and illuminate your eyes,

i watch as they dance

with glee.

i watch the moonlight

pour out your smile;

the smile

that tastes of a thousand

wishes

and speaks in whispers

that sound like

hopes and dreams.

and i watch as

the depth of the midnight sky

rests upon your head;

dark and beautiful.

the entire galaxy

must have found a home in you,

because when i look at you

i see the whole universe.

you are never just the sky,

never just the stars.

rather the most

delicate balance of

dark and light.

the sight is breathtaking,

and looking at you

is feeling

out of this world.
