âWhy are you turning back?â I asked.
He should be working in his company at that time. The problems of scandal and stock were under control, but there was still a lot to do.
He walked toward me and smiled, âYou are so beautiful.â
He didnât answer my question! I pursed my lips and walked toward him, âFolly is getting married. She asked me to be her bridesmaid."
That kind of explained why I was dressed like this.
He nodded and said gently, âLetâs go together.â
Then he looked at three other people, âThank you for helping her. My wife will go with me.â
The three nodded and went back to their car.
The girl was kind of surprised. She whispered to her partners, âI thought it was gossip. Miss Clara is really the wife of Mr. Dennis.â
Seeing them leaving, I looked back at Dennis, âDon't you have to go to the company?"
After all, it was noon on a weekday.
âIâm not too busy to attend a wedding ceremony with my wife.â He smiled.
After getting in the car, he draped his jacket over me and spoke slightly, "It's cold outside."
I nodded and grinned, âItâs really a nice day.â
Then we went to the ceremony together.
Folly was a woman who loves freedom, so she chose a five-star hotel outside the church.
Only plum blossoms and some chrysanthemums could be found in City P, so her family bought all the flowers that could bloom from all over the country. The open-air wedding venue looked like a city surrounded by flowers.
I was attracted by the flowers before getting off, so I leaned out of the window to look outside.
I was in a good mood, âI have never seen so many flowers before!â
Dennis put his hand on my forehead. I looked back at him and smiled. I knew he was worried about me bumping into the window.
He smiled, âYou can see them in the car.â
He parked his car and walked to the hotel with me.
Then we saw the red carpet on the floor. Walking ahead, personnel in suits and ties are waiting there to take us in.
We ate lunch at noon. The wedding ceremony would start in the afternoon.
âI'm kind of looking forward to this wedding ceremony." As I walked with Dennis, I spoke in a whisper.
While I was speaking, I was looking at the golden roses beside the red carpet, permeating with an atmosphere of passion. It was only the way to the wedding.
Thinking about I would be the bridesmaid, I said, âThe ceremony must be so beautiful! Iâll follow the bride later, and I'll definitely see a different view from you.â
He smiled, âThere is a fruit forest behind the hotel. We can go for a walk later.â
He had probably known what I was thinking about, âWe just bought the trees from Switzerland, and there is still fruit on them, so you can eat them."
I was surprised and happy, âWhy do you know?â
He smiled and walked into the hotel with me.
Seeing the large flower clusters at the gate, I was greatly excited. Being worried that I would be laughed at by others, I pretended to be calm.
Dennis knew me, so he smiled, âThose are from Britain. They are decorated by peacock feathers, meaning happiness and peace."
I said, âItâs definitely not Follyâs idea.â
He smiled, âItâs her familyâs.â
Then we saw Folly. She was wearing a beautiful fluffy wedding dress, the hemline of which was stretched out behind her when she walked.
She held me tightly, âWow, honey, you are so beautiful! I am right to choose you as my bridesmaid."
I smiled and looked at her dress, âWe want a traditional ceremony. I thought you would wear a phoenix crown."
Please Love Me, Mr. George ï¤Chapter 387 Resentment Buried in the Heart 11 She shrugged, âHow about this wedding dress?â
I said, âReally beautiful!â
Then she answered my question, âI was intended to have a western wedding, but Zackâs parents thought we should have a traditional ceremony, so the scene was designed as such. And I will change my wedding dress into traditional clothes.â
Then she sighed and said, âYou have to change it later, too. I'll only be able to wear my fancy wedding dress for one afternoon."
Zack walked toward us. He was wearing a white suit, looking so handsome and gentle.
âYou can eat something first. Guests will come later,â said Zack.
âYou are right! We have to meet guests!â said Folly, âLetâs eat something!â
Dennis was still standing beside me. Folly looked at him and said, âYour wife is ming today, Dennis. Mario and Marcus are in the meeting room. There is a chess room and tea room. Have a nice day!â
