Jane smiled. “Why keep something my ex–husband gave me? It’s better to convert it to cash than to hold onto it.”

lan sounded as though he was choked, coughing violently, accompanied by a crisp noise.

I couldn’t tell if something had been dropped or if someone was angry.

lan forced himself to speak. “Yes, that’s right. We’ve currently suspended the acquisition of shares. My advice is to hold onto the shares. Within three months, their value will surpass even the peak of the Frost Group!”

Jane was skeptical, “Can they really increase so much in such a short time?”

“Definitely, and possibly even more.”

lan gave a very firm reply. “Please persuade Ms. Wilson not to sell them, no matter who comes to buy

them.”

“Got it, I understand.”

Jane’s eyes lit up, and she expressed her gratitude with some flattering words before hanging up.

She looked doubtful. “Don’t you think he might be exaggerating?”

I shook my head. ” Doesn’t seem like it.”

For the RF Group to take over this mess, meant that they were confident in solving the matter.

After all, Frost Group was only lacking in funds. With funding, it could get back on track.

But why would lan be so kind, not only advising me not to sell my shares but also giving repeated warnings?

It was a bit odd.

It was like giving me money, which was unusual for a businessman. It seemed overly kind.

After completing the spring collection design with Austin, the custom designs for Madam Smith and Madam Shaw were also successfully wrapped up.

After working non–stop for two weeks, I finally had a chance to rest.

That day, I managed to sleep in and wake up to an alarm. Before I had a chance to eat breakfast, I received a call from Jane.

“Charlotte, you can’t rest today.”

“What happened?” I asked as I poured myself a glass of water.

“The RF Group suddenly notified me that their owner has become available recently and wants to inspect the companies where the RF Group has invested locally.”

“We’re the first.”

“Inspect?”

I was momentarily stunned. “An inspection now?”

With the end of the year approaching, all work was nearing completion. An inspection at this time could only mean a pointless trip.

Jane also felt helpless. “Yes, it is what it is… You’d better come quickly.” –

Dressed in a black tailored suit, handing his coat to his assistant, his every move exuded an air of natural authority, dignified and cold.
