2. Do you remember?

P/N: I wrote this poem for my bestfriend. She is the purest soul I have ever encountered in my life. As this is my first poetry book, this poem has to be here. This was basically supposed to be the first in this book but I made a tiny mistake. I hope you guys like it though. Its just too important to me. She has always been there. I want to do the same. I wrote this poem almost a year back on her birthday. This is our little story. This is for you Z ;) I will always love you...

That day was one of the best in my life,

Hadn't found anyone like you in a while.

Do you remember when we ordered ice-cream?

We were all on the call, felt like a dream

That day was one of the best in my life,

Never found one who had such pure desire

Do you remember we used to find empty classes?

To sing our favorite songs and shut the window glasses.

Those days were one of the best of my life,

Never had a good friend like you in my life.

Do you remember the last day of our exam?

It was raining and I made you a friendship band.

That day was full of cheers,

You're a good person, it was clear.

Do you remember our first little fight?

When I told you, before I'd never been treated right.

Well, we talked it through well;

Made me realize you're my best friend.

That day wasn't the best in my life,

But it wasn't the worst in a while.

Do you remember, on the result day?

When we talked, I tried to get your mind away.

You my dear, dear best friend

Remember our friendship, will never ever end.
