*I get in the car with Summer and I don't say anything until we see her skateboarding down the road as Summer slows down and sticks her head out the window*

SUMMER: Nice kick flip.

*She says as Honey looks shocked and happy*

AT THE GIBSON'S HOUSE

HONEY: You guys have to see my deck collection.

*She says walking in the house as we walk in after her*

HONEY: Honestly, the amount of gold people dump in hard rubbish is truly astounding.

*We walk in the kitchen and see Ari and Wren making out as Honey sighs*

HONEY: They do this all the time. It's kind of gross.

*Wren laughs*

WREN: Sorry, Honey.

HONEY: Just keep walking.

JADE: Wait one second, Honey, Summer has something she wants to say to Wren.

SUMMER: Um, I did want to say my bad for crashing your final.

WREN: Oh. Please, don't worry about it. Yeah, comp surfings all about dealing with the unexpected. Like when someone steals your wax before a final.

*She says looking up at Ari as I smile at the 2*

ARI: Right, yeah. That's actually how we met. We were at a comp and...um she accidentally nicked my wax.

WREN: Yeah, "accidentally". Boys, right?

SUMMER: Right.

WREN: He's just the best. You know?

HONEY: Right, guys let's go.

*We follow Honey into her room as I smile at Wren and Ari*

*Ari says to Marlon walking up who just turned his phone off clearly looking stressed as they do a side hug thing (😭) as Poppy walks up and goes to where every one else is still on her phone*

ARI: You hungry?

*Ari says to Marlon as he nods and they walk somewhere else*

POPPY: Have you guys heard anything?

JADE: No but it's seriously stressing me out.

*I say shaking one of my legs while sitting next to Bodhi*

POPPY: It's like, just name the State team already!

*I hear 2 familiar voices as I look over*

BAXTER: Oi, stop pushing me.

WREN: You're pushing me.

*They both push each other a little as I slightly laugh and smile at both of them as Baxter laughs at Wren*

SUMMER: Wait, I know that guy

JADE: Summer, he's literally the guy that helped you. He told me by the way. And he's Wrens brother.

BODHI: Yeah, he's a pyro, so you guys should get along.

*I laugh as I look back over to see Wren hugging Ari and Bax standing near them*

SUMMER: Excuse me?

BODHI: Apparently after Nationals last year at Carvers Bay,

*I zone out to what Bodhi was saying because I notice him staring at Summer as I get a jealous feeling and I walk inside to grab a water*

BODHI: Baxter burnt down the Boardriders Clubhouse.

POPPY: Yeah, and he got kicked off the Queensland team and they got moved down here.

BODHI: Pretty rough for Wren.

*As I'm inside I hear the door open to see Baxter*

BAXTER: I thought we'd see each other again, America.

JADE: Mm-hm

*I take a sip of my drink and he takes it and takes a sip*

JADE: Funny.

BAXTER: Why are you so mad?

JADE: I'm stressed.

*Baxter walks closer to me and leans on the counter*

BAXTER: You crushed it at tryouts. You're definitely on the team.

JADE: Thanks Bax, anyway do you like Summer?

BAXTER: Uh what?

JADE: Sorry, I just saw you staring at her so I just assume-

BAXTER: A little.

JADE: Oh okay, well I'm gonna go back outside.

*I grab my water and smile at him as I walk back outside*

SUMMER: Well he's super helpful.

JADE: Hey I'm back. What did I miss?

*I say sitting back down on the table next to Bodhi*

BODHI: Bax burnt down the Boardriders Clubhouse and got kicked off the Queensland team and now they're here.

JADE: Oh wow.

HONEY: Also, Wrens a litterer.

JADE: What??

*Poppy holds onto the top of her chair and leans closer to Honey to hear what she's saying and we all turn our attention to Honey*

HONEY: Last November, Tuesday afternoon, outside Farouks Fish n Chips, she threw a sauce container at the bin, It missed, went into the gutter... She didn't even do anything. She just left it there.

BODHI: What?!!

*Me and Summer's jaw drop and we look at each other*

HONEY: That was all I needed to know.

JADE: I don't know about you Summer, but Honeys the real reason I came back.

SUMMER: Oh 100%.

*Everyone laughs and I notice Bax looking at Summer again and I just look away.*

*Were all watching the video of Ari and Summer dancing when they were way younger and everyone's laughing accept Wren*

POPPY: Summer is that actually you and Ari?

MARGOT: This is back when you took directions.

SUMMER: Not really! I was the choreographer.

ARI: Oh, Mum!

ABBIE (ARIS MOM): Look at your little shorts!

*She says while laughing as Ari also says no while laughing*

ARI: No!

JADE: Who knew you had moves, Ari?

*I say laughing a bit as Summer laughs and puts her arm on Aris shoulder and Wren smiles at the video and looks over at Summer and Ari and gets a little jealous as she sees Summer laughing with Ari*

ABBIE: Aw, they're so little!

*Everyones phone rings as the video is still playing*

JADE: Guys, is this it?

*I say looking at everyone and then back at Bax who's sitting at a different table and I look back to everyone and quickly pull out my phone*
