Suddenly, Andreaâs face turned red. âNo⦠no. I⦠miss, Iâm going to get you a pizza.â
âI didnât order pizza!â Benjamin yelled at her back.
âMy treat.â Andrea ran into the cookâs house.
âYouâre crazy.â
With an inexplicable face, Benjamin lifted his head, to see Hayden looking at him expressively.
âSister, whatâs the matter, is there something on my face?â
âNo, but thereâs a man in that girlâs heart.â
âWhat?â
Looking at Benjaminâs face full of bewilderment, Hayden was silent for a while, suddenly she approached him and asked.
âBenjamin, does that girl like you and you donât know it?â.
âWhat?â With wide eyes, Benjamin stared at Hayden and said seriously, âDonât joke about it, thereâs no way she likes me.â
Hayden was confused by what he said.
âWhatâs the big deal? Sheâs pretty and I think sheâd be a good match for you.â
âIt has nothing to do with her looks, sheâs a little weird.â The rejection could be read in Benjaminâs expression. Freaking out, he asked, âSis, do you know what career she majors in?â.
âWhich one? Nursing? Computer Science?â: Hayden only knew that there were few majors for girls at the university where Benjamin studied.
âNo!â Benjamin gasped a little gasp at the thought of his major, âDo you know the Blue Eagle department at our university?â.
âBlue Eagle department?â. Hayden hesitated and replied, âI heard itâs a department that trains special talents for the military.â
âYes.â Benjamin nodded earnestly, âThese special talents can be directly identified as special soldiers, these will be transported to the border and battlefield in the future. They are strictly controlled and a love relationship is against the rules. She volunteered to participate in the evaluation and enrolled in the Blue Eagle Department, so it is impossible for her to fall in love with someone.â
âYou mean that girl belongs in the Blue Eagle Department?â.
Seeing Benjamin nod, Hayden still felt unbelievable.
That girl looked thin and petite, she gave the impression of being a normal, naive girl. No one would associate her with the special forces.
âSince she enlisted, she set a record for marksmanship, and now no one beats her mark. Plus, she can beat ten trained guys unarmed. Sheâs a freak in the training yard and almost all her opponents get hurt while fighting her. She looks thin and small, but in reality she is tough and strong.â
From Benjaminâs expression, Hayden could tell he didnât like this girl.
But she became more curious.
âWhat kind of girl do you like, how about I introduce you to a girl? A lot of girls at the hotel liked you. If you donât mind the age difference, there are many pretty girls with good temperament.â
âI donât mind the age difference.â
Benjamin leaned against the back of his chair, thinking, but deliberately avoided Haydenâs gaze. In a lower and lower voice, he said, âI like a girl who is kind to family, polite to strangers, but hard on enemies. Good-hearted, but not obedient, stubborn but very gentle.â
âIs there any girl like that?â Hayden felt confused.
âYes. And she takes great care of me by peeling me apples, buying me snacks and worrying about my daily lifeâ¦â.
Hayden stared at Benjamin for a moment, and asked seriously.
âAre you talking about your mother?
