Callum's POV:
"Daddy! Daddy, look at me!" I quickly stood up, nervous as my baby was at the top of a high up slide.
I only took my eyes off of him for a minute, and he zoomed to a spot he knows I wouldn't let him go to.
"Baby, you know you're not supposed to be up there!" I quickly walked towards the slide, about to climb up it. I used a stern voice and gave him my best daddy look, knowing he was in deep little space.
"You can't catch mes daddy!" He then started to run towards the slide, and jumped, sliding down. It would've been a smooth slide, other than him hitting his head on the way.
A second later I hear wailing, and I quickly ran to him, scooping him up in my arms. Note to self, never take him to this park again, too dangerous.
"Aww shh, it's ok baby, daddy's here it's ok." I rocked him back and fourth, kissing his head.
It took a while for him to calm down, and when he did I set him down gently. He looked down at his feet, knowing he did what he wasn't supposed to.
"Baby.." He looked up at me, and started to cry again.
"I sowwy daddy! I did bad! I did bad! I was bad boy!" He hugged me tightly, crying into my shirt. I rubbed his back, and gently pulled him away.
"You really scared me baby, please don't do that again ok?" He nodded, wiping his eyes.
"I sowwy daddy.." I picked him up, and kissed his cheek.
"It's ok baby, I'm glad you didn't get really hurt." He put his head on my shoulder, still sniffling a bit.
"How about this," he lifted his head and looked at me. "How about we go get some ice cream, and then we can go to the mall and you can pick out a toy and some outfits hm?"
He smiled wide and nodded his head.
"Use words baby."
"Tank you daddy! Ish gonna be funs!" I could tell he slipped a little bit further into little space and I chuckled.
I set him down and offered my hand, he quickly grabbed it and we started walking to the ice cream parlor. It wasn't a long walk, and it would help get some of his hyper- ness out anyways.
As we were walking he seemed deep in thought and his face went dark. I could see his eyes get teary, and he stopped right in his tracks.
"What's wrong baby?" He pointed in front of him to a man, this particular man was wearing an all white suit. I know who it reminded him of.
"Hey baby, it's ok, that's not him. It's ok." He started shaking as the man started walking closer. The man looked nothing like the scum that hurt my baby, but it was a close enough resemblance of attire to scare him.
"Hey, baby it's ok." I pulled him to the side of the side walk, holding him close. I knew he wouldn't walk until the white suited man passed.
The dressed up man was on his phone, not even paying attention, but when he passed us he gave us a friendly smile. The universal hello when you pass someone on the street.
This set little Theo off. He was shaking uncontrollably, and I moved my hand down to his bottom to pick him up, when I realized he was wet. He wet himself. He started crying, and I quickly tried to console him.
"Hey, it's ok baby. It's over, look at daddy. It's ok, I'm here. It's ok." He wrapped his arms around me and started sobbing.
No one else seemed to notice that my baby wet himself, and I'd like to keep it that way, so he wouldn't get embarrassed.
I quickly walked with him into a nearby corner store, that sold thrifted clothes. The store clerk greeted us, and I asked for where the bathroom is.
"Oh, it's over there sir." The woman took note of my crying baby, and gave me a slight smile.
I led Theo to the bathroom, and undressed him. He stopped crying and was sniffling and wiping his eyes.
"I'll be right back baby, I'm gonna get you some clothes ok?" He shook his head and grabbed onto my shirt.
"Don't go dada.." He whispered so quietly, if I wasn't right in front of him I wouldn't have been able to hear.
"It's ok baby, I'll be back in not even five minutes, it's gonna be ok." I got out my phone and gave it to him, turning on subway surfers.
"Here play this, and I'll be right back." He nodded and started playing, I smiled and quickly opened the curtain and closed just as quick so no one could see inside.
Now all I have to do is look for something for him to wear. Easier said than done.
I started browsing the racks, looking for something that he would like. I was having no luck.
"Um, sir?" I turned around to see the woman that greeted us.
"Is He by chance, a little?" I looked at her for any hint showing that she didn't know what she was taking about.
"Why..?" I said wearily, not wanting to say anything I'll regret.
"I was just wondering, his clothes, and the way he hung onto you. And I heard him whisper daddy to himself when you both walked in.." She had a kind smile on her face, and I felt like I could trust her.
"Yes, He is." She nodded, smiling a bit more.
"May I ask, what's wrong?"
"He got scared and wet himself." I looked towards the dressing room quickly, and then back to her. She must've seen my worried expression.
"Don't worry, I have my own little. She wets sometimes too." I let out a breath of relief knowing that she may be able to help me.
"I'm just trying to find something to change him into." She nodded.
"I can help, my little is quite the Tom boy, so I can let you borrow some of her clothes." I nodded, grateful.
She led me to the back of the counter and handed me a pair of overall shorts, with a dinosaur on the front. She then handed me a green short sleeved shirt for under it, and an adult diaper with some wipes.
"I'm assuming he hasn't worn diapers before?" I nodded, at least not with me he hasn't.
"I suggest you buy some, and get him comfortable with using them."
"I think I will, thank you so much, you're a life safer!" She smiled and was about to say something when I heard my baby call for me.
"Daddy.. daddy where are you?!" He sounded like he was about to cry, so I quickly ran to the changing room.
"I'm right here baby, don't worry, daddy's right here." I wiped his tears and kissed him on the cheek.
He looked over and then noticed the diaper.
"W-wats that's?" I smiled, ruffling his hair.
"It's a diaper baby, so you don't have anymore accidents. I think you should start wearing them, what do you think?" I couldn't read his face, and I was worried about his reaction.
"O-Ok.." He said quietly, but with a slight smile. I smiled in relief.
"Ok baby, let's get you changed." I gently wiped him with some baby wipes, and put the diaper on him. I couldn't help but coo at how adorable he looked.
He looked down and blushed, playing with his fingers.
I then helped him put on the shirt and step into the overalls. Lastly, I put his shoes on his feet. Stepping back I smiled.
"You look adorable baby." He looked up at me smiling.
"I do's?" I nodded and he twirled in a circle. I chuckled at him and grabbed his hand.
"You ready to go baby?" He nodded his head and we walked out of the dressing room.
The nice lady then looked over at Theo and squealed.
"He's so cute!" She ran over to him. He hid behind me quickly and she smiled, laughing a bit.
"A shy one aren't ya'?"
"Yeah, he can be shy with new people." I answered for him, pulling him from behind me.
"Don't worry, I have a little of my own, maybe you two can have a play date sometime." Theo's eyes lit up, and quickly nodded, earning a coo from the nice lady.
We exchanged numbers, and I learned her name is Lillian. After saying our goodbyes and thank you's we were on our way.
Theo seemed a lot better than earlier and was skipping happily, holding my hand.
"Let's go daddy, let's go!" I smiled pulling him back, and kissing him on the cheek.
"Calm down baby, we're going silly."
