Hayden Downey was startled, “The ST Group?”

“Yes.” Dante Burke turned around and wrote on the small whiteboard where he was doing the design intro, “As the ST Group clothing company scandal was uncovered in the early years, their reputation was destroyed and the clothing company was liquidated in bankruptcy. Then, they wanted to get involved in the clothing industry again, but due to the impact of the previous damage, they could only christen the company with a name unrelated to the ST Group.”

But Hayden would never tolerate any wrongdoing. So he immediately instructed his assistant to have the commercial lawyer send a letter to the few companies involved in the plagiarism, as well as to Yi-Pai Clothing.

On Friday night, Hayden had a flight to S-Town to attend a business banquet.

He was very clear about the reason for his attendance. Among the banquet attendees was Joann Group’s Eastern China General Manager. He wanted to customize a batch of uniforms for the staff, and he was in charge of it. If he could win the negotiation, it would be a hundred million order, and this would be very helpful for Green Lemon Clothing to expand the market in the initial phase.

At the banquet, there were many elites from the garment industry of S City and N City.

Hayden was introduced by the editor-in-chief of ‘VV’ magazine, Edwina Perez, to join this party. It was Edison who introduced Edwina to Hayden before he left N City.

“My dear Violet, why are you here alone-is no one accompanying you?” A man’s voice came from beside her.

Violet Kidman turned and looked at him.

Samuel Shawn, the famous ladies’ man from S-town, had been chasing Violet for more than two years. He was willing to spend money on her, but he used to have a lot of women around him, and Violet liked Joseph back then.

So he didn’t consider him at all.

Just a pastime during her boredom.

And he showed up when Violet was bored. It was he who invited her to the banquet today. Violet had just finished shooting a commercial in City S. She had nothing to do, so she came.

“Yes.” Violet smiled, “Someone invited me as his date. The party had just started, she left me here alone and went off to flirt with others. So she was unaccompanied?”

“Who’s the blind man, could there be anyone prettier than Violet in this banquet hall?”. Samuel’s words were so sweet, they could even fool him himself.

Violet laughed and then pointed her finger, “Over there. I think that one over there looks good. Compared to me, she’s head to head.”

“How is that possible?” Samuel took a casual glance, and as soon as he saw Hayden, his eyes were riveted on her.

If Violet was described as icy, the woman there wearing a burgundy dress was definitely fiery. With long wavy hair spreading over her shoulders and the mature charm of a young woman with a sense of innocence as well.

Who was this beauty?

Samuel thought in his heart that she would probably be a young mistress brought in by some boss.

“She’s captivating, isn’t she, Mr. Shawn?”. Violet quipped aside, with a somber air, “If you like her, it shouldn’t be a problem for you to finish her off using your charm, should it?”

Samuel came to and shook his head, “Forget it, I’m not going to play with fire to cow the lion in his den. He’s the CEO of the Joann Group, Bowen, how dare I mess with the woman he’s with.”

“Impossible.” Violet feigned bewilderment, “That woman’s name is Hayden Downey. I met her, she’s here with VV’s editor-in-chief, Edwina. It seems Edwina is introducing you to Mr. Bowen. I’m afraid Mr. Wright and she don’t even know each other.”

“Really? A business? What kind of business?”

“A clothing company that just opened. Hayden Downey is Joseph Beckham’s ex-girlfriend and started her own company after their breakup. She seems to have a lot of connections, and she’s pretty good for you.”

Samuel was pleased to hear this, and couldn’t help but look at Hayden again, “Did you say she’s Joseph’s ex-girlfriend? Aren’t you too? Are you jealous of meeting your rival in love? Do you want me to vent your anger?”

Samuel preferred to be held in high esteem. He was delighted when Violet said this, “Don’t worry. You think a lot of me and I would surely vent your anger as well as enjoy it too.”
