Chapter 17 of 23

Result

University Life In Nigeria330 words~2 min read

I just do not know why everything in this country is not on time.

Can you imagine that even after you are done with your exams, you might end up seeing your result only when the next examination is about to start. Some even see theirs after the examination.

That is why I stress it out that tertiary institutions should only admit the number of students they are capable of handling.

Can anyone justify why students have to see their results after another semester?

*crickets sounds

Thank you.

How do you want the student to know his/her highs/lows? How do you want the student to face his/her parents when they ask of their results?

The timing in revealing result is wrong sometimes. Imagine releasing result when you are about to start another semester's own and you see that you failed a particular course or have missing script in one.

You are going to be very confuse  not knowing what yo do. You are confuse on whether to work on the missing script or the examination because postponing the missing script can have its consequence.

Please, let us try to be sensible in what we are doing. Let us know who we are dealing with. Let us respect one another and have a good flowing chart. We should be coordinated in our life.

Your mates who are targeting you will cram your matric  number to check your result. It doesn't matter who you are, there is someone out there in your business. Some people have time to copy your matrix number to check all your results. I wonder why some people do that. If it makes them feel better then they can continue. That is why you have to really read hard to disappoint anyone in your business.

Do not bother much about your result been placed after some days. You can survive any situation. That's what makes us Nigerians.

That is a lame excuse and motivational saga. Whatever.

I'm pissed.
