Satsu was back into his human form. He had looked more alive, and he had told me that he felt like it too. He had finally gained confidence. He was now a dragon boy I had always thought he is. Although he still was a bit self-conscious, he had matured as much as I have. He isn't exactly called a dragon, yet he still looked similar to one. He was not a beast, but a powerful life form of a spirit. Everyone had gained respect for him.
We were in Utmas room. She was both honored, yet furious at Satsus transformation. Her eyes were intense as her eyebrows were scowling upon us.
"Satsu, I told you before to have never transform into that form." She said in a calming reassuring tone, yet you could tell she was still controlling her anger. Satsus hands lay down quietly in front of him, as his eyes looked down at the ground. I came into the conversation.
"Satsu saved the house," I went on. Satsu looked up at me as his eyes opened wide up at me, and had become frivolous over the fact that I have been standing up for him. "He had to transform. If he hadn't, doctor Komos powers would still remain inside him. Please let this pass for honor of us saving this house." I bowed, reassuring her.
Her eyebrows had lifted as her shoulders rested. She was starting to become calmer as she was neutral. She sighed, and her eyes closed as she thought for a moment and then she opened them again.
"Fine then. I will let this slide. Yet Satsu you must promise to never transform under this house again. I will consider you may outside the realms of the spirit world, but never under this roof. You will knock down my antiques sent from the sea spirits and the interior made from the bamboo of the land spirits. Now bygone." She had waved Satsu and I away. We walked out never making a mere sense of a sound.
Satsu scratched his head, and stood still for a moment. I stopped walking and turned around. "What's wrong?" I asked.
He looked up at me with tired eyes. "I'm wondering when my father will be here. I was afraid and had forgotten to ask her. And I was also afraid if it would have angered her even more." Satsus tone of voice lowered. I went up to him and smiled.
"He will soon. But don't worry about it." I tried to encourage him. He smiled; luckily I helped his mood more positively. We continued to head back to our rooms, and for hidden rice cakes Satsu had hidden under his pillow and his mat. I giggled with excitement.
