We head back and the place is a zoo.

I turn my head and Peter is standing there with Gideon, Eve and William.

“Hey. What’s up?” I ask. “Hey guys.”

“Where have you been?” Peter crosses his arms.

I thumb over my shoulder. “I went out for a bite. It’s nuts in here.”

“Don’t I know it. Lana’s having a fucking field day.” He blows a breath.

I place my hands on my hips. “Can I help you guys?”

Eve crosses her arms. “We wanted to see your Lycan program.”

My brows shoot up. “Oh…oh sure. Ok.” I smile. “Um…right now?”

“Whenever.” Gideon says.

“If you have time. We don’t want to keep you from anything.” William smiles.

“No. No, it’s fine. My timetables clear. Let’s go.” I wave them to follow.

Peter claps my back. “Ok. I’ll catch you later. I have to find my Luna before she breaks something…”

Just as he said that the hallway filled with children’s giggles. We all turn and Lana’s running through the mass of people. “You guys got to be faster than that!” She yells as she runs by.

“Lana!” Peter yells at her.

Then out of the crowd a little blonde girl and two smaller blonde boys run after her.

“We’re gonna get you!!” They all yell.

Peters eyes go wide. “LANA WHO GAVE YOU CHILDREN!” He turns to us. “Gotta go!”

He pushes through the people. “Lana!”

It’s getting a little harder to steal moments here and there, so I had to use the games as an excuse to get Lainey alone a lot more often.
