Chapter 18 of 23

Appearance

University Life In Nigeria321 words~2 min read

You as student(s) have to really concentrate in your appearance. You are going to meet people with their personality which is going to show in some of their dressings.  I don't think students dress indecently in tertiary institutions. That's my thought.

Just because you have only five clothes doesn't mean you have to look haggard. It doesn't mean you wouldn't have your bathe or looking like someone that got into boko haram hands.

You can look neat in only five clothes. Wash them and iron them. Wash your body too and have good deodorants/anti sweats. Dress and look good. This applies to both male and female.

You enter the library to read and the person next to you smells like spoilt egg/onions. That is very bad.

Some do not brush their teeth well. When you are clean, you become very confident. You can face anyone even the president of United States.

Just because you are a science student doesn't mean education starts and ends with you. It doesn't mean you have to look distasteful. Some science students in some schools dress horribly and are somehow identifiable. Just few make it look not stressful. Lol.

And just because there is an examination doesn't mean you should dress like you are the only one with examination. Read, slay and murder that paper. That's the beauty. I make sure I look my best during exam period. I gotta look attractive to the paper. Duh...the wahala is when I get hooked somewhere...lmao. But attractively dumb for that moment.

Nothing should stop you from looking your best. Look your best when you are failing. Lol.

Please look at the hygienic part of life in your stay in school. It doesn't take much to be in a clean state.

Even your room should have a good scent to it.

Just do not smell bad. It has a bad stigma effect on you and you loose friends too.
