Fine fine ! It's not like you are a book character on whose words i may scream . Go and get lemonade for me and that is your queen's order ! She said stuttering and bluffing .

I will get you a lemonade but not as a queen's order because I want you to order me as a queen in full consciousness so that i know that my queen has accepted her king ! I said

Fine fine ! Whatever so whatever you want just leave me alone ! She said and plopped herself on the bed . I went downstairs and made her a lemonade but till the time i came upstairs she was already asleep so rather than disturbing her i just pulled the covers on her and turned off the lights and kept the lemonade on the side table with a coaster .

Samaira's pov

I don't know what i was doing cutting an onion to cry or just for crying cutting an onion i literally had no idea .

I was here regretting everything i have said because this husband of mine has been irritating me and teasing me from the second i woke up .

Tum ek baat batao mujhe ? He asked me .

Kya ? Jab piya nahi jaata toh heroine kyu baani ? He asked me

I saved you from being intoxicated and you are interrogating me ? I asked him looking offended.

Well it turned out that she mixed nothing in that drink ! He said

What not now ? He sang jumping from his chair and i just picked up the butter knife and pointed it to his neck .

I will kill you ! I said giving him you will die in sign language.

With your beauty ? He asked and i melted a little .

No ! No buttering ! Idiot ! I said

Well it's a butter knife what else do you expect? He asked me

Maa ek baat batao ? I asked her curiously

Yeh Jo karva chauth ka vrat hai yeh sirf patniya hi kyu rakhe . I mean pati kyu nahi rakh sakte ! Socho hum unke liye vrat rakh rakhkar unki Umar bada de aur khud hi jaldi maar Jaye ! Haww ! I asked her and then sighed

( What do we keep fasts on karvacauth for our husbands only . I mean to say what don't husbands also fast for us ! Think about it we keep fasts for them and increase their life span and ourselves due young ! )

I picked a pillow from the couch and threw it directly on his face and it landed perfectly but instead of getting angry and running behind me to hit me back he laughed and laughed into the pillow .

Well it's a ritual which has been derived from years passed so i think it may have some integrity to it . He sensible replied but that wasn't enough for my small brain to get and process .

Yelo ek aur aagaya ! Maa said and my eyes straight went to the stairs because the person left was him . Divya was sleeping and there was no way it could have been her .

Aniket ! What are you doing here ! I asked him then stuffing my face the piece of bread i had in my hand .

Kuch nahi baas bukh lag Rahi thi aur plus aap sab itni awaz kar rahe the ki need khul gayi ! He replied looking here and there and then sitting on the chair beside me .

( Nothing i just felt hungry plus you guys were being so loud that i woke up ! )

Suspicious ! Divyank bhai was the first one to call him out . To be honest it was pretty difficult to make out if he was really fasting or just hungry because he gets up at 5:40 in the morning so it can really be that he was hungry and we were actually being too loud to be honest !

I ate my serving and went upstairs and slept the next second because sleep in very important.

I woke up around 12:30 at evening. As usual he was no where to be found which was very expected of him .

I went downstairs and picked up a bottle of water and opened it but before i could drink it someone pulled the water bottle from my hands .

Wha-- ohh ! I exclaimed

What are you doing ! Samaira if you can't stay hungry and thirsty then you should have kept it have a little shame this single drop of water could have been the reason to my death ! He said focusing and highlighting every single dramatically.

Ohh sorry i forgot for that you will have to get a plastic surgery because you look like those reel boys ! I said and quickly ran from there .

It was now 4 in the afternoon so i went ahead and got ready for the Pooja .

He came bursting in the room .

You sacred me aniket ! Have some shame ! What if i fainted ? I said with a mocking expression.

Pooja ka time ho gya hai side ho ! I said parting my gaze from him .

Run as much as you want but i won't let you run for long ! He whispered in my ears and i went from there .

The Pooja was over and we were patiently waiting for the moon to rise . Well you can say we were not exactly very patient.

This moon i tell you ! It shows up every day on time but today it needs to be late ! We have to pamper him first ! I said because I was already frustrated of the hunger and it was almost 10:30 and there was no trace of moon here .

Aniket you eat something! You Haven't eaten anything from the morning! Maa said to aniket

( Mom he won't eat he is fasting )

Ohh ! Nahi batana tha kya ? He scratched his head as if he was clueless that i didn't know that he was fasting .

Guys guys ! Chaand aagyaa ! Pragya shouted and yes the moon was finally here after testing our patience from so long !

( The moon has risen ! )

I lit up the diya and did the Pooja . Then he made me drink water and i too gave some water and then it was time to eat !!

Guyss ! Please chalo bohot bhukh lag rahi hai mai kahi mar na jau ! Divyank bhai said and all of us went downstairs to eat .
