Banno re ,

Banno meri chali sasural ko.

Ankhiyon mai paani se gayi ,

Dua mai meethi gud dhaani le gayi.

Guddiya re ,

Guddiya tera Gudda pardesiya .

Jodi aasmani hogayi ,

Shagun mai dekho shadmani hogayi .

Re fakira yu na jaa .

The preparations in the Raj Mahal had started .

The whole raj mahal was being decorated like a bride why wouldn't it be it was the wedding of the future King of jaipur ANIKET SINGH RATHORE .

"Vedansh and Aadya stop running you little mutts ." A calm and soothing voice which now sounded a little angry could be heard with some huffs as those little troublemakers were running with her laptop in the whole mansion .

"No bua we won't stop . Run Vedu before she catches us ." Aadya stated to her bua running behind them both to stop them as those little troublemakers kept giggling and running .

"You both ." Samaira sharma yelled at the kids while running to catch them as they were running with her so-called husband her laptop .

While running Samaira bumped into someone .

"Ouchhhh ." She hissed in pain .

"Are you okay Samaira?" A calm  manly voice was heard from the other side of the one who held her from her shoulders .

"Yes jiju i am fine could you just help me in stopping those little mutts running with my computer ." Samira said to her to be jiju Aniket singh rathore .

"Sure but i think you should work on your language in the Raj Mahal ." Aniket said leaving her making her stand on her own .

"Yeah sure whatever . Now would you help me .We can solve the issue of my language later ." She said giving me her classic side eye .

"Why should I help you by the way ?" He asked with a playful tone .

"Well because you are marrying my sister and i have mehendi on my hands which my mother pressured me to put on ." Samaira said and the realisation hit hard even though it was pretty late it still hit and Samaira widened her eyes in horror looking at his clothes .

"Ohhh fuck . Your kurta . It's probably going to get stained because of the mehendi ." She said regretting for staining his kurta a little bit but  who was she kidding he has a whole house full of kurtas .

"Really again ? Get a hold of your tongue and no worries about my kurta i was about to change for the Sangeet either way too ." He said not fased about it .

"Well Good for you because my sorry is either way too expensive for you anyways so could you quickly get my laptop i have a case to work on ." She said shooing him off .

"Yeah sure ." He said as now he didn't want to lose his mind talking to her .

Samaira's pov -

He came after a few minutes with my laptop . Thank God my husband is safe .

"Thank you . Are you okay my love ?"I asked caressing my laptop .

"No problem. "He said looking at me in disbelief as i was calling my laptop my love .

I hummed and ran from there like the speed of light and a faint laugh could be heard from his side .

Well you all may already know but you have the right to know more right .. ?

I am Samaira Sharma a historical archaeologist . I am here to attend my elder sister Piya's wedding . She is getting married to the Raj gharana and because of that I have to work from here .

Today is the mehendi and Sangeet and tomorrow is the haldi in the morning and after that the wedding at night .

Time skip -

"Beta , Are you ready for the Sangeet ?" My mother asked while opening the door but seeing me still in my pajamas and working she was left horrified .

"Oh my god Samaira why aren't you ready till now it's already 7 pm ?" She asked showing me the clock .

"Chill mumma i was working on a case i will be ready in no time you know your daughter don't you ." I said making her calm down and giving her a pasty smile .

"Yeah I know my daughter very well . DARE YOU SHOW UP IN A CROP TOP AND JEANS AND I WILL END YOU ." Mumma said warning me making me chuckle .

"Geez woman i will not show up to the function only is that okay then ?"

I said while holding my laughter knowing that i am going to get a good scolding from her side .

"Get a hold of your tongue your in-laws will die after hearing it ." Mumma said looking at me in disbelief .

"She is still a kid Sachi stop scolding my daughter ." Papa said entering the room .

"Papa , Finally my love is here ." I said dramatically and got and hugged him .

"Drama queen and her supporter ." Mumma said looking at me and papa .

"Your mother is right in a way beta you should get ready quickly ." Papa said and i listened to him in one go .

"Yes sir right on the mission . " I said trying to be serious which is very hard for me to be .

"You are seriously your dad's princess and my headache ." Mumma said while leaving the room .

"Get ready Samaira before she turns all angsty and kills us all . Then all of us will be dead meat ." Papa said making me laugh .

"Yes sir ." I said stomping my feet and saluting him and then he left the room .

I started to get ready and got ready in half an hour and went downstairs .

Samaira's look -

I went downstairs and asked my mumma where my didi was .

"She is in her room samu . Go and get her ." Mumma said and i left from there to meet my sister .

PIYA SHARMA

I went to her room and she was sitting there fully ready but for some reason she looked sad and as if she was in deep thinking .

"Bhuuuuu ." I scared her trying to get a reaction from her as she used to get all shocked by it when I used to do it before .

But to my surprise she didn't even flinch this time .

"Di are you okay ? You are making me worried . Is something wrong ?" I asked throwing all kinds of questions at her because she meant the world to me .

"I am fine Samu ." She said in a very sad and anxious tone .

"Di is something troubling you ?" I asked her again bending down to her level .

"Yes . I mean no i am fine . Can I ask you something ? I need you to advise me on something ." She asked while looking up at me .

"Yeah sure go ahead ." I replied as i am the ultimate advisor of the family .

"What would you have chosen ?"

"Your true love ..

Who makes you feel happy and special .."

OR

"Someone you are forced to love .

For the sake of others happiness ." She asked making me narrow my eyebrows .

"What kind of question even is that di ? Obviously true love . The one who makes me feel happy and special . It is very difficult to find true love in this world . If you find him then never let him go ." I said and she calmed down a little .

"It is jiju right ?" I asked teasing her .

"Yes of course who else can it be Samu ." She said while faking a smile which i somehow failed to notice.

"Ok let's go ." I said holding her hand and taking her downstairs .

We went downstairs and enjoyed the function . Many dance performances were given . I am a classical dancer but i am very shy so i didn't dance and Just like that the night was over .

In the morning -

"Samu wake up baacha it's your sister's haldi baache and you are still dead asleep that too on the couch ." Mumma said entering the room and opening the curtains of my room .

"Yes mumma i am already up don't worry i will be down there in no time . "I said  in a sleepy tone and went to take a bath and then got ready for my sister's haldi .

I wouldn't sacrifice my sleep for the world but for her I guess i could sacrifice everything because she was the one after maa and papa who had looked after me since my childhood .

Samaira's look -

I went downstairs and saw everyone putting haldi on Piya di and Aniket .

"Come samu ." Di said and she looked very happy and cheerful and a smile also made its way to my face seeing her this happy .

"Yeah coming ". I said and went there and bent down to her level but before i could have applied haldi to her a voice interrupted .

"Bua ." A cute voice could be heard making me smile to my ears .

"Stop ignoring me bua I love you  i am sorry for yesterday ." Aadya said with her pleading eyes which are always very hard to resist making everyone aww at her innocence .

"I already forgave you baby . I was just playing with you ." I said while taking her in my embrace and applying haldi to piya di .

"Apply haldi to your jiju too you pig ." Said my annoying brother .

"Yes i was about to , you idiot cockroach ." I said .

"Samaira ." Said my cute bhabhi .

"He is not an idiot he is a dumbass ." Bhabhi said laughing while the expressions on my brother's face changed .

"See my partner in crime ." I high-fived her .

After applying haldi to aniket jiju someone mistakenly spilled the leftover haldi in Di's haldi pot on me .

"Ohooo . Sachi ji looks like she is next in line for marriage ." Aarti rani sa said to my mother teasing her .

"Rani sa don't put ideas in her head if it was according to her she would have gotten me married today only ." I said making everyone laugh .

I was going to take a shower and get ready for the wedding when piya didi stopped  and hugged me .

"You seriously are the best advisor Samu . Because of you i made my decision ." She said hugging me tight making me hug her back while smiling .

"What Decision di ?" I asked breaking our hug .

"Nothing samu . " She said while breaking the hug .

"And i am also sorry ." She said in a low voice .

"For what ?" Before I could ask her she disappeared faster than the speed of light.

"I thought that was my trick to escape from humans . I said talking to myself and sulking .

I left from there and went back to my room and took a shower and started to get ready for the wedding as it was a Shahi shaadi i had to look my best then Maybe a few boys would fall for me and I would be able to make a dent in my single life .

Samaira's look -

While getting ready a voice interrupted my thoughts .

"Samu betaa ." My mother came to my room huffing and sweating .

"Mumma what happened ?" I asked tensed seeing her like that.

"Samaira we can't find your sister . Her door is closed from inside and is not opening i am so tensed .What do we do now samu if people get to know their whole reputation will tarnish . " She said on the verge of tears dropping from her eyes .

"What if she has done something to her and that's why her door is not opening ." She said crying sitting down on the bed .

"Mumma don't worry i will see what the problem is . You have water first ." I told her to calm down and ran out of the room to see what the matter was .
