Funny how are beloveds die and as much as we don't want them to leave,
we bury them rather quickly very deep
We just want that body gone that reeks
Of rotten flesh maybe or of something unseen
We move on as if nothing happened and live our lives in peace
Forgetting one day we'll be just as them 6 feet under, too deep
Then we end up the same, gone forever
And someone else this time cries and mourns
They won't wait for our body to rote
Quick in getting rid of it, simply or maybe hardly but moving on
