I actually was bursting with happiness!!! I went to bed happier than I thought I would be after studying demographics!!

Today had been a ton of fun. Laughing with everyone from my childhood and new friends, playing football (until Caden subtly mentioned that I should be taking it easy), swimming and playing any game I was invited to.

I hadn't got to see much of Caden today since we were both trying to move through the large group and talk to everyone and answer questions in between laughs.

I was exhausted and just wanted to sleep, but I wanted to clean up the kitchen before morning when it became messy again from breakfast.

Caden's thoughts told me he was still laughing with a family. I smiled as I moved around the kitchen.

I yawned continuously throughout cleaning. When everything was away, I collapsed into a chair.

I heard a chuckle that sounded far off and realized I had fallen asleep.

"Come on angel, let's get you to bed."

I slowly sat up and he instantly picked me up. I wrapped my legs around him and put my cheek on his shoulder, "I miss you."

He squeezed me gently, "I miss you too babe."

I seemed to get more awake as he carried me up the stairs. I picked my head up and stared at him. I placed my lips on his jaw in random places, "You didn't shave today." His chin had a few days' stubble on it.

"I thought I would try being a lumberjack today."

I laughed. He placed me on the bed and I brought him with me, not letting him go.

"You need to sleep."

"I need you more."

His eyes turned dark as he looked down at me, "Bee, you're exhausted."

I shrugged and ran my hands up his chest under his shirt. He lifted up his arms reluctantly and I took it off. I tossed it somewhere behind him and he bent to kiss me.

Are you sure beautiful?

I love you.

He chuckled and ran his lips up to my ear, "I love you more."

His stubble drove me crazy against my sensitive skin, "I like it."

"What do you like babe?"

"That you didn't shave."

He pulled back with humour in his eyes, "I was kidding about being a lumberjack beautiful."

"Well you could keep it trimmed, it doesn't need to be gross."

He chuckled before nodding, "Anything you want beautiful."

Don't do it because of me.

I'd do anything for you. He said as he nuzzled my neck. The stubble had me craving him.

Don't do it if you don't like it. He ran his lips down to my shirt making me all tingles as his stubble created friction.

I like what it does to you. He said with a smirk and his teeth sunk into my mark. That too.

I was reeling in pleasure as he began to undress me slowly.

So beautiful. He said, waking me up as his lips and hands moved on my skin. I was laying on my stomach and my back was bare. His finger ran down my back to the blanket and back up before he moved my hair, his hand going through it.

"Morning sexy."

"Good morning beautiful."

I turned my head to look at him and he placed his lips on my forehead.

"You're beautiful."

"That's the third time today Caden." I said skeptically, "And I've only been awake for a minute."

He stayed quiet and rolled me over to lay my head on his chest as he ran his fingers through my hair. I placed my hand on his chest, "I would stay right here with you forever if I didn't have to move."

His voice had been just above a whisper and as we laid there I couldn't bring myself to say anything. I couldn't ruin this moment.

Alpha, we found an abandoned house with the scent of your parents, Zeke said hurriedly.

So much for not ruining the moment.

I went to get up but Caden stopped me, before replying to Zeke, Don't move in. I want it surrounded. Daniel and I will be there soon. Tell him the directions.

Yes sir.

Caden kissed me hungrily, "We need to go back to the cabin."

I nodded, "When this is done. Caden be careful."

He kissed my foregead again, "I'll come back. Don't doubt me Bee. I'll always be here for you."

"But you're not invincible so don't be stupid. Otherwise I'll kick that perfect ass of yours." I said in a I'm-kidding-but-seriously-do-not-die-or-I'll-bring-you-back-to-slap-you.

He chuckled, "Yes ma'am."

Caden's POV

Dan and I met in the kitchen. I hugged Blake desperately, as Dan said goodbye to Sam and we left the kitchen. I hated leaving Bee behind, last time she got assaulted by that fucking asshole.

Mission, I reminded myself.

"Where is it?"

"Northeast of the bunker about four miles."

We shifted and ran there. Zeke filled us in on how there was a bunker about half a mile from it and their trail was faint but lead towards the cabin, stopping there.

Minutes later Dan and I met up with Zeke, all the guards were shifted to wolf form as they made a distant circle around the house. We kept low and quiet, We hit it at once. Every exit and window covered. No one out. We go in at once.

Yes, sir. All guards agreed and at my count they stilled.

Three. Two. One. Go quietly.

We all crept closer.

Exits covered?

Yes sir.

They are not to be killed unless extreme measure is necessary. We need answers. I used my Alpha tone through the link and every wolf agreed immediately.

At three we go in. Every floor and room clear. If anyone is found they are held where you find them and I'm called.

Then one. Two. Three.

Glass shattered and wood splintered as doors and windows were just an obstacle we went through to get in. There were still guards surrounding the house. And the nearby bunker. They were not getting away again.

Dan and I were first up the stairs, wolves branched off to clear the floors, the rest following as we made our way along the second floor hallway.

I held up my hand, Quiet!

The house seemed to go under my spell. I pointed towards a door on the left and Dan quietly moved to the other side of the door. We all listened and flinched back as the door to the room I heard scuffling in, exploded.

Bang! Bang! Bang! Bang! Bang! Bang!

Six bullets whizzed past Dan and I. One hit a guard who instantly dropped.

Alpha, it's silver. Lance said as he hissed in pain. If he wasn't in his wolf form he would've already shifted.

Two guards get him to the doc. Now. Lance hang in there. My mate will kill me if you die.

Yes sir, Lance said with a faint smile and half-assed salute.

He was carried out of the house as the room beside us got quiet again. I heard them reload the gun. That means they only have six shots.

I motioned for everyone to get back and turned away as six more shots echoed through the otherwise-silent house.

Bang! Bang! Bang! Bang! Bang! Bang!

Go! I commanded and Dan followed my burst through the door staying right behind me. I tackled our "father" and Dan leaped on our "mother".

I heard grunts from our "mother" and Dan as she shifted and Dan fought to control her.

As did I. Our "father" snapped at my side which I easily dodged and clamped my teeth around his throat. He whimpered as I bit down harder. His paws clawed at my sides as he let go of the gun. Which went flying and Zeke grabbed it in his mouth, still in wolf form, Weapon secure.

Handcuff them with the silver cuffs. They're to be brought back to the packhouse at Bluelake. Chain them up.

Yes sir, Zeke replied and guards instantly held them both, struggling against them.

Full time guards posted. Inside and out. This place searched and everything brought back to me. ASAP.

Yes sir. Anything else? Zeke asked respectively.

I nodded and met up with Dan, Any injuries?

I growled at him in warning.

Dan made a whipping motion and I playfully jumped him. We wrestled but I quickly had him pinned and he surrendered with one last whippibg sound and we made our way back to the pack house.

I couldn't help my smile as Dan laughed and joked. We both know you're just as whipped Dan.

No way, he said sarcastically and we both laughed harder.

Who thought we would see the day?

He smiled, Glad I have.

I smelt her before I saw her. Her stomach slightly swollen with our two pups. My whole family was right there. Beautiful in her shorts and looser shirt as she laughed with Sam, Jess and Dana on the back porch.

I stopped and stared at her as she held her stomach laughing. I could feel her happiness coming off in waves. She calmed down before asking something and heading to the kitchen.

I shifted back and quickly entered the kitchen. I walked up behind her, wrapping my arms around her slim waist and pulling her back to my chest. I ran my cheek along hers and she tilted her head to give me access to the mark. My mark.

Tingles exploded as my stubble created a need all through her at the friction it caused.

"Caden..." she said like a sigh and I growled happily as my wolf came closer to the surface. I could take her right here if only we could lock everyone out.

"I want you so bad baby." I whispered against her ear and she relaxed into me.

She nodded before shaking her head slightly, "I'm supposed to be pouring more iced tea."

"They'll live."

"Caden."

"You seem really happy angel. I love watching you laugh and smile with everyone."

"It's awesome having a joined pack."

I nodded and turned her towards me so I could see those emeralds I love. She wanted me too. Her eyes were bright green, her wolf was right at the surface. Damn that iced tea.

"Want to join us for a drink sexy?"

That one word. I know my eyes turned darker, they always did. The way she says it makes me want to take her wherever we are. I just want to have her. "What I really want is to feel-"

"Caden."

I held back my laugh as she blushed. How she still can't talk about sex is beyond me. But seeing her cheeks turn that adorable pink is so worth it. She's beautiful. And our pups would be too. "It's just us here."

"Caden. Stop laughing at me." She scowled but the tinge of a smile on the corner of her lips gave away her humour and I tilted her face to mine before kissing her.

When we pulled apart her hands were holding fists of my shirt, her eyes bright like emeralds, my hair messed up, and me between her legs as she sat on the counter. "You should continue your drinks with the girls."

"You're not joining us?" Her smile fell and I pulled her close.

"I'm going to make sure the imposters are locked up. How about dinner beautiful?"

"Promise?"

I nodded. With all my heart.

She smiled and I pecked her forehead before giving her one last gentle squeeze and letting her grab the pitcher of iced tea from the fridge. I pinched her ass when she bent into the fridge to grab it and she stared at me shocked before smirking and wiggling it before quickly leaving the kitchen.

Not fair babe.

I laughed at her warning tone and asked Ben and Dan to meet me in the basement.

Bee did you want to be a part of this? It may get violent.

I always want you with me. But I think it would be better if you didn't see this. I don't know what she would do if she saw me torturing some guy for information. It might not come down to that, but with most rogues it does.

I felt her happiness at that comment and dropped my smile to business as I descended into the basement.
