Bulk of people

When I got admission, I got discourage by the number of students in my class. I never thought I would ever sit throughout a semester with a seat to keep my butt.

The number of students given admission in the Nigerian institution is worrisome. You find out there are more than 300 students in a class and the venue that the lecture  will take place is not accommodative enough to cater for that number of students.

There is also lack of microphone/loudspeaker to aid hearing. A lecturer with tiny voice enters and you are left with the choice of straining your ears or forfeiting the lecture.

It was Soo bad that I had no choice but to be missing a particular class. The lecturer was kind enough to segment the class into two. He taught on different days just to make it easier for the both of us.

He was reasonable enough but not all can do that.

Admission should be given according to the capacity of the school. If the school cannot accommodate more than they can, then, admission shouldn't be given. They should then work on expanding their buildings.

I hope our tertiary institutions take note of all of these and work on them.
