Samaira's pov -

"How does your mind even work like that divu ?" I asked not knowing that someone except us three was listening to this plan of ours .

"Bhabhi , You have no idea about how intelligent i am ." She said feeling proud of herself .

"You are a tubelight chipkali ." Divyank bhai said .

We all were discussing the plan when maa called me and divya .

"You are not ready till now samaira and you too divu . God knows from where I got these children who don't bother listening to me . Now go and get ready fast !" Maa said or so declared and we ran from there before maa could kill us as just from her one intense gaze .

Samaira's Look -

"Let's go maa . I am ready !" I told her coming downstairs .

"Yes finally let's go ! Get the cars out pragya and samaira ." Maa said .

"On it madam !" We said and ran out of the mansion giggling .

All of us sat in the car . We required two cars as we had to pick up chachi , mami and bhabhi's mother . I specially informed them to not call my mom until di and advait jiju come as i didn't want any more drama to take place right now .

We went and brought a lot of things . Pragya di and divu has become my besties . We three are inseparable .

When suddenly mom asked to take her to a jewellery store .

"Samaira beta ! How is this ring ?" She asked showing me a ring .

"It's beautiful maa ! It will look fabulous on you ." I said but she put it on my palm instead .

"Not for me you idiot . It's for you ." She said and i looked at her .

"Maa ! Absolutely no . Please i don't want any ring . I have you all and That's the biggest gem of my life ." I said dragging her out of the store but mothers will be mothers .

"You won't listen to me now ! It's okay ! Who even am i too you ? Maa said and it was very clear that she was trying to blackmail me and it was clearly working .

"Maa , Ok fine . I will let you buy that ring for me but don't think i am letting you go this cheap ." I said raising my eyebrows to which she chuckled .

"Haan beta , humne tumhe apni sabse kimti cheez apna beta dediya . Woh kaafi nahi hai kya ?" She asked  laughing and giggling while I bit the inner lining of my cheeks to prevent myself from smiling and blushing but everyone noticed it so i was exposed .

( Yes my child , i gave you my most precious thing my son . Isn't that enough ? )

"Maa aap bhi na ." I said digging my face in her shoulder because I felt embarrassed and she brought the ring and we all left from the shop back to the car .

Samaira's ring -

"Samaira di you are not allergic to any kind of colours right ?" Divya asked .

"No i am not . Why ?" I asked with curiosity while she and pragya bhabhi only looked at each other and laughed .

"I swear , If you both are making some kind of idea to prank me . I will kill you both ." I said gritting my teeth trying to scare them well in my defence it works with my employees .

"No , We just asked because bhai only plays with pakka colours ." She said but i knew something was definitely off .

We brought everything needed for the Pooja and the Holi day celebration . We left at around 6 in the evening and now it was about to be 11 at night which all of us failed to notice .

We thought that it would be better to just leave the phones in the cars rather than carrying them everyone around with us but who knew it would become a mistake we all would regret .

We were exhausted and hungry so we decided to stop by a restaurant owned by us only .

Actually maa denied to take any of the royal cars as she prefers to not be given special treatment . So we were all alone and they had never been out that late alone before so all the men in the house were panic stricken worried about their wives and daughters .

Aniket's pov -

I was becoming more and more worried about them all . About where they were . What if something happened to them ? Negative thoughts were coming to my mind when none of them were picking up any of our calls . I called every single place i knew and asked all the bodyguards to search for them .

I was experiencing a feeling i never did before the feeling of losing someone you love .

"Wait a minute do i love her ?" I asked myself .

"No that can't be possible right ?" I asked myself again .

"Why can't it be possible ?" A voice came from inside me .

"Mumma , Pragya , Divya , Samaira no one is picking up our calls ." Divyank said throwing his phone on the couch .

"Same here ." Papa said .

"That's it papa , it's already 11 . They have never been this late before  ." I said when someone called from one of my restaurants .

"Sir , All of the Rathore women are here only ." He said on the call .

"Thank you so much Amit !  You have no idea how worried we were . Could you give your phone to Samaira mam for a minute ." I asked .

"Yes sure , Sir ." He said and handed his phone over to my lovely wife who had no intentions of informing me about her whereabouts .

On the phone - ( OTP )

"Hello , Whose there ?" She asked on the call .

"Your husband Mrs Rathore ! Where the fuck are all of your all's phones ? Did you throw them off a cliff or lost all of them together at once ?" I asked in my furious tone .

"Actu- " She was about to say something but i was not in the mood to hear anything today .

"I need you all home in the next twenty minutes ." I said and cut the call .

"Where are they ?" Papa asked .

"At a restaurant ." I informed them .

"Couldn't they have informed us at least ?" Divyank asked .

"Let them come home today . I will teach your mom a very good lesson ." Papa said but the kids didn't agree with his statement because they know how scared their father gets in front of their mother .

"Papa you may be the king but in front of mumma you become a raccoon ." Divyank said laughing to which i joined too .

"Exactly !" I joined him in his joke .

"Cause i love her and respect her !" He replied in a very calm and sweet voice which reflected his love and respect for maa .

Samaira's pov -

"How rude ! He didn't even let me finish ." I said in a low tone to myself but I guess i said it out loud .

"What happened ?" Maa asked .

"They are worried sick about us maa and want us there within 20 minutes . So let's leave fast ." I said to which they all agreed we dropped mami , chachi and pragya di's mother at their respective houses and it didn't take long because they were close to ours only and then we left for our house .

Soon we reached our house .

As soon as we entered the house maa and Divya were welcomed hugged by papa and so was bhabi and then they asked where they were while my husband looked at me like he would eat me alive any moment .

"Where were you ?" He asked with his arms crossed approaching me .

I told him the whole story to which he listened very carefully .

"So you are telling me that a wet raccoon crossed the road so that's why you got late ?" He asked and i smiled nodding and fooling him with the fake story I just made .

"Grow up samaira ! You are still a kid ." He said .

"If I am a kid then you are an uncle ." I said raising my eyebrows and we both started bickering like little kids .

"Did you all eat ?" Maa asked the men in the house .

"No !" Papa said while i looked at aniket with disbelief .

"Why ?" Maa asked .

"We couldn't eat without our wives but i have to admit you made us worried sick and we forgot to eat ." Divyank bhai said while bhabhi looked at him lovingly .

"Where is that little idiot ?" Bhabhi asked .

"Sleeping !" Bhai said side hugging bhabhi while I was busy giving Aniket weird looks .

"Oh my god ! I feel so single right now . No one waited for me ." Divya said fake crying and tried to show that she was feeling very offended by all of this .

"Yeah because we got you from the trashcan meaning you are useless ." Bhai said which resulted in a pillow thrown at him by Divya  while we all laughed .

We all went and sat while the men of the house ate food and we all told them about how our day was .

I would be lying if i said that this was probably not the most i have ever laughed in my whole life in one day .

"Samira ! Beta tomorrow is Holika dehen so wake up around 10 or close to that . It's your first Holi we have a lot of things to do ." Maa said to which i nodded .

"Sure maa . I would be up till then and fully decked up . Just wait and watch ." I said smiling to which she giggled and then we all left to our respective rooms .

He was going to lay down at the couch when i interrupted him .

"So Mr Rathore curses ?" I asked him mockingly .

"So Mrs Rathore made Mr Rathore curse because she decide to make him worried by not answering his calls ." He replied with the same cheeky tone  I used on him .

"Mr Rathore schools others when they curse and now is getting angry like a little child . Aww ." I said making faces trying my best to piss him off because I had enough of him schooling me everyday whenever I cursed .

"When will Mrs Rathore learn to atleast listen to what Mr Rathore has to say . Because whatever he says is for her good because he cares ." He said but then looked at me and I smiled in victory .

"Okay jokes aside now ! You can sleep on the bed ." I said .

"No you sleep on it . I am fine here ." He said laying down covering himself with the sheets .

"I mean you can sleep on the bed with me . Only if you are comfortable ." I said .

"Are you sure ?" He asked .

"I trust you that's why I am asking you to share the bed otherwise I would have never asked you in the first place . Now come before i change my mind ." I said while laying down on the bed .

"Okay then !" He said and laid down beside me while i shifted a little to give him space even though there was tons of space between us .

"Don't worry ! I won't eat you ." He said and turned of the lights .

"Good night !" I said .

"Evolution from bad night to good night ! I see Mrs Rathore ." He said  smirking .

"We are humans so we have to evolve to fit in our surroundings now shut up and sleep ." I said and turned my back on him .

"Good night to you too !" He said .

Then as usual sleep took over us .
