Chapter 343
âAsking Frank for help?â
I wasnât sure if it was my pessimism, but given his obsession with Lily, I would rather trust Madam Shaw just a little more.
Even though he always thought that Lily wasnât the right person they were looking for, he wouldnât just stand by and watch her die, even if there was only a one in a thousand chance. He was not the type to be
indecisive.
Sacrificing me was actually predictable.
Bang-
To my surprise, there was no argument from outside, just a loud crash as the door was kicked open.
Frank exuded a cold aura.
To my astonishment, he strode in, quickly untied the ropes binding me, and tore the tape off my mouth with trembling hands. âCharlotte, how could you be so stupid again!â
ââ¦â
âEnough, donât talk. You look awful.â
Once he confirmed that I hadnât been drawn of blood yet, his expression softened slightly, though he still looked displeased. âIâll take you to see a doctor.â
âFrank!â
Bethany, momentarily startled by his presence, quickly recovered and gritted her teeth. âNo matter what you say today, youâre not taking her away!â
He ignored her.
He bent down, intending to pick me up and leave.
âFrank!â
Mrs. Shaw ordered the bodyguards to block the door. âThis time, I canât let you have your way.â
Frankâs eyes were clouded with anger. He held my scratching hands, gently rubbing the rashes to alleviate my discomfort.
His usually indifferent face was cold and mocking as he said, âHave you forgotten? This is the Smith familyâs hospital. Get your people out of my way.â
âYou can leave, but Charlotte canât,â Mrs. Shaw insisted.
âThen let your people beat me to death. If they canât, Iâm taking her with me.â
Frankâs eyes were filled with anger as he sneered. âIf youâre going to act, do it quickly, Donât delay me taking her to see a doctor.â
The Shaw family dared not act.

Chapter 343
Having already offended the RF Group, if they clashed with the Smith family as well, the Shaw family might soon disappear from Jeswood.
Madam Shaw, both anxious and furious, hesitated for a moment before speaking. âLet Frank and Charlotte go!â
âGrandma!â
Seeing this, Bethany rushed to the door. âIf you dislike me, fine, but do you not care about your own granddaughter?!â
Madam Shaw, exhausted from worrying about Lilyâs blood source, was visibly tired. âCanât you see Charlotteâs condition? If she gets blood drawn now, she might not survive.â
Bethany sneered. âSheâs just an outsider. How can her life compare to my sisterâs?â
âI know my granddaughter.â
Madam Shaw, leaning on a servant for support, managed to stand. âSheâs always been kindâhearted. If her life is taken from someone else, she will live with guilt and suffering for the rest of her life.â
âMom, youâre talking about when she was a child!â
Mrs. Shaw seemed desperate. âDo you know how Lily feels now? Go ask her if sheâs willing to die!â
âAnd have you asked Charlotte? Just because she wasnât born into the Shaw family doesnât mean she deserves to die!â Madam Shaw held her ground.
But I could see hesitation on her face.
Indeed.
Anyone would hesitate when it came to family versus outsiders.
If everyone had principles and rationality, illegal organ trades wouldnât exist.
Bethany suddenly fixed her gaze on Frank. âAnd you? Frank, my sister is the person you waited over 20 years for. Are you really going to let her die for Charlotte⦠!â
She was grabbed by the neck by Frank!
Frank looked down from above, his lips curving into a wicked smile. âI remember your blood type matches, doesnât it?â
Suddenly, terror appeared in Bethanyâs eyes. âI canât⦠Iâm too thin, I donât meet the weight requirement for blood donationâ¦â
Frank glanced at the medical staff and coldly asked, âWill it kill her?â
âMr. Smith, if the blood volume is controlled, it wonât.â
