âWhat do you mean by marrying?â
âMarrying is marrying right. You are my fiance.â
A fiance? Wah? I had one of those? Seriously? Letâs sort out the situation for now.
I have a fiance. This person standing in front of me right now is supposed to be my fiance. And I will have to marry this person whom I donât know about in the first place.
Nn. It just went from the top of my head. Even after knowing the situation, I have no idea what it was. I donât remember my parents mentioning this to me.
âIt is not like that youâve voluntarily chosen to become my fiance now, is it?â
âIt has been approved by our parents, you know?â
âApproved by my parents? Iâve never heard of such a thing myself.â
âEven if youâve never heard of it, it doesnât change the fact that Sorata-kun and I will get married, okay?â
Certainly. Would that really be the case if she were really my fiance? Rather, is there really such a thing as âa fianceâ in this age?
Itâs still hard for me to accept the fact that I have a fiance. I wonder if my nee-chan knows anything about this.
I guess Iâll have to ask her about it later.
âAhâ please donât tell your nee-chan about all this.â
âEh? Why not?â
âBecause it would become a pain in the butt.â
âPain in the butt?â
âYou still donât understand? So she is still on about this. Such an idiot.â
âIdiot?â
âNope, donât mind about that. Say, letâs go inside the house rather than standing and talking here indefinitely.â
âUn~nnââ
For some reason, she comes really assertive. Even though itâs my home.â
She and I sat down on the couch in the living room.
âOi, why are you sitting so close to me?â
âEh? I mean, isnât it normal to sit close or cuddle the person youâre in love with?â
âWell, thatâs true but, then for starters, can you tell me your name?â
âEh? You still donât remember? Arima Kanade. Your fiance and destined one.â
Arima Kanade. I think I have heard that name somewhere. Well, itâs okay for now I guess.
But still, I want her to stop telling me that she loves me directly to my face.
I am not accustomed to being directly told âI love youâ by a girl, it becomes too embarrassing for me.
I pretended to clear my throat in order to avoid being caught getting embarrassed.
âWell, itâs the first time in a few years since Iâve met you Sorata-kun so let us do something that will make us happy.â
âWhat do you mean by that?â
âThis is what Iâm talking about!â
?!
âWait Kanade-san, What are youâ¦â
âKa~nadeâ
âKanaâde saânâ
âKanaâ¦â
âsanâ¦â
?!
âKANADE SAN!â
âNow itâs good. Mufu~fu~ Sorata-kunâs saliva is shyo absolutely delicious.â
âHA~aah, It was so sudden that I didnât even had a chance to resist.â
âYou donât need to resist in the first place. Okay, now that Iâve replenished my happiness meter, to Sorataâs room, Letâs go~!
After saying this, Kanade-san headed upstairs at a tremendously fast speed.
I sighed heavily. I took out a bottle of cold-tea from the refrigerator, poured it into two cups, and readied to take them upstairs.
*Gacha *sfx door opening sound.
âSorata, your beloved nee-chan is home.â
Nee-chan came back home. And then she proceeded into the living room, but suddenly halted.
âSay, Sorata. Did someone come in?â
