“About the lawyer?”.

“How do you know?” Hayden was surprised.

“I heard you’re back with Joseph.” Her voice was flat, “So I guess we could drop the prosecution for now.”

“I can’t have any secrets from you.” Hayden felt a little uncomfortable, “But this time I really don’t have a choice. I don’t want him to find out about my relationship with Noah yet. So that will be it, we can talk about the rest later.”
