Samaira's pov -

I woke up the next day with immense pain in my back . I was damn sure that I might have strained it .

I saw him comfortably sleeping on the bed and just how could I watch him living his life in peace when he didn't let me even sleep in peace .

"Let's do something mischievous ". I said to myself in a low tone and then got up from the couch  .

I went to the bathroom and got ready to leave for the office as it's a government job so i couldn't afford to take another leave .

I came out from the washroom and started drying my hair while vigorously sprinkling all the water over that royal ass highness's face and just the next second he woke up while rubbing his eyes .

Aniket's pov -

I was sleeping peacefully while dreaming a good dream  when some droplets of water woke me up from my deep and peaceful slumber to a not so good reality .

"Ugh ! What do you think you are doing  Miss Attitude ?" I asked her .

"Playing volleyball . Wanna join ?" She replied with a mischievous smile pasted on her face and i obviously know that she did it to get revenge on me for not letting her sleep on the bed .

"What did i do to deserve this life ?" I said to myself in a low voice tone regretting my life decisions .

"U called me a liar ." She said in a low tone thinking that I may not be able to hear it but I heard it .

"So u did do it intentionally ." I said  getting irritated even though I already did know that she did it intentionally .

"Sorry I can't hear you , perhaps i became deaf a few seconds ago ." She said and then left the room thinking that she looked scary while in reality she was looking like a sassy cat that had her paws all out .

Samaira's look -

Samaira's pov -

I was running downstairs so that I could avoid him when i bumped into vedansh .

"Oh . Aren't you that idiotic girl 's bua ." He asked making me bend to his level before replying .

"Yes i am . But why did you call my niece idiotic ? She is so cute just like you ." I asked pinching his nose .

"She always takes my things and runs away with them and never returns them ." He replied acting like he was very angry and done with her which honestly made me laugh .

"By the way thanks but I already know that i am cute . You are also beautiful ." He said while getting all shy which made me smile at his cuteness .

"Thank you my little munchkin ." I said pinching his cheeks again .

"Don't do that . I am a big boy ." He said with hands on his waist like the boss baby he is .

"Ok big boy ." I said faking getting scared to make him smile .

"Vedansh how many times do i have to tell you to eat your food and then go and play ." A manly voice rang in my ears approaching me and vedansh .

"Ohh hello . I am Divyank ." He introduced himself and held out his hand .

"I am sorry I didn't quite recognise you ." I said shaking his hand .

"How could you ? We didn't have a proper meet at the wedding due to all the chaos ." He said .

"I am Aniket's younger brother and that little munchkin is my kid ." He said and i recognised him this time .

"Ohh . I have heard a lot about you . V Nice to finally meet you ." I said .

"But you are younger and married and have a child I mean -- . Oh I am sorry I didn't mean it like that ." I changed the question realising that I may have framed it wrongly .

"Oh it's completely fine and your question is also completely valid . I and bhai don't share much of an age gap so that's why and i found the one that I  loved  so why delay ? " He said making me nod my head in response .

"By the way what is your plan ?" He asked arching his eyebrows .

"What plan Mr rathore ?" I asked raising my eyebrows in confusion .

"Ohh please don't be so formal call me Divyank . I am the same age as yours ." He said and i got a little taken back I mean he is so young and takes care of a child while I can't even take care of myself .

"And you have a kid -- I meant i can't even take care of myself and here you are taking care of a child and a wife as well . Kudos to you ." I said making him chuckle .

"I just got married early . I met Pragya in school in 9th grade . We both fell in love and later got married after we both were successful in our lives ." He said and i clapped like a little kid .

"Wow . You almost made me forget . What plan ?" I asked him again before I forgot again .

"On how to irritate the hell out of my brother .  See i am fully on your side . I love irritating him . The biggest trouble maker of our family is asleep otherwise the house would have never been so quiet . " He said and i got a little confused as to whom it was because i still was not very familiar with them all .

"Who ?" I asked him while thinking who it could be .

"Bhabhi ." A sweet voice could be heard .

"Speak of the devil . I am out otherwise my whole day will be ruined ." He said and then escaped from there fast at the speed of light with vedansh .

"Again someone stole my trick ." I again sulked because this was the second time someone stole my trick .

"Ohh my god . You look so pretty . I am gonna die . I wish I looked that beautiful ." She said exaggeratingly complimenting me which made a huge smile form on my face .

"You are already very pretty . No way you have to doubt yourself ." I told her and indeed she is beautiful . Silky hair , glossy lips with beautiful eyes she looked mesmerizing .

"Thanks . But i already knew that ."  Call me Divya ." She said making me chuckle .

"Sure divya ." I said .

"See let me make myself clear ." She said with a straight face making me confused as to what she wanted to say .

"You are very pretty . I think i have a crush on you I have some dresses which would look amazing on you .

Last but not the least . It's my honour to meet you and serve you from now on . My brother is an asshole and will always be but you look like someone who can give him competition . So please irritate the hell out of him . I am with you ." She said all of that in one breath and i was so happy . One day and i already have three people on my side . Wait and watch Mr Rathore ...

"Wow ! He gives me a lecture when i curse . Look at his sister ." I thought to myself again but this time in my head or i thought so I did .

"He is like that . Don't tell that to him or i will have to be tortured by listening to his ten page long lectures ." She said almost pleading .

"Did I say that out loud ?" I thought in a low tone but I guess I was loud enough for her to hear .

"Yes u did ." She said .

"Don't worry , I won't ." I told her and her face muscles relaxed making her smile .

"Thank you but sorry I have to leave . I am getting late for my college . Bye see you later . Take care and irritate the hell out of him for me please ." She said while giving me a flying kiss and then left .

"I wonder how he is such a jerk when his parents and siblings are like that ." I said to myself while finding my way to the hall .

"Samaira baache . Where are you going ?" Maa asked when she saw me .

"Actually maa i have a job so I was just about to leave . You don't have any problem with that right ?" I asked because I was not very familiar with the royal rules and regulations  .

"Obviously not beta . You are like my own daughter . You are free to do whatever you want . It's your life after all . Isn't it ?" She asked smiling making me smile as well .

"But . I have one condition ." She said with her arms folded around her chest .

"What maa ?" I asked getting a little nervous as to what her condition may be .

"You have to have breakfast every morning before leaving . No need to get tensed baacha . We are just like your family ." She said while caressing my back comforting me .

"Sure maa and thank you for thinking about me ." I said while getting a little teary eyed because i missed my mumma and family .

"Every mother thinks for her daughter . Doesn't she ? Everyone come down fast ." She said calling everyone down for breakfast .

"Samira baache when do you have to leave ?" She asked .

"Around 12 maa . I called and already informed that i may be a little late today ." I said and she nodded .

"There is one last rasam left which is the Pehli rasoi ." She said and i smiled but that smile was for sure as those were the words that i dreaded the most because I know nothing about cooking .

"Maa , there is one problem ." I said .

"What bacche ?" She asked getting a little worried .

"I know nothing about cooking ." I replied in a low tone .

"That is not a problem at all . We have cooks who cook very delicious food 24/7 and i will help you today . Just make some halwa for shagun ." She said making me smile and get all excited because i did know how to cook halwa .

"Is she made of sugar or am I just too sour ." I thought to myself.

"Thank you ." I thanked her .

"No problem baache ." She said caressing my hair and then left while i followed behind .

Everyone came down and I and maa went to the kitchen to try and make halwa . Maa looked like a professional chef while i looked like a local chef who had no clue about what she was doing .

"And the halwa is ready . Just put it in bowls and serve it . I will be waiting outside ." She said feeling proud about me while i smiled looking at the halwa that I made .

"Yes mam ." I said in a saluting manner to which i earned a chuckle from her .

I served it in bowls and went outside with it .

"Here you go everyone ." I said while serving the bowls to all of them .

"It's very tasty Samaira ." Pragya bhabhi said taking another bite of it .

"First time that I willingly agree with you ." Divyank bhai said making all of us laugh .

All of them complimented me while he was just silently sitting and eating it without any visible expressions on his face .

"Here you go ." Papa said getting up and handing me an envelope of money and a box which seemed like jewellery of some kind .

"This is so not needed dad ." I said trying to give it back but obviously there was absolutely no way that he was going to accept it back .

"Keep it baache . It's a part of this ritual ." Dadi sa said and i had to accept it since no one in this house has the guts to disagree with her .

I opened the jewellery box and it revealed a beautiful necklace embedded with diamonds and emeralds making it look absolutely ethereal and royal .

The necklace -

"Thank you so much dad but i am going to have to leave now or else i am gonna be late ." I said closing the jewellery box and passing him a smile .

And before anyone else could have asked he asked .

"Where to ?" He asked while arching his eyebrows .

"Why should I tell you ?" I said but soon remembered that we are not alone so i have got to tell him the truth .

"To my work ." I said with a straight face trying not to sound rude .

"And may i know where that is ?" He asked getting up from his chair and taking a step towards me .

"ASI headquarters . It is located in New Delhi ." I replied and he looked a little taken back along with everyone else as well .

"New Delhi ? That is way too far . How will you manage to go there ?" He asked politely which is pretty unusual of him .

"I used to live in Delhi before but now i think i will have to drive back and forth from here and there until I get a transfer to the operating headquarters here ." I replied back politely because till the time that he is polite so am i but the second that he starts disrespecting me then i will show him the real me .

"No need . My men will talk to your boss ." He said standing in front of me .

"No need as i am the boss of my ministry . I am the head of my unit so I don't think i need your favour ." I replied a little rudely this time because he too sounded rude .

What ? I know you may be thinking such an insolent egoistic girl . I am not egoistic it's just that I am not very good with people controlling me or showing them as superior to me .

"I was just trying to help but it seems like i hurt your ego instead . Well anyways if you want to go you can as i am no one to stop you but you will have at least one security car with you ." He said looking at me while picking up his coat from the chair's back rest .

"And why so ?" I asked with my eyes now completely on him .

"Because you are my wife and taking care of you is my responsibility ."  He said while I was taken back with his statement .

"But -- " Before i could have said something else he interrupted .

"No if and buts . It's not a command but an order and that too for the sake of your own safety as i can't risk it ." He said and then left leaving me  dumbfounded and now I am completely sure that he is bipolar since he molds a new personality  according to the situation every time .

"He may actually not be that bad after all but that does not mean that i am not going to irritate him . I am definitely going to do that , ugh now i can't even get this man out of my head ." I thought to myself and then picked up my car keys while stomping my feet like a little child .

"Bye everyone ." I said bidding them goodbye .

"Bye ." Everyone said in unison and then I went outside and got inside my car and so did his guards .

While I was driving my mother called  informing about the pag pheras so i went home to meet them all and for that ritual too . They all were obviously not happy with all of this but it is what it is . Isn't it ?

His guards followed me all the while in their black cars . They even got different cars that did not have the royal sign on them so that people wouldn't get suspicious .
