoff questions in disbelief.
"Yes she sure did," I reply with a snort at his flabbergasted expression.
"Anyway! I got mad, and so he got mad, and I mentioned (Y/N) and he got madder, and then he tried to walk away and I took his glove--"
"Hang on!" Kristoff interrupts with an upset tone of disbelief, turning his body to face Anna as he looks between us. "You mean to tell me she got engaged to someone she just met that day?!" He demands from me, making Anna frown and look at me as I nod with a small, uneasy smile.
"Yep," I confirm as I slowly nod, making his eyes widen as he sputters.
Anna rolls her eyes, "yes, pay attention. But the thing is! He wore he gloves all the time, so I just thought, I dunno, maybe he has a thing about dirt! Turned out (Y/N) knew why and she never told me--"
"Didn't your parents or (Y/N) ever warn you about strangers?!"
It was quiet for a moment as I slowly glare at him suspiciously, holding up his ice-pick as Anna scoots away with a wary stare.
"Good... Point..." I mumble as he scoffs.
"... Yes, they did," Anna also mumbles, scooting further from Kristoff.
Kristoff sighs and faces forward as Anna continues, "but Hans is not a stranger!"
"... He kinda is," I point out, making her sputter and laugh bitterly and loudly. "Oh, please!" I scoff, "what's his last name?"
"... Of the Southern Isle," Anna replies as Kristoff smirks, joining the game.
"Favorite food?" He questions with a raised brow.
"Sandwiches!"
"How about his hair color?" I jokingly ask, my smile dropping as she pauses.
"... Brown?" She quietly replies, unsure as I stare at her with disbelief.
"Best friend's name?" Kristoff asks in a bored voice.
"Probably John."
"Eye color?" Kristoff demands and raises a brow.
"Dreamy," Anna sighs, swooning.
"... I give up," I laugh, sitting with my back leaning against the front seat.
"Foot size?" Kristoff continues to demand, smirking.
"Foot size doesn't matter," Anna scoffs.
"Have you had a meal with him yet?" He continues to fire questions, "what if you hate the way he eats? What if you hate the way he picks his nose?"
"Picks his nose?" Anna and I question at the same time, her in disgust and me and confusion.
"... And eats it!"
"Excuse me, sir, he is a prince!" Anna grits back sternly, appalled.
"... All men do it," Kristoff shrugs as he speaks in a casual tone, making me cringe.
"Elson doesn't, he is too... perfect to do that, " I mumble with a grimace, mostly to myself, but he heard.
"Ooh, does someone have a little crush on the King?" Kristoff asks in a singsong, snickering.
I give him a deadpan look and I turn, delivering a swift punch to his shoulder.
He yelps in pain as Anna watches with a raised brow, making me sheepishly grin before settling back in place. She looks like she wants to say something, but decides against it, focusing on Kristoff as she huffs.
"Look! It doesn't matter, it's true love," Anna continues from where we left off, making me sigh and shake my head as I remember Elson's words.
'Anna, what do you know of true love?'
What did he mean by that? He... was implying he knows more about it than she does... maybe what Anna said was-- no, never mind, shutting that down, hush.
"Doesn't sound like true love," Kristoff replies in an uncertain tone before shrugging.
"Oh! Are you some kind of love expert?" Anna dramatically scoffs.
"Ooooh, does little Kris have a love?" I tease, making him roll his eyes with a grin.
"No. And, don't call me that," he firmly replies, and I knew I wouldn't stop just to bug him. "But, uh, I have friends who are love experts," Kristoff continues in a sheepish voice.
I go to open my mouth to tease him when my eyes notice movement in the trees.
"Kris," I slowly call with concern lacing my voice, making him glance back at me in annoyance.
He was about to scold at me for calling him 'Kris' no doubt, but he stops as he notices the same movement, his expression becoming serious as his eyes dart around.
"You have friends who are love experts?" Anna sarcastically chuckles and rolls her eyes. "I'm not buying it. Right, (Y/N)?"
"Stop talking," Kristoff harshly whispers, looking around as Sven slows down to a stop with a small, concerned grunt.
Anna rolls her eyes, not noticing the danger. "No, no, no! I'd like to meet--"
"No, I mean it!" Kristoff firmly cuts off, looking around as he places a gloved hand over her mouth.
She grunts in anger and shoves his hand off, opening her mouth to speak, but I beat her to it.
"Anna!" I softly hiss, making her quickly shut her mouth with a jump.
I lean forward and stare at the tree line as Kristoff uses his lantern to look around, leaning forward next to me as he stares into the woods. I gasp as bright eyes start glowing, dozens appearing after this as the silhouettes of wolves emerge from the woods, snarling at us.
"Kris!" I yell, urging him to get us out.
"Sven, go. Go!" Kristoff yells, making Sven cry out and race off as the wolves howl and chase us.
"What are they?" Anna yelps and holds onto the sides as I scoot as close to them as possible.
"Wolves," Kristoff hangs his lantern back up, turning and feeling for something.
"What do we do?" Anna frantically asks, looking back at me.
"I got this!" Kristoff replies, still blindly feeling around.
"Wolves?!" Anna yelps in fear, her eyes wide. "What do we do?"
My eyes dart from the wolves to Kristoff, then to the supplies around me. "What do you need?!" I quickly question.
"The torch!" He quickly replies as he holds his hand out, making me nod and grab it from beside me, quickly giving it to him and he lights it. "And just-- don't fall off, and don't get eaten!" He addresses Anna, glancing back to me. "Don't fall off goes double for you, you're not very secured back here. Grab a torch and use it."
"Oh, that's great--" I sarcastically start as I grab one of the unlit torches, noticing Anna turning around to face me.
"But I wanna help!" Anna retaliates, trying to grab a torch from beside me.
"No!" Kristoff yanks her back in her seat as he faces the wolves.
I squeal and swing one of the unlit torches at one of the wolves as it lunges for me, knocking it into a tree.
"But she's helping!" Anna childishly remarks, frowning.
"Yeah, because I trust her judgement! I don't trust yours!" Kristoff yells in reply, on full alert as his eyes dart around the trees.
Anna blinks rapidly, her mouth gaping in offense. "Excuse me?!"
I groan softly at their bickering, rolling my eyes. "Guys, now is really not the time for--"
"Who marries a--" Kristoff grunts and kicks a wolf away from Anna, protecting her and moving her to his previous seat, "man she just met?!"
"... you know, yeah, we can do this now. Anna, that was very rash and kind of foolish!" I agree with Kristoff as I give her a stern glance before looking around.
"It's true love!!" Anna yells in a growl, making Kristoff and I both scream as she swings his lute at the two of us.
We both duck, and the lute strikes down a wolf that was about to get Kristoff.
"Woah..." Kristoff breathes out, staring at Anna with awe and letting his guard down.
"Kris--" my warning was cut off by a wolf grabbing his sleeve, and he was yanked off the sled.
Anna catches his torch as both us yelp and watch him.
"Christopher!" Anna yells in concern as he grabs a loose rope, holding on as the sleigh drags him and the wolves follow.
"It's Kristoff!" He yells back in annoyance before yelping as the wolves start biting at his feet, though his boots and thick pants were protecting him.
Sven groans in concern and starts to race faster, Anna and I looking for a solution.
"(Y/N), move!" Anna commands, making me scoot myself as she drags out a wrapped up sleeping bag. "Duck!!" She yells, lighting it on fire and hurling it past me and at Kristoff.
He screams and ducks, the fireball missing him barely as it strikes the wolves biting him.
"You almost set me on fire!!"
Kristoff begins climbing the rope, grabbing Anna's hand before grabbing mine, and we lift him back in the sleigh.
"But I didn't!" Anna yells back with a laugh, making me shake my head with a grin as I look ahead.
"Oh, no!" I yell, Sven groaning loudly to get our attention.
Kristoff and Anna both gasp at the sight of the huge ravine, and I look for a way out.
"Get ready to jump, Sven!" Anna shouts, Kristoff grabbing his bag of supplies and shoving it to her.
"You don't tell him what to do!" He grunts, lifting Anna up and tossing her on Sven as she yelps, "I do!"
"You ready?!" He yells, helping me into the front seat as he prepares his dagger.
"Oh, my gosh!" I yelp, shaking my head as I brace myself to jump.
"Jump, Sven!" Kristoff yells, slicing the reins as we near the cliff edge.
Sven gracefully leaps, landing on the other side as I follow after, staying on the sleigh as long as I could before doing so.
I begin to slide, but Anna grabs my hood and pulls me back as Kristoff leaps off the sleigh with a yell, dangling off the mountain when he lands.
The wolves all snarl in anger and bark, looking at us with cold eyes before fleeing.
I hear a loud explosion as we slowly inch to Kristoff, and we hear him whimper.
"Oh! But I just paid it off..."
"The pick and rope!" Anna yells as he begins to slide, and she quickly ties it and hurls it to him as he yelps and exclaims as he nearly slided off the cliff.
"Grab on!" I shout as it lands in front of him, tying the rope to Sven as we pull him up.
"Pull Sven! Pull!" Anna encourages, and we all manage to pull him up and out of danger.
He pants heavily, facing the sky as we rush to him.
Anna peeks towards the sleigh, cringing, "woah."
Kristoff groans, placing his hands over his face as he wallows.
"I-I'm sorry about your sleigh, Kristoff," I apologize, Anna rubbing her neck.
"I'll replace your sled... And everything in it," Anna adds on, but he doesn't move. "And... I understand if you don't want to help us anymore."
Anna and I look at each other as he doesn't move, and we slowly walk away.
...
Third Person P.O.V
Sven snorts and nudges Kristoff, looking after the two girls as the wander around.
"Of course I don't wanna help them!" Kristoff scoffs, moving his hand and looking at Sven. "In fact... This whole thing has ruined me for helping anyone ever again!"
Behind them, (Y/N) walks one way as Anna does the other, making (Y/N) gasp and race after her and grab her shoulders as she turns her the right way.
"They'll die on their own!" Sven makes a concerned face as Kristoff speaks for him.
"... I can live with that," Kristoff shrugs, uncaring.
"But you won't get your new sled if they're dead." Sven gives him a pointed look.
Kristoff sighs, glaring at Sven in annoyance at his reasoning.
"Sometimes, I really don't like you," Kristoff mumbles as Sven grunts in happiness. "Hold up! We're coming!"
"You are?! I mean... Sure! We'll let you tag along!" Anna nonchalantly replies, making Kristoff smile and chuckle with a shake of his head before they set out.
...
The sun was now rising, making the snow shimmer a brilliant white as they pause for a small break.
"Anna," (Y/N) calls, looking down at Arendelle.
"Arendelle!" She breathes out, Kristoff joining the two with wide eyes.
"It's completely frozen..."
"Don't worry!" (Y/N) reassures and nervously grins, "Elson will unfreeze it and everything will be okay."
Kristoff's brow raises as he looks to me. "Will he?"
"Yeah!" Anna agrees, looking towards Arendelle as she points in the direction. "Now, come on! This way to the North Mountain?"
"Heh, more like... This way," Kristoff angles her hand upward and chuckles as the two girls look up at the mountain, Anna gasping and (Y/N) groaning at the thought of climbing it.
...
"Wow..." (Y/N) breathes out, staring at the beautiful ice picture around them.
The vines dangled and had small ice drops on them that would shimmer slightly in the sun every so often, the small waterfall and lake frozen over with a gleaming frost. The trees were covered in snow, and the smell of pine entered their noses as they looked around.
Sven bounces around happily, looking up at the vines in wonder as he snorts playfully.
Kristoff smacks a nearby vine softly, smiling as he drags his hand across the others, creating a small tinkling sound as the ice drops collide.
Sven watches with amazement before grunting in excitement, shaking his antlers widly in the vines.
(Y/N) trails behind the two as they walk side by side, enraptured by the beauty around them. (Y/N) looks between them before smiling sadly, wishing Elson were here to enjoy the view with her.
"I never knew winter could be so... Beautiful," Anna breathes out as Sven walks beside (Y/N) with a goofy grin, his tongue sticking out.
"Yeah!" A voice agrees, making the two pause and look back at (Y/N), who shakes her head. They look at Sven as the voice continues before looking around. "It really is beautiful, isn't it? But... It's so white. You know, how about a little color?"
(Y/N) and the others walk ahead, trying to find the voice.
"I'm thinking about maybe some crimson, chartreuse," the voice gets closer, and Sven sniffs around.
"How about... Yellow?" (Y/N) asks in a joking tone, making the voice sputter with a laugh.
"No! Not yellow. Yellow and snow?" He shivers, slowly emerging and appearing behind (Y/N) and standing still.
She gasps and yelps, making Kristoff and Anna look back, them doing the same as the snowman stands there, unmoving.
"... Am I right?" He suddenly asks Anna as he moves, making her shriek and kick his head off and at Kristoff, who catches it.
"Hi!" The snowman greets with a small smile.
"You're creepy," Kristoff states bluntly and tosses the head to Anna.
"Is that...?" (Y/N) looks closer, trying to follow the head as Kristoff and Anna throw it between themselves.
"I don't want it!!" She yelps, throwing it back at Kristoff as the snowman yelps.
"Right back at ya!" Kristoff replies as he throws it back at her.
"Oh, please don't drop me!" the snowman pleads with concern.
"Guys! Wait!" (Y/N) tries, squealing as the body runs into her legs and stumbling back.
"Come on, it's just a head!" Kristoff laughs a bit, throwing it back to her.
"No!!" Anna yelps, catching the head.
"All right. We got off to a bad start," the snowman nervously laughs, the body turning to Anna and stumbling around.
"Ew, ew! The body!" She hurls his head at the body, knocking it down for a moment.
He sits back up with a groan, his head upside down. His eyes were blurry for a moment before he fixed them.
"Wait, what am I looking at right now?" He demands in confusion, "why are you hanging off the earth like a bat?"
"All right," (Y/N) sighs, walking forward, "here-- there we go." She fixes his head upright as Anna joins her.
"Thank you!" He grins, looking at his body.
"No problem," (Y/N) laughs, smiling at the familiar snowman.
"Now I'm perfect!"
Anna chuckles, digging around in Kristoff's bag.
"Well, almost," she replies as the snowman speaks to (Y/N) and Kristoff.
"It was like my whole life got turned upside down."
He turns just as Anna raises a carrot, and she accidentally shoves it through his head.
(Y/N) and Kristoff cringe and wince as he dizzily sways.
"Oh! Too hard! I'm sorry!" Anna yelps, "I-I was just..."
"Head rush!" The snowman groans, shaking his head.
"Are you okay?" (Y/N) asks in concern as the snowman notices his nose.
"Are you kidding me? I... Am wonderful!" He squeals, reaching for Anna, who pulls away in fear slightly. "I always wanted a nose!" He begins to speak to himself in a high-pitched voice, "it's so cute! It's like a little baby unicorn!"
Anna takes his distraction as the chance to fix it, and shoves his nose in the correct place as he exclaims.
"Oh! I love it even more!" He yells in excitement as (Y/N) laughs and kneels next to Anna, Kristoff kneeling to his other side. "Oh, all right. Let's start thing thing over. Hi, everyone. I'm Olaf. And I like warm hugs!"
(Y/N) lightly gasps, suddenly remembering why he was so familiar as Anna stares at Olaf with narrowed eyes.
"Olaf?" She quietly questions, looking at (Y/N) in confusion.
Olaf looks at the two with an unending smile, expecting a reply as he tilts his head.
"You know him," (Y/N) softly speaks and side hugs her, making her frown and think.
She suddenly gasps, realization hitting her. "That's right! Olaf!"
"And you are...?" Olaf trails off.
"Oh, I'm Anna," Anna greets with a smile.
"And I'm (Y/N)," (Y/N) adds, making Olaf gasp and squeal.
"You're her?! Ooh!!" She jumps and watches as he leaps around in glee, laughing. "I am so glad to meet you! Okay! Calming down!"
He waves his arms as he takes a deep breath, still beaming as he looks at (Y/N) with awe. Anna and (Y/N) stare at each other in confusion, Anna slowly shrugging as (Y/N) blinks owlishly.
"Who's the funky lookin' donkey over there?" Olaf questions as he recovers from his excitement, gesturing towards Sven and Kristoff.
"That's Sven," Anna introduces, Sven snorting softly.
"Uh-huh. And who's the reindeer?" Olaf asks, his eyes moving to Kristoff.
I snicker to myself, making Kristoff's scowl deepen.
Anna slowly blinks, her brows furrowing. "... Sven?"
Olaf pauses, looking between the two.
"Oh! Oh, that's... Okay. Makes things easier for me." Sven lunges and tries to bite at Olaf's carrot, making him squeal. "Aw! Look at him trying to kiss my nose! I like you too!"
"Olaf," Anna gains his attention. "Did Elson build you?"
Olaf nods with a neutral smiling expression, his arms waving lightly with the motion. "Yeah, why?"
"Do you know where he is?" (Y/N) asks as Kristoff grabs and pulls off Olaf's arm.
"Yeah, why?" He questions in the same tone.
"Can you show us the way?!" (Y/N) questions softly.
"Yeah, why?"
"How does this work?" Kristoff mumbles before yelping as Olaf slaps him, grabbing his arm with his other hand.
"Stop it, Sven!" He scolds, putting his arm back on. "I'm trying to focus here... Yeah, why?"
"I'll tell you why," Kristoff huffs, "we need Elson to bring back summer."
Olaf perks up at this, gasping. "Summer?!"
"Mm-hm," Anna nods with a smile as Olaf sighs with a blissful look
"Oh... I don't know why, but I've always loved the idea of summer and sun... And all things hot!" Olaf goes on with a sigh and a grin.
"Really? That's... Interesting," (Y/N) mumbles, rubbing her neck as she stands.
"I'm guessing you don't have much experience with heat," Kristoff replies, raising a brow.
"Nope! Oh, but sometimes I like to close my eyes... And imagine what it would be like if summer does come..." He sighs in content, picturing a grassy scene around him.
"Bees'll buzz... Kids'll blow dandelion fuzz, and I'll be doing whatever snow does in summer..." He plays with a dandelion, bees whizzing around before the scene changes to a beach.
Olaf lounges, holding a drink.
"A drink in my hand, my snow up against the burning sand!" He sets the drink down, closing the umbrella and sunbathing. "Probably getting gorgeously tanned in summer!"
It changes to Olaf in a sailboat, sailing.
"I'll finally see a summer breeze blow away a winter storm, and find out what happens to solid water when it gets warm..." He leaps in the water, his body separating before it rejoins as he dances around sand people.
"And I can't... Wait to see... What my buddies all think of me! Just imagine how much cooler I'll be in summer!" A seagull joins Olaf dancing, both twirling canes around with hats.
"Da da! Da doo, a budubududaduu..." The scene changes to Olaf holding a cup of hot cocoa in a hot tub with a snow friend.
"The hot and cold are both so intense, put 'em together it just makes sense!"
They clink glasses, and it changes to Olaf dancing with more birds.
"Ratata tata ta dudubudubabuuu..." He scats, tossing his outfit as he skips along a field. "Winter's a good time to stay in and cuddle! But put me in summer and I'll be a..."
He freezes, frowning and staring down at his reflection in the water before leaping over it with a grin.
"Happy snowman!!" Olaf grasps a picnic cloth, running and holding it like a cape. "When life gets rough I like to hold on to my dream... Relaxing in the summer sun just letting off steam..." He sits and stares up at the sky, reaching up to it.
"Oh the sky... Will be blue..." Olaf sits up with a grin, holding his feet and looking at Kristoff, (Y/N), and Anna, along with Sven. Sven was stuffing his face with a pie while the others held their favorite sandwiches. "And you guys'll be there too..."
They all look at each other in concern as he rolled down the hill, away.
"When I finally do what frozen things do in summer!"
The scene changes from Olaf to the three.
"... I'm gonna tell him," Kristoff smirks at Anna, making her gasp and hit his arm as (Y/N) watches in concern.
"Don't you dare!" She snaps at him, making him laugh as it switches back to Olaf.
"In summer!!!" He finishes, the grassy scene fading back to winter.
He grins widely, looking at the two girls.
"Well! Come on, Elson's this way! I know for a fact he'll be happy to see you, (Y/N)! Oh, this is so great!!" He wiggles his... Brows? And giggles, as if he knew something.
... Which he did.
(Y/N) looks at him in confusion as Anna goes, "ooooh~" in a teasing voice, making (Y/N) flush and stomp after Olaf as he cackles, Anna following while trying to reassure (Y/N) she was 'just joking'.
"Let's go bring back Summer!!" Olaf's voice yells, making the girls cheer.
Kristoff watches after them as Sven chases them.
"... Somebody's gotta tell him."
