Miya's POV
The tension had been building for days now, and I could feel it in the pit of my stomach. Every glance, every word, seemed to carry more weight than usual. I wasnât stupidâI knew Amanda was planning something. I knew it was only a matter of time before she made her move, and I wasnât going to let her win.
As I walked through the hallway of Zaireâs mansion, my thoughts raced. Zaire had told me not to worry, but I could see the stress on his face. He was trying to protect me, trying to protect us, but the truth was, I wasnât sure we could outrun this. Amanda was relentless. She was dangerous.
But then I reminded myself that I wasnât alone. Zaire, Zoey, Ashleyâwe were all in this together. And if there was one thing I was certain of, it was that we werenât going to let Amanda tear us apart.
I knocked on Zaireâs office door, and when he called for me to enter, I stepped inside. The look on his face made my heart race. He was already in motion, his mind already turning, but the moment his gaze landed on me, the tension seemed to ease a little.
âGot a plan,â he said without missing a beat.
I raised an eyebrow. âWhatâs the plan?â
Zaire stood up and walked over to me, pulling me into his arms. âWe hit her before she can hit us.â
The words were calm, but I could hear the fire behind them. Zaire was a man of action, and when he decided enough was enough, there was no stopping him. But I could feel the unease creeping in. What would Amanda do when she realized we were fighting back? I wasnât sure, but I had no intention of letting her ruin what we had.

Zaireâs POV
I had a plan, but plans always had a way of changing when emotions were involved. I wasnât going to let Amanda tear Miyah apart, but the truth was, I wasnât entirely sure what Amanda was capable of. Sheâd been obsessing over me for too long, and now it was my turn to remind her who I belonged to.
I grabbed my phone and dialed Malikâs number. âMake sure our people are ready,â I told him, my voice low but firm. âWeâre making a move tonight.â
Malikâs response was sharp. âUnderstood, boss.â
I hung up and turned to Miyah, her eyes watching me carefully. She could sense the shift in my mood, the change in the air. âWhat are you thinking?â she asked.
âIâm thinking itâs time to show Amanda that she doesnât control this game anymore,â I said, my jaw tightening.
Miyah nodded, though I could see the hesitation in her eyes. âWeâre in this together,â she reminded me, her voice soft but resolute. âWhatever happens, we face it head-on.â
Her words hit me harder than I expected, a reminder that this wasnât just about me. It was about all of us. And I wasnât going to let anyone break what we had.

Amandaâs POV
I smiled to myself as I looked at the phone in my hand. It was almost too easy. Zaire was slippingâhe didnât even know what was coming for him.
I had put everything in motion. The rumors, the whispers, the subtle touchesâI had everything planned to perfection. But now, it was time for the final move.
I stared at the message I had just received from Jada. She had done her part. Now, I had to make sure Zaire saw me for what I truly was: the woman he belonged with. Miyah was just a distraction. A phase.
I wasnât just going to sit back and let them win. I wasnât going to let her win. Tonight, I was going to remind them all who had the real power.

Zoeyâs POV
The plan was set into motion, and there was no turning back. We werenât just going to sit around and wait for Amanda to make her next move. We were going to take control of the situation before it spiraled further.
I met with Ashley in the living room, and both of us went over the details one more time. âThis is the moment,â I said, my voice steady. âWe need to make sure Amanda understands sheâs not welcome in Zaireâs world.â
Ashley nodded. âWe strike hard. We donât give her room to breathe.â
âWe wonât give her the chance,â I agreed, my eyes narrowing. âShe wonât know what hit her.â
---
Ashleyâs POV
I wasnât here to play games. Amanda had pushed me too far. When it came down to it, I wasnât going to let anyoneâespecially herâmess with my people. Zoey and I had everything in place. We had eyes on every corner. We were ready to deal with whatever Amanda threw at us.
I looked over at Zoey, my face hard. âTonight, it ends.â
She smiled darkly. âTonight, we show Amanda that messing with us was a mistake.â
---
Zaireâs POV
It was time. As the night wore on, I knew it wouldnât be long before Amanda made her move. But this time, I was ready. We had eyes everywhere. I wasnât about to let her destroy what I had with Miyah, with Zoey, and with the people I cared about.
I walked into the living room, where Miyah was waiting for me. She looked up, her eyes steady, but I could see the same worry that had been gnawing at both of us.
âIâm not letting her win, Miyah,â I said, my voice quiet but firm.
âI know you wonât,â she replied, her words full of strength. âBut weâre in this together. Whatever happens, we face it together.â
I pulled her into my arms, kissing her forehead softly. âYouâre everything to me. I wonât let anyone take that from us.â

Amandaâs POV
The moment had come. I could feel the storm in the air, the tension rising. Zaire would be here soon. He would finally see the truth. He would finally realize that I was the one who belonged by his side.
I stood in the darkness, waiting. My heart was pounding, and anticipation was building inside me. Tonight, everything changed.
