Chapter 6 - The Crash -

The military was getting impatient waiting for things to come to an end so they dispatched several Apache’s to shoot them off the road. When Emma told Rose they were coming and what their orders were Rose told Emma to head for the desert. Not to try and shake them but to lead them away from innocent civilians.

Once in the desert, Rose thought they could start flying since the glow of the sun was nearly gone. She told Emma to fly as the Apache’s started shooting. News helicopters saw the Apache’s open fire and it looked as though the shots were causing Emma to lift off the ground and start to fly upward.

Soon, however, Emma was so far ahead of the Apache’s that their rounds were no longer hitting her.

“Emma, we need to get into space for this to work,” Rose said. “Is there a problem that is stopping you?” She asked seeing that Emma’s flying was more up and down than straight and level.

“Somehow all that led is messing with my systems,” Emma said sounding less like herself and more like a computer.

“Let’s get out of here and when we are safe we can try getting the lead out.” Rose, Meagan, and Elizabeth said in unison.

Suddenly with a bright flash of light, Emma shot upwards and soon they were in outer space. Each of them was floating in the air as well as most of the items scattered around the room. Rose noticed that Emma was not just going around the Earth as they had planned but instead she was drifting off into space.

“Emma, what is wrong?” Rose asked. Floated into the room that contained Emma’s core.

“M...M...M...My Sys...Systems r... r... r... shu...shutting dow... downtown.” Emma said as the screen on the wall went out.

“Emma!” Elizabeth cried as the tears started to well up.

“It will be okay honey,” Meagan said trying to comfort Elizabeth.

“Will everything be okay?” Mike asked looking smug like he knew this was going to happen.

“You dumb cold hearted son of a BITCH!” Rose shouted at Mike. “If we weren’t hurtling through space I would kick your ass right out of Emma,” Rose said. “I think I would feel better however just taking a page from Meagan’s book and just...” She looked down and took aim but never kicked.

Right at that moment, it seemed something was now shouting at them again. As they all floated out to see what was going on they could not see anything actually shouting or hitting the outside of Emma, just glass suddenly shattering as well as chips of paint erupting from the surface of Emma.

After nearly a day of the pelting from what they could only assume to be a micro-rite shower, it seemed to stop.

Rose spent several days trying to get Emma up and running again and was about to call it a lost cause when she found what was stopping her from working. Rose pulled it out and made a makeshift fix in the circuit.

“Meagan?” Rose said. “Would you take Elizabeth to the other room please?”

Rose waited until she heard the door between the rooms open and closes before she turned to Mike. “You told me you watched this shatter on a pole in front of Emma back at your apartment,” Rose said, holding up the led box with the phone in it.

Mike looked shocked by the box and did not say a word. He tried to turn and move away but he had not quite mastered how to move without something to push on like Rose had. Within a second Rose was in front of him staring into his eyes with that same blood red fire in her eyes that she had before.

“This may have killed us all because of where you hid it,” Rose spoke with her voice in a normal tone but as she did Mike could feel each word reverberate within him.

“I am sorry. I was mad, angry even... I did not know what to do.” Mike said tears filling his eyes. “You don’t know how long I had been after Meagan just for a date. I had a crush on her all throughout high school and into college.” Mike said as the tears now started welling up. “I got a job at the mall where she worked just to be close to her. I asked her every time I heard she got out of a relationship with anyone, male or female.” The tears were coming much faster now. “Then you come along and within just a few days you had her living with you. Then a few months later right before all this shit started her and I were talking on the phone together and she said she... She said... she said she had just had the best... the best... The best sex ever... with YOU!” He finished the tears and sobs so intense that the only thing he could do was bury his face in his hands.

Rose, now understanding what he was feeling and going through, Grabbed Mike and started hugging him and as she did she tried to calm his tears and sobs and to tell him things will work out in the end. When suddenly Mike lifted his head and kissed Rose. At first Rose did not break away. She had never been kissed quite like that. Rose was just starting to accept it when something deep down hit her and she broke it.

Rose started to push away when Mike pulled her in again. This time Rose never got the feeling and let things go. Soon Rose let go so much that Mike’s tongue found its way into Rose’s mouth. Soon after, Rose did not remember doing it herself, her clothes started coming off. First, it was her shirt. Mike moved down and started kissing the top of her left breast as he needed the other in his left hand. This did not feel good to her so she grabbed his hand and pulled it away. Then it was her bra that fell away. Then her skirt and panties seem to leave her as one. Mike had also moved down licking and kissing his way down between her legs. As he moved Rose could feel a tingling sensation shoot throughout her body emanating from wherever he touched.

Soon Rose found herself shivering and shaking all over. She did not know what this sensation was. It was making it hard to move or even focus on what was going on in front of her. Her mind was leaving her and the only thing she could think of was Mike giving her every ounce of seed he had. And as if he had heard her Mike had started moving upward on her body. His penis was hard and large, larger than hers had been as a man. She could feel it slide on her belly as he came up past his intended point. He left it touching her as he moved it back down towards her vagina. The first thrust he made caused his penis to move upward and she saw the head emerge from between her legs. He pulled back and reached down with his right hand as he tried again.

When Mike made his second attempt he managed to get it to push in a little. Rose felt like the world was going to explode. The sensation was nothing like she had ever felt before. It was like fire and ice had merged into one feeling. Then she felt Mike push again and everything she felt from the first thrust amplified and shot through her like a bolt of lightning. Her body now quivering, more than she ever had as man or woman, Mike gave a third thrust but unlike the first two, this one was all fire. It shot from her vagina all the way to her head and toes and just as fast as it started it was gone. Mike gave his fourth thrust and Rose could feel her toes curl.

His motion suddenly started to get faster and faster and Rose felt like her body was going to erupt from all the feeling she was now feeling. After what felt like only a few seconds but knew it had been much longer she felt Mike tighten up and give one last thrust and as he did she felt her body do the same. She felt something shoot into her as her body tightened up pulling Mike into her and holding him there. And then she found she was able to think again and she released him.

Mike pulled out and she could feel something, something had started oozing out of her vagina. She knew it had to be Mike’s cum. So trying not to think about it, she started to look around for her clothes so she could get dressed. Soon she had her shirt and bra. Then she gave another glance around and found her skirt, but no sign of the panties.

“Have you seen my panties?” Rose asked throwing Mike his pants.

“No,” Mike said as he pulled on his pants. “Do you see my shirt?” He asked back looking up at the top of the room.

After a few minutes looking they eventually found all their clothes. As they finished getting dressed Emma’s screen flicked on. Both Mike and Rose waited with bated breath for her to fully boot up. After about ten minutes the screen that has Emma flickered once again but nothing else seem to happen.

Rose’s heart sunk. “It failed.” She thought to herself allowed.

“Hello everyone.” Emma’s voice said loud and clear.

Rose was so excited she grabbed Mike and kissed him, shortly after breaking apart. Meagan and Elizabeth entered the room and saw Rose and Mike shouting “She works.”

Once Rose had calmed down she wanted to know how bad Emma’s circuits were. “Emma? Give me your operating specs and current abilities, Please.” Rose asked knowing such a short could have caused other issue.

“Based on the information coming from my components I should be operating at 22.4 MHz processors 19600 GB ram with a max memory space of 120 TB. Whoever my systems diagnostics show I am operating at one hundred times faster than that.” Emma said with concern evident in her voice.

“I was afraid of that,” Rose said looking down with concern on her face.

“What is wrong?” Meagan asked. “Is she okay?”

“She is running at about one to two percent of normal and some of the hard drives seemed to have been fried,” Rose said looking around.

“So what does that mean?” Mike asked looking at Emma’s screen.

“I cannot do all the things I could before,” Emma answered. “I do not even know if I can safely set down on the moon let alone anything bigger.”

“Emma?” Elizabeth asked. “How hard do you think it would be to plot a course to allow for a controlled slide landing on Mars?”

“It would depend on how we approached Mars Elizabeth. I can plot the best course but we will hit with so much force I do not know if my body will take it or not.” Emma explained. “Why do you ask?”

“Because Mars now looks twice the size of the moon back on Earth, it’s right outside of the window here,” Elizabeth said.

Everyone looked where Elizabeth had pointed and sure enough, there was Mars, even bigger than she said.

Suddenly the direction of Emma changed. She was going to use Mars gravity to slow herself down. After about four orbits Emma was heading for the surface. Emma turned off everything that she could to devote as much processor as possible to the task at hand as possible. Once through the outer atmosphere, the lights came back on and the descent seemed to speed up.

At about five-hundred feet from the ground, Emma seemed to level off and everyone thought it was going to be a gentle landing. Rose stood to see how much further it was until they were on the ground. As soon as she realized it she just had time to drop to the floor again. The landing was anything but easy. As they hit the ground Emma gave a violent shutter, then lights went out followed by four loud bangs as sand and rock went flying over the top of Emma. Then everything stopped and all them went flying to the front of Emma.

Rose walked to the door that Emma was behind but it did not open. Rose had to force the door open something they had never had to do, even when Emma went offline. When she looked in the room it was darker than she had ever seen it. All the light that always seemed to come from nothing was gone.

Elizabeth started crying and buried her head in Meagan’s shoulder. Meagan too started crying which made Rose feel like she needed to cry as well. But Rose knew she could not if she was going to keep her friends alive.

The next morning Rose woke up to something moving around outside. When she looked out the window she could see a strange looking robotic face looking into Emma. She only had time to bring her hand up to cover her face when she heard it take a snapshot.

The NASA Landing Camp was now in site and they could see that another 3 ships had landed while they were gone. Meagan wanted to race to the front door with Rose to see if she was just fast as Rose was. Just as fast as Rose had been able to on Earth Meagan and Rose moved as though time did not exist.

James who had been left behind could not believe his eyes. The two girls in front of him seemed to take three steps in fractions of a second each to cover more than five football fields. “How is this possible,” He said aloud not knowing that someone was listening to him.

“How is what possible James?” Rebecca asked over the radio.

“Rebecca?” James asked hoping that it was her.

“Yes. How is what possible?” She replied.

“That is not important right now,” James said remembering about Bob. “Have you seen Bob of Late?”

“Now that you mention it I have not seen him since we returned from getting our guest,” Rebecca said. “What is wrong James? What has the little done?” She said putting a lot of emphasis on squirt.

“Are you alone?” James asked.

“Yes, I am,” Rebecca said with concern present in her voice.

“There is a really important part missing off of Rose’s ship,” James said calmly. “The part someone took is really .”

“Dangerous, how?” Rebecca asked with a lot more concern in her voice now.

“Dangerous enough that none of us may make it off this rock dangerous,” James said looking around to see if anyone was listening since at least one of the new landing pods was a manned grew.

Just then James heard someone come into the radio room with Rebecca. “Are you all alone?” The voice said sounding far too much like a cartoon character than a person.

“Yeas,” Rebecca said holding down the talk bottom so to not let the person know there was someone on the radio.

“Talking to someone on the radio?” The voice said.

“Just trying to reach James, Bob, he is not back yet,” Rebecca said, both to keep Bob from knowing what was going on as well to let James know who was there with her.

James stopped the rovers and ran as fast as he could to the module. “NO!” James heard Rebecca scream right before the line went dead. James knew he still had at least two hundred yards to go before he was at the airlock to get inside.

Suddenly something came shooting out of the window of the radio room. “NO!” James shouted at the top of his lungs. As he got to where the body laid, James saw that it was not Rebecca. It was a twisted thing that could only be Bob. As James looked up at the broken window he saw Rose and Meagan standing there looking down where he sat.

Meagan jumped from the window landing as if it was just a step-down. As she moved forward Rose landed right behind her.

“What happened?” James asked looking from Meagan and Rose.

“He must have had the box and tried to open it,” Rose said looking down at the twisted body.

“No. I mean just know. What happened to Rebecca?” James said clarifying what he wanted to know.

“Rebecca will be fine,” Meagan said.

“We were coming down the hallway when we heard her scream,” Rose said.

“When we entered the room Rebecca was fighting trying to get out,” Meagan said.

“We showing up when we did gave her the chance she needed to get out,” Rose said.

“Once the door closed the real fun started,” Meagan said. A smile spread from horn to horn on both women as they turned to look at each other.

James now feeling like his head was on a constant pivot grabbed his head with both hands. “I am glad it was not Rebecca that came out of that window,” James said letting his head go.

“If it had been most everyone may have died in there today,” Rose said looking down at the body one last time. “Let’s go inside and you can tell Rebecca how you feel about her.”

James looked up and stared at Rose for a moment then said, “Okay. Let’s go.”

Once inside James and Rebecca embraced in a log and passionate kiss. Having both just realizing their true feeling for each other.

After searching Bobs room Meagan and Rose found the little box and were able to get it reinstalled in Emma. After about two days of hard work and a lot of help from James and his crew, they were able to restore power to Emma and get her to fully function again.

James and his crew never returned home when it came time to go, partly because they didn’t want to, partly because NASA launched the return module without them. But mostly because each of them had changed into creatures just like Rose and Meagan during the two years they were together.

For some reason, the men’s changes were extremely painful while the women’s were just uncomfortable. One theory Frank had was probably due to the fact that “Women were the closest to the changed form while men got the full kick the balls to the back and grow the rest.” He told everyone at dinner one night as James had finished his change.

Elizabeth now has two sisters that she loves more than anything and helps to make sure they have everything they need. Though she can’t go outside to play with them like she would like since she is still fully human, the only one in the camp that is. Emma has even got a few new friends as well. After Emma was restored they were able to take her back to Earth and get all the parts needed to build a few more though it took some time to get enough ‘Million 747’ for all them.

The landing camp now looks like a regular small town with its own roads and walkways. Most of the shuttles have been given chips like what was in Emma so the insides are much larger now. Most of them grew by the same amount of ten to one but a few surprised us by becoming twenty to one with one being nearly thirty to one.

Mike never got with Meagan or Rose but did meet someone else that makes him just as happy. Her name is Jessica and they are both expecting a child in a few months.

It’s not like they never go to Earth. They are just really careful when they go. They do need their supplies you know. Emma has set up a communication line for everyone to use to send and receive emails as well as phone calls to and from friends and family.

With Emma’s help, Rose can still keep her business going on Earth. Since everything is still under John Kincaid Emma just has to overlay John’s image and voice over Rose’s when they talk by video conference, but that is only during the annual stock reports.

All the children will be doing online schooling even for college since they cannot go to a regular public school on Earth due to their appearances. They have set up one of the shuttles to be the school as well as the daycare since some the children parents still do most of their original work as NASA astronauts, Mars still holds many secrets to uncover.

They also set up a large Bio-Dome that can house up to 100 people for when NASA sends the next team up to work. Though NASA is still not telling anyone when that might be. It is possible they think that they would lose more good men and women if they sent any.
