I waited until he was gone to get out from under the covers.
I felt dazed, not knowing what to think or do. How should I respond to finding out that he kills people.
Sure, he said they were bad people but it still makes me think. It still makes me wonder. What if he's killing 'bad' people right now.
I got up and opened the bedroom door with a creak. A man, I'm guessing Callums friend that's supposed to be watching me.
He looked at me when he heard the door creak and stood up, smiling.
"Hey you must be Theo." I didn't say anything and just started at him. His smile wavered for a second but he quickly regained it.
"A little shy? It's ok." He came closer to me, sticking his hand out.
"The names James." I looked at his hand then at him.
I need to figure out a way to get away from him, and go to daddy. He can't just leave me here, especially after he told me his job.
"You like brownies?" I looked up at him and he smiled, putting his hand back down next to his side.
"Yeah why, you wanna make some?" I nodded my head, and idea popping up.
"Let me just go to the bathroom first." He went to pick me up but I stepped back.
"I'm not really feeling that little right now..." He scratched the back of his head.
"Sorry... um, I'll go prepare for the brownies." I nodded my head and walked to the bathroom, opening the medicine cabinet.
I got out some sleeping medicine, stuffing it into my pocket.
I flushed the toilet and turned on the faucet, pretending to wash my hands before walking into the kitchen.
"Ready?" I nodded my head.
"Hey James?" He looked at me.
"Yeah?"
"I have a bit of a headache, can you go in the bathroom and get me some medicine? It's in the blue bottle on the top right." He walked to the bathroom, and I quickly got a knife.
I broke up the pills the best I could and put them in the brownie mix, mixing it in and putting the knife back away.
"Hey I couldn't find anything." James returned and I shrugged.
"It's ok, the headaches not that bad." He said ok and put the brownie mix in a pan, putting it in the pre heated oven.

James got up from the couch, and I followed him. He took the brownies out of the oven and cut a couple of pieces.
"Oh, my stomach hurts a little I don't want any right now."
"Oh then I'll have one when you do." I shook my head.
"N-No you can eat one for me please? I wanna know if it tastes good." He gave me a confused look but bit into the brownie anyways.
"How is it?" He nodded his head.
"It's good, you sure you don't want one?" I shook my head.
"No, but you can have as many as you want though." He shoved the remaining bit of the brownie in his mouth, getting another slice.
"It's really good." I smiled and walked over to the couch, and he followed.
Now all I have to do is wait for the pills to take action.

I looked away from the TV because I heard snoring. I smiled and got up slowly, walking toward his bag.
I opened it and grabbed his phone.
What kind of idiot doesn't have a passcode. I shook my head and went to messages, finding Callums name. Now how would James text?
Hey, dude
Hey, how's Theo?
He's not doing so well, and he's crying for you, can you send a car here to pick us up.
Really? Is his stomach hurting? Does he have a headache? Should I come home right now?
I instantly felt bad for not listening to him earlier. He cares about me a lot and I know that, it's just I didn't know how else to respond.
No, no just send a car here from the work place.
You mean the agency?
Yeah that, send a car hurry.
Why do you need a car here?
He's crying for you and screaming, I have to go I'll be waiting for the car.
I turned off the phone, not letting him reply.
Running into the bedroom, I grabbed a small bag and put some things in it. An extra pair of clothes, a paci, and a stuffie.
I then quickly and quietly ran to the door, not looking back as I went outside, waiting for the car to come.
When I walked outside there was already an expensive looking car parked out front with tinted windows.
Hoping it was the right car I got into it and the driver said nothing and just kept on driving.
"We're here." I looked out the window and we were in front of a building. I got out, slowly walking to the front door.
I never really thought of what I would do past this point, and I'm kind of afraid of what's going to happen.
I tightened my grip on my bag and walked through the front door. The first person I made eye contact with was the one and only Callum.
"Baby! How are you doing? Are you ok? Where does it hurt? You need to go to the hospital?" He put his hand on his forehead, and rubbed my back. I instantly felt bad.
"Where's James?" I bit my lip, thinking about how I should word what I did. Let's see I sort of kind of drugged him with brownies and now he's asleep on the couch. I took his phone pretending to be him and I'm here!
I took a deep breath.
"Sleeping." He looked confused.
"What do you mean sleeping? He texted me saying your stomach hurt and he's bringing you here."
"Brownies." I looked down, feeling too ashamed to look him in the eyes.
"Sweetie you need to elaborate more so I understand." He kept rubbing small circles on my back.
"I-I kind of put sleeping medicine in brownies, and fed it to him so he fell asleep. Then I took his phone and pretended to be him, so I could come here." His face dropped.
"You did what?!" I flinched at his tone. I felt tears well up in my eyes, but I held them back.
"I'm sorry..." He huffed and crossed his arms.
"Sorry? Sorry isn't going to cut it! You drugged someone do you understand that?!" I nodded my head.
"People go to jail for that!" I nodded my head again, a tear falling down my cheek. I quickly wiped it, hoping he didn't see.
It was silent for a good ten seconds so I looked up. His eyes were closed and he was rubbing his temples.
"D-Daddy?" He took a deep breath and looked at me.
"Come on, Sit over here for the time being until I figure something out." He grabbed my hand and led me to some chairs. I sat down and brought my legs up to my chest.
"Stay here for a bit ok?" I nodded my head, feeling really guilty.
The sitting area I was in had a glass table in the middle. There were random boring magazines, and in the corner of the room there was a coffee machine as well as a water fountain.
I looked over to where daddy was and his phone rang. I watched his face change as he started to pace.
"Longer? Where? I'm going to have to figure something- yes ma'am. I understand." He hung up the call and I got up from the chair. I know he said to stay but I wanted to see what was wrong.
"Daddy?" He looked at me, I could see that he was tired.
"I told you to stay over there." He had a hint of agitation in his voice.
"I-I know it's just... I wanted to see if you were ok.." he sighed and pulled me into a hug.
"Yeah, I'm ok baby. It's just looks like I'm going to have to take you on a mission with me." I pulled back and looked up at him with big eyes.
"Really?"
