Chapter 565 Incredible Help
Jean couldnât help but scrutinize her from head to toe.
He finally pulled his burning gaze away as Neera began to feel uneasy.
âIt looks good on you,â he said with an ordinary tone.
While adjusting her attire, Neera cast a downward glance. She replied, âYeah, it fits well.â
A smile spread across Jeanâs face. He gently prompted her, âLetâs go. We need to find you a horse.â
Numerous breeds and classes of horses can be found here. Without a doubt, the prices for all the breeds were
high.
They were personally led to choose Jean rather than the staff.
lan secretly offered support on the side, âMs. Garcia, you all have hit the jackpot today. These horses have been well cared for by my boss. No outsiders have ever been permitted to ride them.â
The most notable aspect of his implication was that these horses were exclusive to them.
Neera caught on to that. Her eyelashes fluttered, urging herself not to overthink.
Penny was drawn to a white pony.
Harvey and Sammy settled on an attractive brown one.
âHow about you? Have you decided on a horse?â Jean inquired, tilting his head.
Neera, who was inexperienced, sincerely asked for help, saying, âI donât know. Iâd never been on one before. Do you have a gentle horse?â
âThen you should go with this white horse,â Jean said, raising an eyebrow. âSnowdash is its name.â
Neera gently stroked Snowdashâs head. She smiled when the horse didnât resist her touch. She exclaimed, âAlright, this one it is!â
Curiously, she asked Jean, âWhat about you? Which one will you choose?â
Before Jean could answer, lan interjected, smiling, âMr. Beauvort doesnât have to pick. He has his exclusive horse, though he rarely rides it because of his health issues.â
âAn exclusive horse? Sounds cool,â Neera remarked with a chuckle.
âIndeed, and itâs a handsome one named Stormfeather!â
Stormfeather? That name sounds a lot like Snowdash.
lan revealed, âMs. Garcia, his horse and yours are a pair!â
Inexplicably, Neeraâs heart ski pped a beat.
Jean shot lan an enigmatic look.
The triplets held back their giggles while subtly applauding lan.
Letâs go to the riding ground,â Jean said, breaking the awkward silence.
âSure,â Neera said, repressing her strange emotions and catching up with him.
The riding arena was carpeted with lush green grass and bathed in warm sunlight.
lan called over two employees and volunteered, âI can teach the kids and make sure theyâre in good hands.â
He then switched the topic, âAs for Ms. Garcia, I think Mr. Beauvort would teach you. Although he doesnât ride often, his equestrian skills are top-notch. Donât worry, heâs the best teacher! Iâm sure you will pick it up quickly.â
As soon as lan finished, the triplets agreed, saying, âSounds great! We can have fun with peace of mind.â
âUncle Jean, please look after Mommy. Thank you very much!â
Jean agreed with an arched brow and a casual grunt.
Everything was settled quickly.
Neera, as the party in question, had no say in the matter. She found the situation amusing yet ironic.
The triplets were utterly satisfied. They ran off to play gleefully, like a caged animal set free.
Jean witnessed the scene. His eyes were filled with joy.
Soon after, he averted his gaze and turned to Neera, asking, âAre you ready?â
âYes, letâs get started,â Neera said.
Jean helped her mount the horse. Then he went over the techniques and precautions with her.
Neera paid close attention.
âYou donât need to be so tense,â Jean chuckled, perhaps noticing her solemn demeanor. âRelax. Iâll walk you for a round to get a sense of horse riding.â
Neera was certainly nervous. She agreed with a quick nod.
They began their lesson shortly after, with Jean leading the horse.
Neera sat stiffly on the horse, afraid to move for fear of being thrown off. Her palms were sweaty from gripping the reins so tightly.
On the contrary, the triplets were brave and quickly adapted to the skill. After a while, they were riding around the arena on their own.
Jean paused after two rounds and asked, âDo you want to try it on your own?â
âAlright,â Neera agreed, feeling she had some grasp on things.
Snowdash stood on its hind legs as soon as Jean let go.
It leaped into the air, giving Neera quite a fright.
Even Jean was startled, but with quick reflexes, he immediately grabbed the reins.
âNo, you donât have to do that,â Neera said quickly. âIâm fine.â
Jean considered it a good idea. He persuaded, âTeaching hands-on indeed makes it easier to pick up the skill.â
Having said that, he mounted the horse with ease, looking effortlessly stylish.
Neera, on the other hand, was too preoccupied to notice. Her entire body had stiffened. She felt her entire back pressed against Jeanâs chest.
They appeared to be embracing each other in their positions!
The manâs familiar scent wrapped around her.
Furthermore, because Jean had to hold the reins, their bodies pressed even closer together.
She had the feeling of resting in his embrace.
Her cheeks flushed instantly, all the way to the tips of her ears. Her heartbeat quickened so fast that it almost leaped out of her ch
