The boarding school^^

"Hey kid, get up." I felt a tap on my arm.
"Mmmmnnn." I shook the hand off of me. Who dares to disturb my dreamless sleep, it was peaceful and quiet.
"Kid, it's time to get off of the plane." I opened my eyes and quickly shot up.
"O-Oh Thanks." The man that woke me up walked off of the plane.
I sighed and did so myself, not exited about what was to come. I was the last one off of the plane and the flight attended was overly friendly. Almost like she was made up of candy floss.
"Have an amazing day sir, it was a pleasure having you!" Well guess what I wasn't going to have an amazing day. In fact I'm going to have a horrible day thank you very much!
Even though that's what I wanted to say I held back the urge. I just nodded my head and smiled.
When I got into the airport I saw a refined lady holding up a sign with my name on it. I assumed it was for me and walked over to her.
"Theodore? Theodore Alder?" The lady looked to be in her mid seventies and she had a French accent. She had grayish black hair tied up into a tight bun. She was wearing thick eyeliner that didn't look good on her saggy eyelids, and she was wearing bright red lipstick. Her outfit consisted of a pencil skirt and a black floral blouse.
"Um y-yes that's me." She smiled and put down the sign, throwing it away in the nearest trash can.
"Good, we're running late let's go." Well nice to meet you too. I'm doing horrible thanks for asking, how are you doing?
I followed behind her and walked out of the airport into a black fancy van. She got into the passenger seat, and motioned for me to get into the back, So I did.
The driver looked like he was pretty old, just young enough to still be able to drive without hitting every mail box though.
"So Theodore, are you exited for this amazing new opportunity?" Hah amazing, that's funny.
"Um... sure." I knew I kind of sounded rude but I wasn't good at covering my emotions. She didn't seem to notice anyways though. She's probably one of those people that ask you questions but don't actually listen to your answer.
"That's good, so your parents already told me a lot about you. Don't worry you will come out of here in a couple of years a refined young man." I just looked out the window, nodding my head.
"You'll Just love the other boys, they're all so polite." She pauses for a second, I assume waiting for me to answer, but why say anything when one, I have nothing to say other than heck no and jump out of the car catching the next flight back. Also she won't even listen to my answer in the first place!
"So we have eight hours in the school day. Before everything starts we eat breakfast in the dining hall. First hour is bible study. Second hour is based on the arts. What type varies depending on the day. We could either be learning piano or sculpting." The day already seemed boring.
"Third hour is language. We work on different languages depending on the year. This year is English because most of the boys can't speak too much of it but they are trying! I assume you will help the with their studies as you are fluent." I nodded my head again, did I even have s choice?
"Fourth hour will be lunch which will too be in the dining hall. Then after lunch you will go back to the dorms or outside for the fifth hour to study or do something productive. Then sixth hour is etiquette. Seventh is math and eighth is physical education ." I held in a long sigh. This school day was so long, and if I get too bored I easily slip into little space. What am I supposed to do then. I need nap time!
"After that we will have dinner in the dining hall than you will go back to your dorms, and lights off are at 11:00." I nodded my head for the millionth time so far. I think my neck was starting to cramp up.
We pulled up to a big, no gigantic school. There were student outside in uniforms. Sitting down and reading. They looked so generic, nothing special about them. Almost like clones of each other. They all had the same hair style, and they all had the same stuck up look on their faces.
"It is currently the free fifth hour, and it just started so we have time to take you to your room before your next class." A middle aged man came up to the lady. He had his hair slicked back like every other student and or person in general here and he was wearing a suit.
"This is Edwin, he will take you to your room. I have some other business to attend to." Edwin looked worn out. His eyes were adorned with dark rings under them. In general he looked tired and dull.
"Nice meeting you, until we meet again." She walked away quickly, her heels tapping annoyingly on the concrete.
Edwin looked at me and then started walking, he walked fast and I was quite short so I had to basically jog to keep up with him.
We walked into the doors and many students seemed to look at me weirdly. It was only then that I realised I still had Callum's clothes on. His oversized shirt and his baggy gym shorts. I felt my cheeks suddenly heat up. I could feel their judging glares burn holes into me.
We took a left then we walked straight. Then we went up stairs and took a right. We walked straight again and then took another left. Two doors down the hallway Edwin stopped, knocking on the door and then opening it. He walked in and motioned me to follow.
There were two other boys in there. One had brown-black hair slicked back in the same way as everyone else. He had brown eyes and really thick eyebrows. He was kinda scary. The other one had light brown hair and the same hairstyle with light brown eyes with greenish specks in them.
They both looked at me uninterested. I smiled at them and did another wave but eyebrows just rolled his eyes, and the other one just stared at me.
"Um so yeah, this is your room. I'll leave you guys to get to know each other." Edwin patted me on the back and scurried out of the room, closing the door behind him.
I saw that there was only one bed open, so I sat on that one, I looked at them and they looked at me. I didn't really know French like really at all, but I searched through my mind trying to compose a sentence even a word.
"Ummm Bonjour.... mon nom est Theo." I mentally patted myself on the back because I actually figured out something.
They looked at me and then at each other. I started to scratch my arm again out of nervousness. How am I supposed to survive here?
"Comment mignon qu'il essaie de nous parler. Qu'est-ce que vous supposez que nous n ?" (Oh how cute he's trying to talk to us. What do you suppose we do?) Eyebrows said to the other, the other one shrugged and just kept staring holes into my face.
I tried to form more sentences in my head but I just couldn't. I kept looking between them but just ended up looking down at the ground in fear and nervousness.
It was complete silence in the room until there was a knock at the door. Edwin came back in with a uniform and some hair gel. He handed the uniform to me.
"Gel your hair like theirs. It's the dress code and the kind of hairstyle everyone needs to have." I eyed the hair gel. Last time I played with hair gel it was a mess and I looked like I belonged in Dragon Ball Z.
When Edwin walked out I followed behind him, looking for the bathroom I could get dressed in.
"Mr Edwin?" He turned around to look at me.
"Where's the bathroom?"
"Oh um, over there sir." I looked at him confused. Sir? He's much older than me why is he calling me sir? I'm not his boss nor his superior.
"Just call me Theo." He smiled at me and nodded his head.
"Oh ok, Theo." I smiled back at him.
"And you can just call me Edwin, I mean everyone else does even if it isn't in the nicest way." What does he mean not in the nicest way?
"Hm? What do you mean?"
"Well you see the students here are quite stuck up and they feel entitled. But as their servant, basically I put up with them, attending them. Their every need." I frowned why are people like that?
"Well don't worry Edwin, I think we're gonna be good friends." I smiled up at Edwin and he smiled back at me.
"I think so too sir- I mean Theo."
"Now, about the hairstyle." I frowned down at the gel in my hand.
"I know really boring, but in this school they try to make everyone mindless robots." I nod my head and Edwin walked me to the bathroom. When we got in there I changed in a stall and came out when I was done. Edwin straightened up my uniform for me, making sure everything was perfect.
"You see, in this school there are penalties. If your uniform isn't up to code, penalty. If your hair isn't stiff and back with gel. Penalty." I whined from frustration.
"How am I supposed to make it here then? I can't even speak French!" I felt my eyes start to prick with tears.
"Don't cry don't cry! Guess what I'll help you with French!" I looked at Edwin with wide eyes.
"Really?" He nodded his head. Opening the fresh container of gel, putting his hand in it, ruining the smooth untouched top. He ran his hands through my hair, slicking it back just like everyone else's in this school.
When he was done I looked in the mirror. I stared at myself for a good minute before I looked at Edwin.
"I look... boring as heck." Edwin nodded his head.
"I know. Everyone here does." I pouted and crossed my arms yawning.
I was really tired and all I wanted to do was lay down and go to sleep. I imagined my fluffy penguin and started slipping into little space. No matter how hard I fought it back. I looked up at Edwin and he looked confused.
"You have a weird expression on your face. It's almost like your pupils got bigger." I pouted again.
"I'm tiwedddd!!" Edwin looked so confused at this point.
"Umm, it's almost time for sixth hour so.. you can't really go to sleep." I started to cry, and Edwin looked panicked.
"What's happening, what's happening." He more so said that to himself than me.
"Edwin doesn't know how to take care of Theoooooo!" I cried more and he covered my mouth, trying to quiet me down.
"Edwin dowsent know Theo is a wittttllleee!" A look of realisation washed over his face.
"I know what that is! My roommate back in the states was a caretaker I think. Ummm what to do..." He talked to himself again.
He pulled me into a hug, and we stood there until I calmed down. He rubbed my back and coed.
"Please go back into big space. Please, you have to go to class soon." I was really trying my best to go back into big space, I really was. We had to be sitting there in that position for ten minutes. The whole time I was fighting my little self, fighting the urge to regress even farther back to the age of three.
For a while I thought that my little self would win. I mean considering the situation big me kinda wanted little me to win. Big me needed time to rest. Big me was worn out, big me just wanted to be pushed into the back of my mind and collect dust, not seeing the light of day. But surprisingly big me won the fight. Pushing little me back no matter how hard I didn't really want to. It was mentally tiring to do so too.
"I'm back..." My voice was strained and tired and my eyes were puffy from crying.
"Thank goodness." Edwin fixed my uniform and touched up my hair with more sticky gel.
"Because you my good man, have class to go to." I let out a long groan, not exited at all. I mean it's my first day here can't I just take the day off and start tomorrow?
"Here goes nothing."

Little rule: Don't skip nap time, it backfires in the end.
