Neera did not stop them. The triplets walked Jean and lan to the gate and continued

waving their hands until Jean went into the house.

Neera was surprised to see that.

That man only lives next door. What’s with the ceremonious send-off?

She packed up the tea-making utensils and went back to the kitchen to wash up.

The triplets followed her back to the mansion but did not go into the kitchen. Instead, they huddled together in the living room and discussed their next plan.

“Daddy and Mommy still seem pretty distant from each other. We need to think of a way

to bring them closer,” Harvey said seriously.

Sammy nodded in agreement. “What can we do to bring them closer? Daddy’s life is so

boring, and Mommy always stays at home…”

Penny thought for a while and raised her suggestion to her two brothers. “If their lives

are boring, we’ll have to find some way to show them how interesting the outside world

can be. What do you think if we arrange a date for Daddy and Mommy?”

“That’s a good idea!” Sammy’s eyes lit up. He quickly covered his mouth in case his

Harvey thought it was a good idea too, but he considered something. “Mommy will

have to perform an operation soon. Let’s arrange a date for them after the operation.”

He knew that Neera would be very tired after she performed an operation, and he had

to ensure that his mother had enough rest.

The two children agreed with him, and a new plan was formed.

The next day, Neera received a call from Isabella.

“Neera, I’ve gotten the green light from the elders. The operation is ours!”

Neera smiled when she heard how happy her best friend was. “That’s great. Don’t worry.

I’ll make adequate preparations.”

“Mm!” Isabella had no doubts about Neera’s skills. “I need to trouble you to come over

to the hospital though. We’ll have a meeting to iron out some details about the

operation. Are you free today?”

Neera agreed to the suggestion.

She wore a mask when she went to the hospital and had an hour-long meeting with the

No one saw her face throughout the meeting.

After the meeting, she wanted to return home.

She changed and got out of the bathroom. Unfortunately for her, she bumped into

Roxanne and Zachary in the corridor.

She frowned slightly when she saw the two people.

She did not want to waste any time on them. After shooting a glance, she walked

around them.

However, Roxanne stopped her.

“Hey, isn’t this my elder sister Neera? Why are you here? Are you ill?”

Neera had already removed her mask by then. She wore light makeup which made her

look delicate and exquisite.

Roxanne’s eyes flashed with envy when she saw that. Her tone of voice was especially

sarcastic.

Neera stopped walking, turned around, and swept her gaze across her.

Roxanne was surprised. She seemed displeased.

Meanwhile, Zachary stared wordlessly at Neera. His breath had been taken by her

beauty.

He was also shocked the first time he saw her in six years. This was the second time he met her, but the shock remained the same.

If he had known that Neera could be so beautiful, he would not have called off the

engagement!

Zachary wanted to ease the tension. “We haven’t met for six years, Neera. Don’t say

that..”

Neera glared at him coldly and said, “Who are you again?”
