The four handsome young men announced the lucky numbers they had chosen. An uproar of envy and jealousy rose up on the scene.

When Freddie’s turn came, Hayden concentrated and looked up at the stage.

Freddie now had a considerable number of fans. As he was choosing his lucky number, a large group of young girls surrounded him with obsessive stares.

“The number I have chosen is 28.”

The young man’s clear voice echoed in the room. Checking the number in his hands, his female admirers let out sighs.

Suddenly, a child’s voice echoed through the crowd.

“It’s 28! Freddie. It’s me!”

His sweet childish voice successfully attracted everyone’s attention. The crowd automatically pushed through. A little girl in a light yellow T-shirt and blue jumpsuit jumped excitedly in place. Seeing the others make way for her, she rushed to the front and climbed onto the stage quickly. Then she threw herself into Freddie’s arms.

“I can go on a trip with Freddie!”.

“Why is she a little girl?”.

“Oops, this little girl is so adorable.”

“Lucky her.”

“God, she’s so cute.”.

Everyone was immersed in the cuteness of the little girl, but Hayden’s expression changed. Holding the hem of her dress, she ran toward the stage. “Stella, don’t make a fuss. Come down quickly.”

Stella buried herself in Freddie’s arms. “No way! I’ve won the raffle. I’m going on a trip with Freddie.”

There was another burst of polite laughter from the crowd offstage.

“Stop talking nonsense.”

Hayden frowned and took the microphone in his hands.

“I’m sorry, everyone, this is my daughter. But we have a rule that hotel staff can’t participate in this drawing, so this result doesn’t count. Let’s wait for Freddie to pick another number.”

“No way!” Stella curved her lips, unhappiness written all over her face. “I’m not a member of the hotel staff. Mom, you’ve gone too far.”

There was a commotion offstage. Everyone was arguing.

Suddenly, someone said loudly, “The girl was right, she’s not part of the staff. Let her go, it’s a great opportunity.”

“Yes.” The others echoed.

In front of the pretty girl, the fans who always competed for the love of their idols became quite modest. They all agreed that Stella should take the award.

Hayden embarrassedly explained, “Thank you all for your kindness, but rules are rules. Besides, I can’t let her go on a trip alone with Freddie. Please forget it.”

“It’s no big deal. You can go with them.” A chubby girl waved her hand and smirked, “If a mother would take her daughter on a trip with Freddie, we’d be more relieved, wouldn’t we?”

In those girls’ opinion, Hayden was the one to accompany them. Compared to a fan-girl with bad intentions, they would rather let a normal woman go with him. Besides, this woman had a daughter, so it would greatly reduce the risk of their idol being unavailable after returning from the trip.

Hearing that, Hayden didn’t know whether to laugh or cry. Who could have expected such an accident to happen at the end of the ceremony?

In the hotel lounge, Stella returned with a big smile on her face, holding a large bag of snacks from Freddie’s fans.

“Noah, look at me. I got a bunch of tasty snacks from those young ladies.”

Noah sat down on the couch and glared at her angrily as if he was looking at a traitor.

It didn’t take Stella long to realize something. She sat down next to him. “Noah, I didn’t want to do it. At first I wanted to travel with Freddie, but I didn’t know my mother would follow us, it’s just a mistake. Please don’t be mad at me.”

Even though he heard the explanation, Noah still felt upset. He typed a few lines on his new Tablet and put it on audio mode.

The mechanical voice rang out, “You like him that much? My father is much better looking than him and he’s quite wealthy.”

“Oh, that’s different. Joseph is very handsome, he suits my mom. Freddie is also handsome and he suits me better. hahaha…”.

Noah was completely speechless at Stella’s obsessive stare. He turned away and ignored her.

“Noah, what are you doing?”

Stella leaned forward and wanted to see what Noah was doing, but he turned his back to her to keep her from seeing anything. Quickly, she dialed on her phone and sent a message.

On the other end, Joseph had boarded the plane. Before he turned off his phone, he received a message from Noah.

When Hayden was dealing with Noah, he always ignored Joseph. Hence, Joseph was surprised to see a message from him, wondering if the sun rose in the west.

“[If you still don’t come back, Hayden and Stella will run off with another man].”

Reading the message, Joseph was a little confused. The next second, he remembered something. Turning to Magnus, who was standing next to him, he asked, “Did anything happen after the hotel ceremony?”

“The hotel ceremony?” Magnus was startled for a moment. Instantly, he pulled out his phone and consulted the company’s chat group. Suddenly his eyes lit up.

“Wow! Miss Downey’s daughter has won Freddie’s sweepstakes, and all of his fans have agreed that Miss Downey and her daughter should take the five-day trip to the Maldives with Freddie. What a coincidence!”.

Magnus was still amazed, but suddenly he felt the mood around him was a little low.

He turned around and could only find that Joseph’s face was shadowed for some reason. Magnus couldn’t help but shudder and swallowed his words on the tip of his tongue.

After the ceremony, Hayden checked the performance report. It looked like he had managed to win the bet he made with Joseph. The human resources department re-entered her profile, and she became a full-time permanent employee of the ST Group. When she finally received the new badge, the heart that had been in her throat for the past few months dropped back into her chest.

Hayden went straight home to pack her bags once the procedure was over.

Since she had passed the probationary period, Hayden had a week’s vacation. Which would come in handy because she would be joining the short program ‘Traveling with an Idol’.

Before leaving, Hayden patted Noah’s head and asked worriedly, “Noah, are you sure it’s okay for you to stay home alone? I’d better wait for your father to come back and hand you over to him before I leave.”

Noah shook his head solemnly. He held up the drawing board: [Dad says he has arrived at the airport. Please don’t wait for him, Hayden. Have a great time with Stella].”

Unexpectedly, Noah didn’t cling to her or refuse to let go, so Hayden was a little surprised. As he had said, there was the butler and a nanny to look after him, Hayden said no more. He hailed a cab and drove Stella to the airport.

As soon as they got out of the car at the airport, two cameramen followed them to the security checkpoint.

Freddie had arrived earlier and was surrounded by a group of fans asking for autographs, followed by another cameraman.

Seeing Hayden arrive, he hurried to hand out the last autograph to his fans and walked towards her with a smile.

Stella was very excited.

She shouted, “Freddie!” And jumped straight into his arms.

The fans on the side were thrilled to see such a tender scene. They took out their phones and took lots of pictures of them.

“Has the filming started yet?”. Hayden was a little nervous. He didn’t dare utter a word until he saw the cameramen lower the cameras as they passed through the airport security checkpoint.

“Don’t be nervous. I know who you normally are. You can take those cameramen like air.”

That was easier said than done. Being filmed all the way through, Hayden felt like she could barely walk.

And there were still another five days to go!
