Zaireâs POV
Life felt like a game of chess now, every move calculated, every decision carrying weight. The girls were stronger, no doubt about it, but that didnât mean I could let my guard down. Amanda wasnât just a threat; she was a ticking time bomb, and I could feel the pressure building.
Sitting in my office, I stared at the surveillance footage Malik had sent over. A black SUV had been spotted trailing us for the past two days, sticking close to our homes, the gym, and even the warehouse.
âYuh see dis?â Malik asked, leaning back in his chair. âAmanda nah play.â
âSheâs too bold,â I muttered, my fist clenching against the desk. âShe tâink she untouchable.â
Giovanni walked in, a cigarette dangling from his lips. âIf yuh want mi deal wid it, jusâ seh di word.â
âNot yet,â I replied, shaking my head. âMi nah gi har di satisfaction fi seh mi a move reckless. But wi need fi send a message.â
Malik nodded, his face serious. âWhat yuh thinking?â
âA warning,â I said, my voice low. âShow her seh wi know every move she mek. But wi nah kill har...yet.â

Miyahâs POV
When Zaire called a meeting that night, I could feel the tension before he even opened his mouth. Ashley, Zoey, and I sat on the couch while Zaire, Malik, and Giovanni stood across from us, their faces hard.
âAmandaâs been following wi movements,â Zaire started, his eyes locking on mine. âSheâs watching every step wi mek, every place wi go. And mi nah go lieâdat nuh sit right wid me.â
âLet her watch,â Zoey said, her voice sharp. âShe cyaah do nutten.â
âNot true,â Malik countered, his tone grave. âDi fact seh sheâs bold enough fi follow wi mean she feel she have di upper hand.â
Ashley frowned, crossing her arms. âSo, what wi ago do? Wait fi she mek di first move?â
Zaire shook his head. âNah. Mi ago mek it clear seh she nuh have di power she tâink she have. Giovanni and Malik ago deal wid har car, mek sure she know seh wi deh one step ahead.â
âBut what if she escalates?â I asked quietly, my stomach churning at the thought.
Zaire walked over and crouched in front of me, his eyes softening. âMi nah go mek nutten happen to you, Miyah. Not you, not Ashley, not Zoey. Trust mi.â
I nodded, but deep down, I knew this wasnât going to end easily.

Zoeyâs POV
The next morning, the news broke. A black SUV had been found torched on the outskirts of the city, the fire leaving nothing but a skeleton of metal.
âMessage received,â Giovanni said with a smirk when we saw the footage on TV.
But I wasnât so sure. Amanda wasnât the type to back down, not without a fight.
âWi cyaah relax now,â I said as we sat around the kitchen table. âThis might piss her off more.â
âGood,â Ashley said, her tone cold. âLet her come. Wi ready.â
Was I scared? A little. But more than that, I was angry. Amanda had pushed too far, and if she wanted a war, then a war is what sheâd get.

Amandaâs POV
When Jada called me about the car, I almost laughed. They thought this would scare me? They thought this would make me back off?
âJada,â I said, my voice dripping with venom. âThey want a war. Fine. Letâs give them one.â
I wasnât afraid of Zaire or his little group of âbad gyals.â Theyâd underestimated me before, and they were about to pay for it.
âGet everyone together,â I continued, pacing the room. âIf Zaire wants to play games, then weâll show him just how dangerous we can be.â
Jada hesitated. âAmanda, maybe we should chill. This could getââ
I cut her off with a glare. âDonât tell me to chill. They started this. Iâm going to finish it.â

Zaireâs POV
That night, I couldnât shake the feeling that things were about to get worse. As much as I wanted to keep Miyah and the girls out of this, I knew they were already in too deep.
Miyah sat beside me on the couch, her hand resting on my thigh. âYou think this will stop her?â she asked softly.
I sighed, running a hand through my hair. âNo. Amanda nuh dat type. Dis jusâ go mek har more dangerous.â
âThen whatâs the plan?â
I turned to her, my jaw tightening. âWe finish dis once and fi all. But first, mi need fi know seh yuh ready fi whatever come next.â
She nodded, her eyes burning with determination. âIâm ready, Zaire. Whatever it takes.â
