Don’t worry; she’s out of critical condition. But she’s currently still in a coma at the hospital. She’ll be fine, Madelyn. So, don’t worry.”

Madelyn responded, “What about Mya?”

Blake said, “S-She’s fine too. She’s great!”

Madelyn breathed a sigh of relief after finding out they were fine.

Blake put away her phone and said, “Mr. Harrison, I don’t think keeping this from Madelyn is a good idea. If she finds out later, she’ll surely be mad.”

Kevin grabbed the phone on the table before standing up and said casually, “It’s not a problem. There’s nothing she can do even if we tell her. You just follow the instructions. As for the rest, you just watch your words.” After Kevin warned Blake, he left the office.

Blake watched Kevin’s back as he left. She did not feel comfortable hearing Kevin talk about Madelyn like that. She pondered, ‘Who is he to look down on Madelyn? What did she even do to him?’
