Chapter 641 Coax Her
Neera went upstairs. After taking a shower and thinking about it, she still called Isabella.
âBell, do me a favor.â
Isabella was looking at the medical records. She turned on the speakerphone and put it on the table.
âYes, go ahead.â
âHelp me investigate the surveillance of the past few days and see what happened the day Mr. Garcia came to the ward for the last time.â
The police had contacted the hospital in advance.
So, Isabella also knew about Gladeonâs disappearance. She was stunned when she heard Neeraâs words and quickly picked up the phone.
âWhat do you mean? You want to care about the Garcia family again, do you?â
Neera looked out the window. âNo, I donât.â
âThen ignore it! Have you forgotten how they treated you before?â
Isabella felt Neera got wronged and persuaded Neera not to intervene, âMrs. Garcia pretended to be ill and made trouble. Itâs well known to everyone. Luckily, the nursing worker you hired isnât easy to bully, or sheâll get tortured! Mrs. Garcia only wants to lure you over and let your aunt come back! Donât be soft-hearted!â
Neera rubbed her brows. âI know about it. The nursing worker already told me. As long as Mrs. Garcia is alive, I wonât ask. As for Alfonso and the others, it doesnât matter whether theyâre alive. I wonât even ask. Although Mr. Garcia is missing, I still need to know the situation. If thereâs any accident, I can inform Aunt Adriana.â
After hearing that, Isabella said, âOkay, I can give you the video, but itâs only the surveillance at the ward door.â
She thought about it and told Neera, âThe Garcia family seemed to have argued inside that day. The nurses and patients passing by heard it but didnât know the details of the quarrel. Then Mr. Garcia came out. From the vÃdeo, he didnât look good and lost. I donât know what happened.â
Neera understood. âOkay, thanks.â
âYouâre welcome.â
They hung up the phone, and Isabella quickly sent Neera the video.
Neera opened it and found that it was real. Gladeon left the ward with a frustrated look. He lowered his head
and never came back.
After seeing that, Neera frowned deeply. The matter of the Garcia family was finally over, but another incident happened.
Neera hoped Adriana could live peacefully abroad and pursue her happy life. She would not let anything hold Adriana back!
Lying on the bed distracted, she was wondering where Gladeon could go.
Suddenly, Jeanâs message came over. âAre you asleep?â
Neera replied, âNot yet.â
Jean asked, âDo you want to come over? Iâll take you to the wine cellar. Letâs drink.â
Neera buried her face in the pillow and laughed muf fledly.
He knew she could not sleep, so he tried to coax her in various ways.
Feeling sweet, Neera sat up and tapped on the screen. âOkay, wait for me!â
Then, she casually put a coat over her pajamas and went to the next door.
Jean had already showered and was waiting for her in the hall in gray pajamas. Under the crystal chandelier, he looked a little lazy.
Seeing him patiently waiting for her, Neera felt her heart warm.
âItâs been a while since Iâve been in your wine cellar. Which good wine will we drink today?â Neera walked over and asked jokingly.
Jean raised his eyes slightly and stood up to hold her hand. âYou can pick whatever you want.â
They went into the wine cellar. Looking at the dazzling array of wine bottles, Neera was in trouble for a while.
She did not know much about wine, but she knew that the wines Jean collected were good.
After wandering around, she did not bother to think about it anymore, so she chose a bottle at random.
âLetâs drink this.â
Jean stopped her outstretched hand and took another bottle instead. âThat one has high alcohol. Letâs drink this.â
Neera glanced at the bottle. It was champagne. âIt canât make me drunk.â
Jean was amused and tapped her forehead. âI invite you to drink elegantly. Do you think Iâm asking you to get drunk? I wonât allow it.â
Drinking too much would hurt her body. Jean did not want to make Neera uncomfortable. After saying that, he took the wine and led her up.
