I started getting headaches and pinched at my palm, âWhat do you want?â
âI just missed you!â He answered crisply.
He just disappeared after having that fight with Dennis, so I thought I could finally have some quiet time of myself, but now this thought seemed naïve.
âIâve got to go if you donât have anything else to say.â Dennis was already a handful to me, so I really didnât get time to circle around with Leo.
He giggled, âDonât you miss me?â
âHow crazy are you!â Then I just hung up the phone and felt annoyed.
Then I lay on the steering wheel to cool off.
But then the car window was knocked on and I saw Toby standing next to the car with a darkened face.
After rolling down the window, Toby said to be respectfully, âMiss Kennedy, president George asked me to pick you up!â
Why was Dennis always haunting at me!
âI told him that I wonât go there!â My tone wasnât exactly nice since I was suppressing my inner anger.
Toby remained cold-faced, âPresident George asked me to pick you up!â
I got irritated, âI know. Iâll go there myself later, okay?â
âIâll drive you there!â
I instantly collapsed and hit on the driving wheel violently.
Glaring at Toby, I shouted, âGet out of the way!â
He moved over and waited for me to get out of the car.
I felt like I was about to be driven crazy by Dennis.
After stepping out of the door, Toby said drily, âMiss Kennedy, please follow me.â
Getting on the black Bentley, I was still fuming, but I clearly canât vent my anger to Toby.
I jumped off the car when we arrived at the hospital and went straight to Dennisâ ward.
Mario, Marcus and Olivia were all there.
Since I just showed up abruptly, they were all shocked.
I glanced at Dennis and then scanned around, âYou can all leave if you donât have anything to do here!â
Well, I canât just yell at Dennis while they were all in the room.
Mario can always read the room and just left after pausing for a bit.
Olivia frowned at me, âClara, why didnât you knock? Where are your manners?â
âAre you doing something inappropriate here? Miss Pearson?â Why should I knock as the room was wide open?
Oliviaâs face went crimson red, âClara, how shameless are you!â
I immediately retorted, âHow about you, Miss Pearson? The reason that you are pestering at Dennis all the time was that you find him quite inviting after I slept with him?â
âClara, you...â
I sneered, âWhat else then? Mr. Thomas and Doctor Bennet all seemed nice. Oh, right. Doctor Bennett certainly wouldnât find any good in you. Well, Mr. Thomson is clearly head over heels in love with you. Why donât you give him more attention? Or you just enjoyed him running after you?â
Marcus looked angry, âClara, watch your language!â
I grinned, âWell, how hilarious, Mr. Thomson. Did I touch your raw nerve?â
âThatâs enough!â Dennis spoke out and looked at Marcus and Olivia, âLeave us alone.â
Though they were pissed off, they didnât say anything and just left after hesitating for a while.
Me and Dennis were then left in the room.
Eyes met, he was cold-faced and didnât seem to be too angry.
He the raised his eyebrows, âWhatâs wrong?â
I sounded cross as I was choked with resentment, âDidnât you ask me to have dinner with you?â
âWhat do you want to eat?â Did he just drag me all the way here and ask me this question?
âDennis, how boring are you?â
âYou can well ask your precious Olivia to accompany you if you are feeling lonely. Iâm quite busy and has no time to babysit you, okay?â
Dennis stared at me silently for a long time.
I got nervous and stepped back.
His look then grew dark and even ferocious, âYou donât want to accompany me?â
I dropped my eyes, âYes!â
Then I paused, âIâm in a bad mood today and donât have the energy to have fun with you.â
He then suddenly gripped my wrist and drew me closer to him, âAre you upset because I got hurt for Olivia?â
âNo!â Iâd got used to this kind of thing over these years and certainly wouldnât get angry for this.
He then landed his eyes on my belly and stroked it, âIs it because of the baby?â
I rolled my eyes at him and didnât say anything.
Toby then came in with several thermal containers and brought out a variety of dishes.
After laying out all the dishes on the table, he asked Dennis, âPresident George, do you need anything else?â
Dennis shook his head, âNo. Iâll let you go.â
After Toby left, Dennis said to me, âThese dishes are all your favorites!â
Well, he was true.
As I was pretty hungry, I just hesitated for a minute and started eating.
Then I felt creepy as he was staring at me, so I asked, âArenât you eating?â
He raised his eyebrows and glanced at the tube on his arm, signaling that he was inconvenient.
Though I knew that he meant me to feed him, I pretended that I didnât understand him and continued eating.
After a while, I started getting full. Seeing that he was still gazing at me, I got embarrassed and picked some veggies.
Then I said to him, âOpen your mouth!â
He was pretty obedient and acted like a baby the whole time.
After finishing the food, I muttered, âI canât fall asleep here, so I donât want to stay here tonight.â
I had no choice last night, but tonight, I really didnât feel like staying over.
He nodded, âYour leftovers are pretty yummy.â
I was in bewilderment at first, but then I figured out what he was talking about.
I glared at him. âAre you proud of yourself? Dennis?â
âNah, I just enjoyed eating your... leftovers!â
How bored was he!
I directly ignored him and tidied up all the dishes.
Then I said to him, âIâll go home now.â
He then clutched at my hands, âSo you are just leaving me to the hospital alone?â
âYou can call Olivia!â
He frowned, âWhat are you hurrying for? Are you off to see someone else? Is it Luis? Or Leo?â
I directly flung his arms away, âCanât I get myself a confidant as you got yourself a lover? How bossy are you?â
He looked serious, but I just got even more furious when I thought about Olivia, âPlus, you have already slept together with Miss Pearson. I was just having dinner with my friends and did nothing inappropriate. What are you worried for? Iâm way cleaner than you!â
Please Love Me, Mr. George ï¤Chapter 86 Olivia Started Acting Up âWay cleaner?â He sneered and grew indifferent, âWell, let me have a look then.â
