It has been a whole year since that day . Yes one whole year passed in front of our eyes before we knew our second marriage anniversary was also near . Right now everyone was busy as it was Divya ' s wedding .

Yes Divya is getting married . She told us that she loves someone and that they plan to get married . Both the families met and it was in no time that this day came so quick .

Everyone was very busy with the preparations of Divya's wedding me not so much because I was pretty sick the whole time . God knows why ? Everyone asked me to go to and consult a doctor but i was more interested in Divya's wedding preparations .

Today was Divya's ladies Sangeet . Everyone was dancing and laughing so was I .

"Samaira chal na ! Kya baar baar thak kar baith Rahi hai . Abhi toh maaze karne ka mauka hai ." Pragya said trying to drag me along with her while i was sitting on the couch .

( "Samaira come ! How many times will you get tired and sit down . It's the time to enjoy right now . " )

"Pragya i just don't feel good . Bohot dino se horha hai ab toh doctor ko lagta hai dikhana hi padega ." I said not getting up and leaning back on the couch more .

( "Pragya i just don't feel good . It's been going on from so many days now i think i have to consult a doctor now . )

"Itne dino se humari nahi suni ek din apni bhi mat sun chal na dance karte hai ." Pragya said and dragged me to the dance floor while i resisted the whole while .

( "You didn't listen to us from so many days what will you do by listening to yourself for once come on let's dance .)

I was already feeling dizzy but now that just rose to another level . I could'nt even stand still and the next second i fainted .

"Samiara , Samaira , Someone go call aniket fast ." Aarti said crouching down and tapping her face .

Aniket's pov -

"So actually i was saying -"

"Bhai , bhai woh samaira ." I was talking to Divya's to be husband when Pragya came there huffing trying to catch a breath then the second that she mentioned Samaira i was all ears .

( "Brother , brother samaira .)

"What happened to samiara tell me pragya what happened to her ." I asked while she was still catching her breath .

"What happened to samaira ?" Papa and divyank also asked worried about her .

"She fainted -- ." Before she could complete her sentence all three of us ran from there to the place where the ladies Sangeet was taking place . I ran the fastest that i could .

Divyank called our family doctor while i rushed to the dance floor and picked her up and layed her down on the nearest couch .

The doctor came after a while and started to examine her . She smiled a little which i found rude i mean someone is sick and fainted and you are smiling .

"She has weakness ." She said taking off her stethoscope still smiling .

"Yeh koi hasne ki baat hai ?" Divya asked looking her and there with her arms crossed near her chest .

( "Is this something to laugh about ? ")

"Mai isliye nahi Haas rhi ." She said and smiled even more now infuriating me too .

( "I am not laughing because of that .")

"Haasengi nahi toh kya . Kya soch Rahi hongi yeh itne aache khandan ki bahu aur phir bhi isse weakness hai . Aur mat khao khaana . Khaana banta hi kyu hai Ghar mai jab khaana nahi hoti . Isse toh mai batati hu uthne toh do Zara ." Maa started scolding her all of a sudden while everyone else facepalmed her .

( "She obviously will laugh why wouldn't she . What will she be thinking that even after being from such a reputed family she still has weakness . This will obviously happen if you dont eat well . Why do i even make food when noone wants to eat it . I will give her a lesson let her wake up first ." )

"But ---." The doctor was about to say something but as usual who will let anyone else speak in this chaotic family .

"Sahi keh rahe ho aap maa isski toh aaj khair nahi uthne toh do isse . Aur yeh apka beta konse kaam ka hai jab yeh apni biwi ka khayal tak nahi rakh sakta . Chii ! Badtameez !" Pragya said glaring at me while i shoot daggers through my eyes at her

( "Mother you are right we won't leave her just let her wake up first . And this son of yours why is he here when he can't even take care of his wife ! Yuck ! Shameless !" )

"One second just hear me out for once ." The doctor said shushing everyone present in the room .

"Aniket , Be extra careful with what you say and what you do . Aunty please feed her on time and feed her medications on time too and Pragya go prepare the house for another celebration ." The doctor said while we were all still remained clueless .

"Aunty ji , Mubarak ho aap dadi banne wali ho ." The doctor said and all of us just went in shock . We stood like statues not believing it. All of them recovered from the shock leaving me . I was still standing there like a statue then maa shaked me bringing me out of shock .

( "Aunty , Congratulations you are going to be a grandmother .")

"Dadi ? Matlab mai papa ban ne wala hu ? Ek minute "MAI PAPA BANNE WALA HU " ? Doctor ko bulao mai behosh hone wala hu ." I said dropping down on the couch and gulping a whole glass of water in one go .

( "Grandmother ? That Means i am about to become a father ? Wait a minute " I am about to become a father " ? Call the doctor i am about to faint .")

"Is he happy or is he sad ?" Pragya asked maa while pointing towards me .

"He is so happy that he doesn't even know what to do ." Divya squired and danced like a little child while her to be husband adored her .

"When she wakes up get her to me for an internal checkup ." The doctor said and then left after we all thanked her for the nth time .

Half an hour later - Samaira's pov

I woke up trying to get up from the couch when i saw everyone laying dead on the floor but alive the next moment .

"Stay there ." Bhai said warning me almost jumping from his seat .

"Samaira who told you to wear heels what if you tripped ?" Bhabhi asked scolding me while i looked at her confused because she herself was the one who helped me select .

"Why would she care about that ?" Maa taunted me making me more confused .

"Guys it's not like she knows ." Aniket said and they all looked at looking at each other nodding .

"What don't i know ?" I asked getting up from my seat .

"Keep sitting there bhabhi ." Divya warned me .

"Koi mujhe batayega yaha ho kya Raha hai ?" I asked them raising my voice above the decibel that i usually talk in .

( "Will someone tell me what is going on here ?" )

When Vedansh came towards me and asked .

"Toh chachi kya khareed rahe ho aap mera liye bhai ya behen ? Mujhe behen chahiye aap meri pocket money ke paiso se khareedo lo ." He said as i looked towards them in shock .

( "So chachi what are you buying for me a brother or a sister . I want a sister, you buy it with my pocket money ." )

"Bhai ? Behen ? Mai ?" I asked confused and then next second when i realised what he meant i looked at Aniket in shock .

( "Brother ? Sister ? Me ? ." )

"Aniket is true ?" I asked him with tear glincing in my eyes to which he nodded and i got up and hugged him tightly but he hugged me back softly and everyone looked at us with loving and adoring eyes .

Few months later - Third person's pov

"Aniket ! Aniket ! Aniket ! Aniket !" She shouted on top of her lungs from the living room with a bags of chips on her lap and her phone in her hand .

"What ? Are you okay or is it time . Oh my god where is the hospital bag ." He asked running towards her tensed and concerned while over exaggerating .

"For god's sake I am fine . Just Go and get me some litchi ." She said stuffing chips in her mouth .

"Litchi ? At 12 pm at night ?" He asked sighing .

"So what ? The baby wants litchi so the baby gets litchi . Now get lost and get me some litchi ." She said shooing him off .

"Ok ok but you didnt have to insult me this much . So rude ." He said trying to act offended .

half an hour later -

"Litchi ! Litchi ! Litchi !" She squirled in excitement as he was peeling them for her .

"You know i got them from Delhi for you ." He said stuffing a litchi in her mouth .

"Oh i thought you got it from Australia ." She said sarcasticaly making him laugh .

"Aniket ! Aniket ! It's time !" She said tapping on his shoulder.

"No it's not you sleep at 4 am at night and wake up at 4 the next day so it's fine ." He said feeding her another litchi while she shouted .

"You idiot ! It's time the baby is coming ." She said hitting him while shouting .

"What ? What ? What ? Maa , Papa , Pragya , Divyank , Come down fast the baby is coming . Oh my god am i having a panic attack or a heart attack ?" He said holding his head .

"Shut up ." She shouted at him from the couch while he searched for the hospital bag .

"Kuch nahi ho rha tujhe pregnant woh hai tu nahi nalayak uth yaha se ." His mother hit him on his head and handed him the bag .

( "Nothing is happening to you, she is pregnant, you are not you idiot , get up from here ." )

Finally they reached the hospital . She was taken to the delivery room immediately as she was already 7 cm dilated meaning that the baby could come any moment now .

Aniket pov -

My heart was racing so fast . The sounds of her shouting just were to painful for me to hear and there she was experiencing that pain . I was so so tensed , concerned , happy and emotional so many more emotions at once that i couldn't even express ...

Then i saw the doctor coming out of the delivery room .

"Congratulations it's a baby girl ." The doctor said coming out of the delivery room while smiling then after some time she was shifted to a private ward .

I never announced to the public who my wife was i just told them that i am married because I didn't want my family to be in the limelight . I wanted them to live the best and simplest life possible. I want my life to be private .

I went inside and hugged her as she was laying down on the bed .

"Where is she ?" I asked her still scared .

"There ." She said and pointed to the crib .

I took baby steps and stood there for a second panicking and scared .

"Aniket , What are you doing ? Pick her up ." She said looking at me .

"What if i drop her ? What if i hurt her ? She is so little . I am scared ." I said rubbing my palms together while she chuckled .

"You are her father aniket . You can never hurt her ." She said and then maa picked her up from her crib and handed her to me .

"What are you going to name her ?" Maa asked .

"Aakriti ." Samaira said making them both smile till their ears .

Three years later -

"And then the princess flew ." Aniket was right now narrating a story to his daughter while making her hair and she was listening to him so carefully.

"Papa ! Toh phir Rajkumar ka kya hua ?" Aakriti asked pouting .

( "Father , Then what happened to the prince after that .")

"Phir Rajkumar ne bola ki mai aakriti ko tab hi bataunga jab woh khaana khayegi ." Samaira said entering then room .

( "Then the prince said that I will tell Aakriti only after she eats her food .)

"Theek hai phir aap khaana khila do phir papa story suna denge ." She ran from her father's arms to her mother.

( "Ok then feed me then dad will narrate the story .")

"I will come back in a bit . Both of you take care ." Aniket said and then kissed my forehead .

"Papa mai ?" Their daughter cutely pouted and then he pecked her cheeks too .

( "Father me ?" )

"Bye papa ." She smiled and giggled .

"Bye my lifelines ." He said giving them a flying kiss and then he left from there .

After a year they were blessed with a baby boy and named him and trust me when i say it was as chaotic as the first time .

' Adikansh '

Five years later -

"Move this side ." Aakriti said pushing Adikansh .

"No you move ." Adikansh said pushing akriti .

"Both of you come here ." Samaira said making them both giggle while Akriti ran to Aniket's arms and Adikansh to Samaira's.

"Smile ." The photographer said as he clicked a family picture of all of us together. Now our family was complete.

Now this was the happily ever after they always desired for ~
