When you complain of not getting admission to the university of your choice, you end up not been a serious student and feel maybe you should just apply to the school of your choice.
What if you don't get that admission?
Every disappointment is a blessing. This new school might just be the best thing that is going to happen in your life. You might meet with your life partner or an ever lasting best friend or even come up with a business because of the opportunity in that environment. You might even get to discover your talent and join other activities. Just look at the bright side of life in every sticky situation you find yourself.
Dress comfy and dressy. I remember I wore a white attire when I was doing my registration. I looked like I rolled in the mud when I was done with that day's task. I couldn't wait to go back home. It was a great lesson for me. I saw some girls wearing heels but ended up looking like they were wearing a cowboy boot in sahara dessert.
Ask questions because you might think administrative block is just two steps away from you until it looks like you are going to Korea. Ask the person if it is okay if you take a bike or you trek.
Be polite while asking questions. It can be really frustrating because while you are stopping some to ask, they are in a hurry to attend the next lecture.
I also remember paying my transport in excess. I overpaid a bikeman for a distance that wasn't really worth it. It was an eye opener and wouldn't want anyone to fall into that.
