and your stupid jokes,

that i miss your spontaneity and insanity.

that i miss staying up

till well after midnight

spooking each other

and laughing together

and talking

about every single person we knew,

and waking up not long after

to left over takeout

from the previous night.

i miss you.

i miss your company.

i miss dancing around together

and having swims

embraced with music and humour;

i miss food dates

and shopping days

when we tried on everything

we couldn't afford

and was way too big;

those pictures are adorable

and your smile brightens them.

i miss our secrets

and your acceptance of mine.

with the new people you've found,
