ALL I WANT IS YOU | hector fort537 words~3 min read

The drive back to Gianna's place felt different than before. There was a quiet ease between her and Hector now, a new kind of connection that neither of them could quite name but both felt deeply. They had been through so many moments together, but tonight-tonight felt like the start of something fresh, something that was finally clicking into place.

As Hector turned the car into her street, Gianna glanced out the window, her thoughts swirling in a whirlwind of excitement, nerves, and anticipation. She felt like she was walking on air, like everything had changed in the span of a few hours. The weight of Hector's confession, the laughter they shared, and the way he looked at her now-it was all so surreal.

He parked in front of her house, the streetlights casting a soft glow over the surroundings. The car's engine hummed quietly, the only sound between them as the moment lingered.

Gianna unbuckled her seatbelt, but before she could open the door, Hector turned to her with a small, warm smile.

"I had a good time tonight, Giu," he said softly, his eyes locked onto hers. "Really."

Her heart skipped a beat. She smiled back, a feeling of contentment washing over her. "Same here, Fort," she said with a hint of playfulness, her voice carrying the same lightness that had been there all evening.

There was a moment of silence between them, but it wasn't uncomfortable. It felt like a moment suspended in time, like neither of them wanted it to end. But it had to. The night had to end.

Hector's smile softened, and without a word, he leaned in. Gianna felt her breath catch in her throat as he gently kissed her on the cheek, his lips lingering for a brief second. The warmth of his touch spread through her, and she felt a flutter in her chest that left her breathless.

He pulled back just slightly, his gaze lingering on her face, searching her eyes. "Goodnight, hermosa," he said, his voice low and tender, more serious now than it had been all evening.

Gianna's breath caught in her throat, a heat rising to her cheeks. "Goodnight, Hector," she replied softly, her voice barely a whisper.

With one last look, Hector opened his door and stepped out of the car, rounding it to come to her side. He stood there for a moment, watching her, as though savoring the moment before he turned to walk away.

Gianna stayed in the car for a moment longer, her fingers lightly touching her cheek where he had kissed her. A soft smile tugged at her lips, and for the first time in a long time, she felt like everything was just... right.

As Hector disappeared into the night, Gianna stayed there for a few moments longer, just absorbing everything. The date had been perfect-more than she had ever imagined-and the feelings bubbling inside her were both exciting and terrifying. But one thing was for sure: tonight had changed everything.

With a sigh, Gianna stepped out of the car and walked inside, her heart light, her thoughts racing. As she closed the door behind her, she leaned against it for a second, her smile never fading.
