18|| Dark night with bright stars

The song "Awaara" meaning homeless or vagrant is really perfect for this chapter. Sorry to those that won't understand 🙂

Alizeh is also outside the house, the men here... ugh ugh... she is a girl... Fuck!

I went outside, with a picture of Alizeh, searching for her.

Oh Allah, please don't make her suffer for the mistake I committed!

Why did I realize all of this now?

{ ALIZEH'S POV }

"Please no... don't!", I screamed as they took my scarf away.

The street was so deserted that my scream echoed loudly, yet no one came.

The four gangsters started fighting. Fighting about who will do it first.

They kept fighting while I got up trying to run. I tried to escape, to run away but the same guy grabbed my neck, almost choking me when I tried to.

"Sit here silently!", he screamed. His voice echoed scaring the hell out of me. They still kept fighting while I kept crying, crying silently like he said.

The night was dark, as dark as charcoal with the brightest of stars. Yet, the night for me seemed to be even darker with absolutely no stars. No light. Only darkness.

One of them came towards me looking at me with the most disgusting looks ever. As if I was the golden ticket to their filthy, lustful and lascivious desires.

I spat at him out of disgust and he slapped me. Slapped me really hard.

"You can't run away, so stop trying baby", he said putting emphasis on the word baby.

The overwhelming feeling of helplessness surged through me, weakening my very being.

I tried my best to not let them touch me. But, he started touching me. Touching my face with one finger. Touching my hand. Touching my waist and legs. Yuck!

He started tearing my sleeves. The black sleeves of the black kameez Amir gave me.

Another one of them hit my leg with a stick, making me unable to get up or even move.

Why am I such a bloody fool? How could I run away after the whistling of men at me in the rain had happened.

That time, Amir saved me but now? There is no escape.

{ AMIR'S POV }

"Where the fuck are you Alizeh?", I screamed while tears fell down to my cheeks as I almost gave up.

I was near a bus station, that is the farthest she would be able to walk to. I searched everywhere. There was no sign of Alizeh. Where did she go? Or was she kidnapped?

I CANNOT GIVE UP! Even if it takes the whole night. I have to find Alizeh. She is so vulnerable!

I sat down on a brown bench, trying to think of where she could go.

I called all my security and servants, literally everyone to search for her. I have never found myself to be this restless. So restless that if a murder would happen in front of me, I wouldn't care.

I looked around and a piece of earring grabbed my attention. It was under the bench.

The earring was of Alizeh's. It was the same one she wore on her birthday. The one she never took off.

Oh God, that means she was here!

The bus that was supposed to go from Lucknow to Delhi never went and that was the only bus route of the whole day. That meant she was in Lucknow! I have to find her!

I kept searching for her, running around, screaming her name. There was no sight of Alizeh anywhere.

Until, I walked towards a really very empty street.

I could hear screams and laughter. It seemed like a group of men were laughing and a girl was screaming. It kept echoing. I followed the voices. Until, I was literally at a dead end.

Where were the voices coming from?

I kept looking around trying to follow the voices. It seemed like the voices where coming from everywhere.

The street was so deserted that a little bit of noise would echo till far far away.

Suddenly, I heard a girl scream and say, "Please leave me". It was Alizeh's voice. I knew her scream too well.

I searched everywhere in that street, until I finally saw a group of four men harassing a girl. It was Alizeh.
