Hayden had no problem with the relationship between Cleveland and Freddie. But Freddie’s fans seemed to disapprove of their love. Besides, if Freddie made his love with Cleveland public, he would be out of job and even banished.

But lately there was a lot of news about Cleveland’s love affairs with different women. Hayden was angry with him about it.

Joseph was clear about why Hayden was angry with Cleveland, but it didn’t excuse his behavior. “He’s got a screw loose.” Freddie rolled his eyes and glared at Cleveland, “Hayden, stay with me, don’t walk around or you’ll be upset when you see someone.”

“What’s wrong?” Hayden was perplexed.

Speaking of which, Freddie took another look at Cleveland and said in a bad tone, “My sister is asking you.”

Hayden felt a little helpless. He was obviously asking Freddie, not Cleveland.

But Cleveland didn’t get angry. He merely said in a flat voice, “I think it’s better to have a friend than an enemy in business. I think Miss Downey would understand me, wouldn’t you?”

“Don’t manipulate my sister. Just say you invited the two scoundrels Kingsley and Michelle.”

At the sound of those two names, Hayden and Joseph frowned almost at the same time, looking impatient.

“They’re here too?” Hayden asked with a frown.

Cleveland nodded. He looked around and didn’t find the two ‘scoundrels’. He said, “They’re here, but they don’t seem to be together.”

“What do you mean?” Hayden didn’t understand.

Kingsley was invited for the sake of the West Group. The AW Group’s power was close to the ST Group in City N. It was a great honor that the West Group was invited being a small micro-business. Michelle’s family was not wealthy, so she would never have an invitation from such a party if she had not come here with Kingsley.

Hayden was a little perplexed.

The three of them looked at Cleveland. He pushed his glasses and then said thoughtfully. “Kingsley didn’t come with his wife, but with an anchorwoman from our company. And his wife came with his older brother, that’s interesting.”
