âEhh... I passed?â
Seeing the spotted dog running in circles had struck Li Yi as a huge surprise.
âWoof... woof...â
Everest shook its little tail and constantly ran in circles in front of Li Yi.
Li Yi then raised his leg and kicked the spotted dog a dozen meters away.
âNice!â
The feeling of tormenting the mighty gods was unbelievably euphoric.
Not long after Li Yi had walked out of the palace, Fluttering Snow Purple Water Chestnut appeared beside him, with the spotted dog clutched to her chest.
She had also successfully cleared the Great Earth Godâs Palace, and the route she had chosen was identical to Li Yiâs.
Li Yi pointed to the spotted dog in Fluttering Snow Purple Water Chestnutâs embrace. âMiss Purple, donât tell me youâre attempting to steal a god.â
Ignoring Li Yiâs teasing, Fluttering Snow Purple Water Chestnut carried onward with the dog still in her arms.
After asking his party about their current progress, Li Yi learned that they had made little to no progress in the Seven Demon God Palace. Even after battling for so long, not a single demon god had been defeated, and the party was currently resting within the palace.
âJust keep on trying. Donât lose hope.â
After giving his instructions, Li Yi headed towards the next palace.
The next palace was called the Killing Godâs Palace.
Moments after Li Yi had entered the Killing Godâs Palace, The Mountain and Amber Sword Heart were teleported out of the Great Earth Godâs Palace at nearly the same time. They had cleared the stage as well.
At present, the gap between each participant was very minute, and aside from Ghostly Walker and the Weapon Warrior, whose whereabouts were unknown, each participant was within a dozen or so minutes of each otherâs advancement.
Within the Killing Godâs Palace, Li Yi encountered a blood-red ravenous beast that towered over five meters.
The God-killing Beast had attained its godhood through killing, and the more it killed, the stronger it would become.
âMortal, be careful. Make sure not to die to me, otherwise, youâll find my strength increased.â
The God-killing Beast issued a warning to Li Yi before the battle.
âFrom the looks of it, it appears that the only way to clear this stage was through brute force. Furthermore, from what the God-killing Beast had mentioned, the more I die to it, the stronger it would become. So, the best option is to finish it off in a single battle.â
âWater Clone!â
âBeast Soulâs Possession â Lightning Leopard!â
âWrathful Divine Thunder Strike!â
Now that he had understood the rules of the battle, Li Yi showed no mercy. He unleashed tens of thousands of thunderbolts at the start of the battle and attacked the God-killing Beast with full strength.
Moments later, the thunderbolts had stopped, and the God-killing Beast lay wide-eyed on the ground.
It had not died, but rather, it was paralyzed by Li Yiâs divine thunderbolts.
Ka-ch-ch-châ
The door at the back of the palace had opened. Li Yi had cleared the stage!
âMortal, your disgraceful tricks will only work once on me! When my body recovers, Iâll make sure to rip you to shreds!â The God-killing Beast spoke through its gritted teeth.
âYou wonât get the chance.â

This time, even after he had lingered outside of the palace for over 3 minutes, he still had not spotted Fluttering Snow Purple Water Chestnut.
It appeared that he was currently the fastest contestant.
The next palace was the Elemental Godsâ Palace. Only after Li Yi had entered it did he realize that there was not only a single Elemental God, but near a hundred of them.
Upon seeing the hundred-odd Elemental Gods as they played with the elements in their hands, Li Yiâs heart went tense.
âF*ck, how am I supposed to defeat so many of them?â
After observing the situation for a while, Li Yi noticed a peculiarity to the palace.
The back gate of the Elemental Godsâ Palace was not locked, and it was swung wide open.
âWhat does this mean? Do I just need to brute force my way through it?â
An idea ignited in Li Yiâs head, and he took out the red shoes he had obtained from the Illusion Godâs Palace.
After putting them on, Li Yi became invisible.
âis this all I need to do?â
With a wary mindset, Li Yi took large strides forward and made for the exit of the Elemental Godsâ Palace...
Li Yiâs body had been completely obscured, and all that could be seen of him were the pair of red shoes suspiciously walking forward.
Li Yi had gone completely unnoticed by the hundred-odd Elemental Gods, and just like that, Li Yi had cleared the Elemental Godsâ Palace with little to no risk.
âStage cleared!â
âThat was too easy!â
Crack!
The instant Li Yi had made it out of the palace, the red shoes under him reached their time limit and had shattered.
Li Yi smacked the back of his head. âF*ck me, can that spotted-dog of a Great Earth God be some kind of special tool to clear the stages ahead?â
Li Yi turned back around, and he noticed that he was now a long way away from the Great Earth Godâs Palace. Furthermore, even if he had wanted to, he could no longer return there.
The next palace was a massive maze. There were no gods within it, and after using twenty minutes, Li Yi had cleared the maze.
At present, Li Yi had already left the other competitors in the dust.
However, he still had not caught a glimpse of Ghostly Walker or the Weapon Warrior.
âCould they be faster than me?â
The doubt in Li Yiâs heart was beginning to fester.
Li Yi was clearing the stages at a terrifying speed, but even then, he still had not seen either Ghostly Walker or the Weapon Warrior.
As Murphyâs Law dictates, anything that can go wrong will go wrong. After Li Yi had successfully cleared the Elemental Palace with the red shoes, he constantly worried that the spotted dog had its use, and when he reached the Invention Godâs Palace, the dread was further amplified.
The god of the Invention Godâs Palace was none other than the beloved Dwarf goddess of Everest, Durarame.
Within the Invention Godâs Palace, plenty of paper planes zoomed about the place with no external assistance. Tons of explosives were littered about, weirdly shaped robots trundled in and out, and among all of this chaos, the Dwarf goddess, Durarame stood at its center.
âScram! The Invention Godâs Palace does not permit mortals to step within it.â Durarameâs temper was even worse than Everestâs, and the first sentence it stated was one that chased Li Yi out.
There was a nine out of ten chance where the gods would act this way, and as such, Li Yi was not surprised.
With a courteous nod of his head, Li Yi asked, âExcuse me, but how am I supposed to make it through this palace?â
âNot possible!â
Durarame waved its hand, and three four-legged robots who had lit explosives on top of their heads came rushing towards Li Yi.
Due to the urgency of the situation, Li Yi shouted, âEverest wants me to bring you a message! He says that he will always love you!â
âBlarghhh.... barf....â
Durarameâs reaction was outside of Li Yiâs expectations, as the moment the word âEverestâ reached Durarameâs ears, she began to convulse and vomit.
âCould Everestâs love be one-sided?â
âSigh, it really looks like it...â
The three Bombermen had already reached Li Yi. In order to protect himself, Li Yi took out his Engineering Wrench and began to dismantle the three Bombermen at breakneck speeds.
All Engineers that exist within the Pantheon Continent were Durarameâs disciples, and not even the Legendary Engineer Li Yi was excluded.
Durarame laughed as she vomited. âBlargh, you want to dismantle bombs crafted through my divine power? Hahaha, barf... Youâre so naïve!â
âKa-cha! Ka-cha! Ka-cha!â
Crash!
Crash!
Boom! Crash!
The three Bombermen had been ruthlessly dismantled by Li Yi, and with that, the signals on top of their head had extinguished. Following this, they were turned into scrap metal, dropping onto the ground.
âDismantling successful!â
âThis...This cannot be!â
