On The Way To Camping

Irene's POV

History teacher enters inside the class with a cheerful mood. Students stand up and greet her singing with the same childhood rhythm, "Goooooooooooooood Moooooooooorrrrninggggggg Teacherrrrrr"

"What's wrong with everyone", I ask to Kiki.

"Jennie told me that some good news are waiting for us", she says shrugging.

"Take your seats. Dear students,I have some good news for you.

1)Did you enjoy the match last Thursday?"

"Yesssss Maaaaaam", yells everyone.

"Congratulate Taenwang for his essence has lead our college's basketball team to victory"

Students applause for him. Taenwang stands up and speaks out. "A few weeks ago I was crumbled and disappointed regarding sports. Soon Lord blessed me with a friend for whom I could stay strong. She's Irene." He glances in my direction from his bench with a genuine smile after declaring this.

What??

How did I inspire him??

Wasn't I the one who mocked him instead.?

I give him a "What do you mean" look whereas he gives me an "effusive" look . Students begin to scream with applauses glancing at both Taenwang and me.

"Silence!", orders Maam and continues speaking, "So the second good news is.... We are going on a Camping this week!!"

"YAAYYYYYYYYYYY!!!!!"

Whole classroom vibrates by the scream of over exciting students. Me and Kiki give a high five to each other.

After class Taenwang heads towards me.

"Students are shipping us", he says giggling.

"Because of YOU. IDIOT!!", I yell.

"Hey don't you find it interesting when you are shipped with someone you want?"

"Hey wait! I don't want you" I lie narrowing my eyes. "Don't you find it embarrassing when you are shipped with anyone?!", I add.

"Not at all!! In fact everything seems to be embarrassing for you", he says throwing his hands in the air.

"What was my credit behind your victory?" I ask.

"Umm... It's a secret" he walks away after winking at me.

💜💜💜In bus🚌🚌🚌

Kiki took the window seat beside me but left me when she was signalled something by Lee.

I keep waiting for her but this stupid Kiki sits beside Lee and signals me that she would come after sometimes.

Out of nowhere Taenwang stands in front of my seat and takes off his sunglasses from his eyes then furrows his amazing pair of eyebrows at me.

"Hey"

"Hi"

"I don't want to say this but you are looking cute", he says smiling.

"I'm sorry to say this but you are NOT looking handsome"

"Your mind is telling something else"

"How do you know??"

"Through Telepathy"

My heart was about to come out the moment he uttered the word "Telepathy".

I ask him with wide eyes in order to be sure, "What? Tele...??"

"Pathy"

"Telepathy?", I ask once again.

"Can't you hear inside bus??", he mocks pointing at my ears.

He somehow manages me to roll my eyes every time he speaks something bullshit to me.

"What makes you stand over here? Go and take your seat. This is a bus not basketball court", I say.

"okay.. I'm not in a mood to spoil my mood by seeing you", he says in a gesture of pride.

Though his pride couldn't last longer since driver has taken brake causing him to lose his balance. He nearly falls but catches himself leaning over me and grabs my shoulders. I close my eyes immediately.

It seems as though someone switched on the button of Doraemon's Time watch stopping the whole World other than me and him.

I can feel a slight touch of his hair on my forehead.I slowly open my eyes and realise our noses are a few inches away.His each exhalation is making my heart to quiver.My eyes reach down at his lips which seem to be soft and sweet as well. 😳

I don't know how long we stayed in this position but he pulls himself away as soon as he hears students teasing us.

"LOVE IS IN THE AIRRRRR. LALALA?"

I notice him scratching the back of his neck. They said guys scratch their neck when they are in love 🙄 or maybe I'm overthinking.silly me.

"I think I should take my see....at." Taenwang stutters.

I pass myself to the window seat and he sits beside me.

Both me and Taenwang are blushing and embarrassed at the same time.

"You are to be blamed for this embarrassment" he hisses at me.

"What have I done?", I whine.

"Is this my fault if a seductive person stays in front of me and I lose my balance?"

Seductive?!

I realise my cheeks gone red like cherry so I quickly look away from him and stare outside the window.

Taenwang's POV

This journey is long yet not boring as my first crush probably (love) is sitting beside me. None of us are speaking to each other though I'm enjoying this silence. I can smell an enchanting aroma evertime I inhale. Wonder which perfume on this planet is this much alluring that's causing my mind to blow away, taking me out of this planet. She's viewing the picturesque landscape whereas I'm staring at her. Does she even acknowledge my existence? Here I'm who cannot keep my eyes away from her for a second.

She seems to be sun kissed. Front strand of her hair turned reddish. Her face has become more enthralling because of the sunlight that fell over her.

She yawns then begins to drowse. At one stage she bangs her head with the window.

"Ouch!!", she yells glancing at me being sleepy.

Getting a glimpse from her makes my heart tingle.

I place my hand on her head and let her head rest on my shoulder supporting it using my hand. She falls asleep.
