The next day was Friday. Benjamin took the job of picking up and dropping Stella off from Hayden’s hands when they were having breakfast.

“Consider it like I’m paying rent to stay here. I’m afraid I’ll have to stay with you for a while.”

Hayden handed her a bowl of oatmeal. “You can count on me for the rest of your life if you want. After all, I was the one who beat you. But you’ve still helped me a lot, stay here in peace and quiet and keep looking into the matter of your identity when you’re free.”

When they talked about the matter of his identity, Hayden asked him, “By the way, how are you doing with checking the Megacenter of Higher Education schools, how many do you have left to check?”

Benjamin froze for a moment and looked down to hide the melancholy in his eyes, “There aren’t many left, there are only five or six schools left. Two of the schools are normal universities. That way it’s easier to check.”

“Then I’ll go with you if I have time during this weekend.”

“No need, I can go by myself. You can do your own thing.” Benjamin raised his head. His expression returned to normal.

Campbell averted his gaze and said sheepishly. “Yes, I know.”

As Campbell left, Hayden glanced toward the door.

“No need.” Benjamin looked at him. A commanding smile appeared on his boyish face. “I’m staying at Hayden’s now and living quite well. Thank you for your kindness.”

“In a way that you mislead her about your identity?”. Joseph’s expression turned even colder, “I think the police station is a more suitable place for you to stay.”

“Considering that you are now being watched every minute of the whole day, do you think sending me to the police station will do you any good?”. Benjamin was calm as he spoke his words.

If he gets cornered, no one can know what he’ll do.” Benjamin’s tone turned serious, “I don’t care about your family’s infighting. However, if it involves Hayden, I won’t ignore what happens.”
