Chapter 689 Weâre Impressed Jean initiated the voting suddenly.
All the shareholders were dumbfounded. They were not sure whether to raise their hands or not.
Clarence was one of the people who held a high position in the Beauvort Group. On the other hand, they couldnât afford to mess up with Jean. They were in a dilemma.
Finally, someone who was highly respectable spoke up.
âThis is a serious offense but it is too hasty to vote immediately. Itâs better to vote for it another day.â
Jean frowned. He wanted this to end quickly. There would be changes the more it dragged on.
However, he agreed that voting on it now was indeed a bit hasty.
âSince everyone thinks so, then we will vote in three days. I hope every one of you will be able to make a good decision.â
Jean dismissed the meeting and returned to his office. Frederic followed him.
âJean, would it be too drastic for you to do this? Chipping away some of Clarenceâs power is enough to make him look bad.â
Frederic felt that it was wrong for Jean to do that but he didnât comment anything during the meeting.
Jean refused to give Clarence another chance. âItâs not that I didnât give him a chance previously. He doesnât know how to repent and he repeated his mistakes, which led to todayâs disaster. Even if I can tolerate him, justice wonât tolerate his wrongdoings.â
Frederic knew that he couldnât change Jeanâs mind.
âPeople will talk bad about you if you insist on doing this. You have given him 3 days now. He might secretly make a move to turn the tables around.â
âDonât worry. I have a way to deal with it.â
Frederic could only trust Jean after seeing his determination. You indeed have to be strict in running a company. Clarence had been a pain in the *ss. Itâs time to clean the mess.
All of the employees knew what happened in the meeting on the same day but they didnât panic. They werenât scared of losing their jobs because of the changes in the shareholders.
They trusted and were impressed by Jean.
Jean stayed in the office to deal with a few more urgent documents.
His headache was getting worse. He rubbed his temples and couldnât hide his exhaustion.
After washing his face, he took the medicine prescribed by Neera and prepared to take a nap.
However, a couple of shareholders approached him to talk about the meeting.
He had no chance to rest.
